    More factual than instructive I was expecting advice on how to do yoga but a lot of the book was trying to sell how wonderful yoga is. I was already convinced of that. But there was a lot of history, facts about India, and even science. There was a chapter on proper breathing to get maximum benefits. The author talked about his own experience using yoga to recover from a back injury and nearly drowning. For people like me who want more advice on performing, he referred us to The Yoga Miracle webs More factual than instructive I was expecting advice on how to do yoga but a lot of the book was trying to sell how wonderful yoga is. I was already convinced of that. But there was a lot of history, facts about India, and even science. There was a chapter on proper breathing to get maximum benefits. The author talked about his own experience using yoga to recover from a back injury and nearly drowning. For people like me who want more advice on performing, he referred us to The Yoga Miracle website. I recommend this for people who want to improve their physical, mental and spiritual health

The author is very knowledgeable about yoga and has spent his life dedicated to learning about yoga and meditation. You will learn about the history of yoga, breathing techniques, meditation, beneficial yoga poses and so much more. This book was not an easy read for me, but I stayed with it to the end. The author is very knowledgeable about yoga and has spent his life dedicated to learning about yoga and meditation. You will learn about the history of yoga, breathing techniques, meditation, beneficial yoga poses and so much more. This book was not an easy read for me, but I stayed with it to the end. I did learn a lot from the book, and I can see myself going back and re-reading certain chapters. Yoga teachers and anyone who has studied yoga for their career will definitely want to read The Yoga Miracle.

History and how to and mostly WHY to. It was a very peaceful and enjoyable read. I would recommend it highly to anyone interested in all the aspects of yoga.
