Overall rating - ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 stars I received an ARC in exchange of my honest review. Firstly a huge thank you to the author for presenting me the ARC of this wonderful book. I really loved the plot and the way this story was executed. This was my first Roxanne Tully book but definitely not my last. I love the authors writing and presentation of the story. Firstly a huge thank you to the author for presenting me the ARC of this wonderful book. I really loved the plot and the way this story was executed. This was my first Roxanne Tully book but definitely not my last. I love the authors writing and presentation of the story. This book harbors a very serious subject. I can't that its infidelity. Its not based on cheating either but whatever it was, it was very sensitive for all the parties involved. The storyline was compact with a third person narration , letting the readers glimpse into both Matt and Lizzy's thoughts. I knew I was going to like this book from the very first page. I fell In love with all the secondary characters too. Megan and Ben were my personal favourites of them all. The way they became a pillar of support for both Lizzy and Matt even when they were constantly pushed away, was truly commendable. The best part of the story was to see Lizzy and Matt fall for each other all over again. That was really my favourite part. This book really touches sensitive subjects such as PTA. Since the involved people are already married made it all more touchy. Anyways, I am really happy that I got to read this beautiful book and I loved all the characters. Ben and Megan aside, Marcus and Matt's parents - Rob and Francis deserve special mention along with Dr. Tai. I loved it and would recommend fans of the movie 'The Vow'. If you like angsty stories than you sould definitely give it a try. I am glad that I got to read this ARC and share my thoughts with you all. Happy reading.

Wife had a one night stand with Hubby’s brother few years back, when they broke up (they were not married at that time). So I don’t think it’s cheating. But she should have told him about this before they got married. After all it was his brother with whom she did it. I couldn’t connect with any characters. No one is likable. It’s too much of emotional drama.

The secret comes out on a dreadful weekend and short after Elisabeth suffers a tragic car accident. When she finally wakes up, she remembers nothing. She wakes up not knowing who she is, who her husband is, or even the secret she tried to keep from him for so many years. Matt Owen has a big decision to make. He was thinking of leaving her and now she needs him like never before. Could he forgive his wife's mistake? "But did temporarily forgetting your mistakes make you innocent?" I really enjoyed the way Roxanne Tully wrote this. Lately, I've been reading a lot of books written in the first person, because, usually, they are easier to get into. Being this one written in the third person I was surprised to be so intrigued from start to finish, being so easy getting into the story, and the way it just keeps on developing. Besides the lead characters, I really enjoyed some of the secondary ones as well, especially Megan. I give this 4.5 out of 5 stars and only because I feel like the ending could have been more magnificent than it was, but overall this was an amazing read and I'm certain I'll be reading more from this author. Thank you

This was an emotional rollercoaster. It took me a little longer than normal to read because my heart kept breaking more and more every chapter. She loses her memories and has no recollection of anything, specifically the secret that’s ruined their marriage. Her husband is ready to end their marriage, but when she loses her memories, his love for her breaks him down. He loves her so deeply that he doesn’t want the past to come back to get them again. He wants to leave the past in the past, but is that ever truly possible? Can you ever really move past something that destroys your trust in someone? I found Matt really difficult and frustrating the beginning of the novel. He grew on me a little as I started to understand more of where he was coming from as the novel progressed. Mostly, I just felt sadness and pity for our heroine. She only ever did what she thought was best and it still wasn’t good enough. Then karma came back to get her and she suffered more than anyone could dream of. I wish there had been more of a “reunion” at the end of the book. Our two lover’s reconciliation was short and sweet, but I wanted it to be longer. I wanted a greater profession of faith and trust and love. I would give this gem 4 stars, but only because it didn’t leave me feeling as good as I think it could have, it didn’t mend my heart completely. After ripping me apart, I need something healing and it didn’t quite get there for me. It was written incredibly well with eloquent phrasing and witty dialogue. My favorite thing about this book was how seamlessly our author wrote a couple that had been married for years turn into a couple that are just getting to know each other all over again for the first time. It was simplistic while at the same time so complex and tragic. Overall, a beautiful job. Bravo! “My love for you isn’t conditional. It never was and won’t ever be.”

She wants to find out why her husband is being so hot and cold with her. She wants to know what she did to hurt him so much. Let me start off by saying I cried, like a lot, a lot (lol). Remember Me is a very intense and dramatic contemporary romance. I don’t really like the cheating trope but in my opinion, the situation in this book wasn’t cheating but some may consider this book as a part of that genre/trope. I loved that Tully, from the first page, threw readers right into the action. There was never a dull moment, everything was super angsty and emotional. Matt stood by Lizzy’s side and did everything in his power to care for her emotional well-being after the accident. There were many lines that I would hit while reading the book where I had to stop myself, reread, and then I would be bawling. I loved the relationship between Lizzy and Matt. Their romance was so sweet and gentle. Matt adores Lizzy and there were so many soft and tender moments where you heart would melt whenever he would look at her. Those were my favorite moments in the book because, by the way he described her, you could see that he truly loved her and wanted to forgive her. I found it a little difficult to connect to some characters. I felt that Lizzy was a clueless shell the whole book and that made her boring but I really enjoyed Matt because he felt so real. I could really sympathize with him. Also, I think the ending could have been more drawn out and interesting. The book ended so abruptly and I felt like their story wasn’t over (but I guess I can’t complain because I did like the way things turned out - HEA for the win). Overall, this book wasn’t what I was expecting. It was a fast and easy read and all the drama and longing filled my sappy romantic heart with so much love and happiness. Remember Me is the first book I’ve read by Roxanne Tully and I was so lucky to have her reach out to me. I would definitely read something from her again. *I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 “But did temporarily forgetting your mistakes make you innocent?”✨ . If you enjoy: •Contemporary Romance •Second Chances •Angst •Rollercoaster of Emotions •Dual POV Then this may be the book for you!✨ . To be honest I’m not entirely sure how to rate this one. The story had me intrigued, frustrated and wanting more. Matt finds out about a secret his wife Liz had never told him, accidentally. The next day she’s in an accident and doesn’t remember him or even who she is. Let alone this secret. But ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 “But did temporarily forgetting your mistakes make you innocent?”✨ . Never truly knowing who I sided with. In the end, I’m still not sure.✨ . That said, this is my first read by the author. And I would definitely read her again. It was packed full of angsty emotion that left you conflicted and frustrated, yet turning the pages. It ends a bit abruptly, and I would have liked to see the secret worked out a bit more. Definitely a story of testing the strength of love and forgiveness. Overall a good read! The hangup for me was a personal one, so I definitely recommend checking it out for yourself if enjoy an angsty romance.✨ . I was provided with a copy for my honest review.✨

It had raw, real and emotional moments that are faced in the real world. The story had elements of love, regrets, betrayal, second chances and forgiveness. I couldn't put it down as the story kept me on the edge of my seat, wanting to know what happens next in the story and to the characters and how do they end up at last. - The main characters were complex and had an emotional and intense relationship which was depicted exceptionally. The dual point of view written in the third person was interesting as it gave the readers a chance to understand both Liz and Matt's perspective. - The story is a rollercoaster, an angsty tragic and emotional drama mixed with a lot of romance. - The writing style and character growth is incredible. The setting of the story made the book an enjoyable read. - The author definitely has a way with words. There are so many scenes where the phrases and sentences are written marvellously. - I was definitely looking for more at the end of the book, and I'm absolutely looking forward to read more from the author!

This was my first book by Roxanne Tully. I was fortunate to win it in a giveaway. I was initially drawn into the story by reading the blurb. Prior to the accident Liz and her husband had gotten into an argument because of something from the past that Liz never told him about. Now with no memory of who she is or who the people are around her, Liz needs to figure out who to trust and who she is. I can't even imagine the turmoil both Liz and Matt are going through. Matt is fighting between wanting his wife back with her memories or leaving the past behind her. Liz wants to know it all, but is she really ready to know why her husband is hot and cold with her? I had so much trouble putting the book down. I just had to know what was going to happen and when she would start to remember. I think Roxanne did a lovely job with this story, giving the reader so much dept from the characters and their emotions.

I thought in the beginning the book would play out like the movie The Vow with the addition of the fight/secret that caused the accident to begin with. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t like it at all. It was such an interesting concept to take on and I enjoyed reading every bit of it. While the secret was bad and I felt for both main characters, my heart was truly with Liz. She was trying to get her memories back while trying to figure out why everyone around her is acting weird, especially her husband. This was a subtle kind of suspense where I kept waiting for it to happen at every turn. I did feel bad for Matt because he had to get over a lot of things to help his wife, I feel like he was just too selfish for me to sympathize with more (though I did—just not as much). The only thing I wish is that we saw more of their story after she finally regained her memory. What did their relationship look like? There’s no way it went back to being perfect, they both would’ve struggled at least some I would think. I can love with the ending we got though. Great read by Roxanne! I found this book to be equal parts enjoyable and frustrating at times. It starts off really strong, with Liz and Matt at a family event where her previous “affair” is revealed. The whole incident screams of Friends and Ross yelling “we were on a break!!!” Very soon after this revelation Liz gets into a car accident and loses her memories. Matt then goes on a journey to help her regain her memories while also harboring resentment towards her for her previous betrayal. While reading this book I actively rooted for them to not have a HEA. Which is an odd way to feel while reading a romance novel. Matt wavered between doting husband and bitter lover. Not that I particularly blame him for his feelings towards Liz. Maybe if Liz had lost her memories later in the story I would have liked her character more? It is hard to say at this point.

I loved this book. Matt and Liz were so real and life like to me. Their story was honest and raw, that it was easy to read the book in one breath. What is the right thing to do? You'll see that Matt as well as Liz get to ask that same question. The book was beautifuly written and it made me think about it ling after I finished last page. If you want to feel like you are hearing real story this is book for you.

And let me be clear I am certainly not talking about a stuffy Non-Fiction book that you were assigned in World History in eleventh grade... How would you handle a situation like this where you were moving towards divorce and then suddenly an accident occurs??? What will bring back her memories, and will anything be left of their relationship when they return? Seriously a riveting read. This one is told from dual perspective and that added so much to story. I won this book in a goodreads giveaway. Thank you to the author. I found this story very compelling because the different angles each character internalized and dealt with the main problem, a single act of infidelity. There is so much more involved to this stories layers than the actual act that makes this book an emotional roller coaster. I would definitely read more of Roxanne Tully's works.

This was one of those books that really made you think about how you would handle such a difficult situation. Should you be forgiven for something that you can’t remember happening? Matt discovers a transgression by his wife Liz prior to their marriage while they were on a break (cue all of the Ross and Rachel “we were on a break” references!). The next day she is tragically in a car accident and left with amnesia. So many similar feels to The Vow (which I loved)! I love books like this that really make you think about, what would you do in the same situation. For some reason I just didn’t find myself rooting for this couple. Maybe I need more time with them in the beginning to learn about their love story? I did love the epilogue that the author has linked on her website, it is the perfect wrap up that I was craving!

I enjoyed aspects of this book, definitely wanted more from this couple, Matt & Liz. They were a lovely couple that went through a tough time throughout this book. Matt found out at the beginning of the book that Liz slept with his brother, Ben, years ago. Apparently Matt left Liz to go to Ireland, Liz was so besotted by Matt that she was absolutely destroyed. Ben and Liz made a drunken mistake, and did so because Liz didn't think that Matt would come back to her. Well, obviously they get back together and get married. Ben wants to come clean but Liz absolutely refused. She doesn't want to lose Matt because of one stupid mistake. Well, years later, Matt overhears Ben and Liz talking about that night at his parents house. Obviously Matt is destroyed and extremely angry. Completely understandable. Matt goes through a lot of emotions with finding all this out, and gets into an argument with Liz. The next day, the atmosphere in the house is completely awkward but nobody turns their back on Liz. She is obviously devastated with the turn of events and just wants Matt to understand that it was all a mistake, and it meant absolutely nothing. Matt gives off a cold demeanor, which leads Liz to leave the house for the day with her sister-in-law, Megan. A car accident leaves Megan with a broken wrist, and Liz with amnesia. Liz has no recollection of who she is, so she obviously has no idea who Matt is or what they just went through.. They go through their journey throughout this book, and it ends on a HEA, which is nice. I would have given this more stars but I just had a few issues.. mostly pertaining to Matt.. I understand feeling betrayed and angry with finding out your wife slept with your brother years ago. I can definitely understand feeling confused, losing trust within your partner, and maybe contemplating ending the marriage. What I can't understand is the fact that he found out this information, gets drunk, then has sex with his wife a few times before getting into an argument with her. It seems like it was an immature way to deal with things.. But that wasn't it. He planned on leaving Liz the whole time but felt guilty because obviously this woman has no idea who she is or how she's betrayed him. Okay, I get it. Not the time. But he was messing with her emotions and leading her on. It seemed cruel. Especially since he was wishy washy with his feelings. One minute he wanted to leave her because he knew he couldn't forgive her, and then he'd feel gutted by the thought of leaving her.. I like how much Matt obviously loved his wife. I also enjoyed reading how Liz was just naturally drawn to Matt. She had zero memory but knew she was supposed to be with this man. She was patient and very kind with him, even though she knew he was keeping things from her, and was even keeping her at arms length at times. I just wish there was more from them. I feel like the book ended kind of abruptly so I was left with some questions. Not questions about their relationship, but about their future. I enjoyed their dynamic, and stories from their past. I definitely will read future books from this author because I overall enjoyed the writing style.

Roxanne painted a clear picture of what each character was feeling by swiping between the point of views of Matt and Lizzy. Suddenly, another plot twist: Liz gets into a car accident the day after the secret was revealed and she no longer remembers who she is. The doctors say it’s temporary but will take some work in everyone she’s around to help her get her memories back in a safe way. Now Matt has a decision to make: to leave his wife who is helpless in knowing who she is or be the husband he signed up to be and help her with her memories? As Matt battles with his inner self of feeling selfish and wanting to leave, in the end he sticks true to his vow he made when they married. It was interesting to see his emotions untangle themselves in this book. Often times, I felt mad at him and wanted to reach between the letters to slap him upside the head with his own book and tell him to get a grip. What happened in the past happened. I truly loved following Lizzy on this journey. Since she didn’t remember who she was, we got to learn about a whole new Lizzy while being reminded of who she actually was before the accident. It reminded me of the movie “The Vow” but the scenarios are super different. I ended up rating this book five-stars mainly because of the clever idea of throwing a curve ball to her readers within the first few pages and the amazing character building.

It took me a while to settle into the writing style, the first chapter was a bit all over the place and at times a bit over descriptive, but then when the story kicked in it flowed much better. I have to say I really felt for Matt.... it’s no spoiler that he overhears some upsetting news about his wife, which triggers a series of events that no one could possibly have predicted. I never really felt any sympathy or empathy for Liz, in fact I felt she got the easy out and the more we learnt about her as she rediscovered herself the more my first impression was proven to be correct. I found myself interested in the whole amnesia subject, I can’t possibly fathom how that must be for someone to awaken in their own life and yet have absolutely no mind of it what so ever.... it must be totally terrifying. A very interesting and thought provoking tale which certainly has you wondering whether honesty is the best policy or if it really is better to let sleeping dogs lie.....🤔. One thing is for sure, you just never know when someone might be listening!!! I received an arc from the author and this is my honest review.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I've been working on this review for a while because I had to get all my thoughts together for it. Remember Me isn't the typical story that I would be attracted to but as I got further in, the story became so unique to me. This book was real and raw. When the book begins you are thrown into the intense situation between our couple. But I found it hard to pick aside. I hate cheating in books but this wasn't cheating. I would categorize it more of a lapse of judgment that led to betrayal. But I found myself giving our heroine a chance and not writing her off as evil. Roxanne Tully gave me a real story of betrayal that leads to a loss in trust within a relationship. When the tragic event takes place and all memory is lost, our hero immediately becomes conflicted but his heart guides him to stick by his wife. His choice is already made and so within the rest of the story, you see him struggle to let himself forgive and love her as he needs. This story is real and is very unique from what I have been reading lately. But it was for sure a story I will remember.

This was my 1st read from this author. The story was an ok read. The book started off good with a secret being revealed about Liz. As the story went on I found myself frustrated with Matt, I felt like he wanted to help Liz, but at the same time resent her for her betrayal. Matt reminded me of a bitter lover. I was hoping he would just leave, and let Liz regain her memories another way. I also found the story boring at times. As of one of the main characters I wanted more from Liz. She was just plain and I believe that's why I couldn't connect to her. The cover of the book made me think "steamy" romance book. However the story did not read that way.

This was such a good easy going read I just got lost in and didn't want to stop. I constantly wanted to keep going to see where it was all going. I've never read an amnesia story line and found it was written really well and tastefully done. Liz has been hiding a secret from Matt and it all eventually comes out with huge repercussions. After a fight Liz is involved in a car accident which causes her to lose her memory she has no recollection of Matt or anything that happened previously. Unfortunately for Matt he can't so easily forget. He struggles to deal with his emotions whilst trying to help his wife. It was lovely to see these 2 fall back in love even with all the roadblocks along the way. This story kept me engaged all the way through its just a shame it ended so quickly I would have loved more especially from the ending where Liz starts to piece it all together. I would definitely recommend this story to anyone who loves a good romantic drama.

OMG, "Remember Me" did NOT disappoint. What i thought was right and wrong, constantly collided with the complicated emotional histories if these characters and my own ideas of interpersonal relationships. It is a deeply loving and thought provoking experience.

Thank you so much @roxtully.author for sending me a copy of her book “Remember Me” in exchange for an honest review.
