"Yuletide Mementos" is a sequel to "At the Mountains of Madness," a science fiction-horror novella by H. P. Lovecraft (1890-1937). The novella tells of a doomed expedition to Antarctica and the grotesque alien monstrosities encountered by the explorers. Mark McLaughlin is the author of BEST LITTLE WITCH-HOUSE IN ARKHAM and EMPRESS OF THE LIVING DEAD. With collaborator Michael Sheehan Jr., they have co-authored the Lovecraftian paperback collections, HORRORS & ABOMINATIONS, THE HOUSE OF THE OCELOT, and CITY OF LIVING SHADOWS.
