   Roc Upchurch je jeden ze spolutvůrců Rat Queens, který mají v mém srdci speciální místo, a podle mě je to nejlepší kreslíř, kterýho tahle série měla. Sejic a jeho dvě čísla a pár obálek byl taky fajn, ale jeho styl mi k RQ moc nepasoval. Upchurch, tentokrát se svým civilním jménem John, se vrací na scénu se sérií Lucy Claire: Redemption, kterou si sám i píše. Hlavní hrdinka Lucy je lovec vlkodlaků, resp. spíš byla. Vlkodlaci už nejsou pro lidi hrozbou a z bývalé hrdinky je tak troska. Vlkodlaci se opět vrací na scénu a s nimi i poptávka po slavné lovkyni. Následuje klišoidní přesvědčovačka vs. "už to nedělám" a první konfrontace s lykantropy. Bohužel ale první číslo nepřináší nic, co by mě přesvědčilo k tomu, abych měl chuť kupovat další čísla, takže tady moje zkušenost s návratem Upchurche na scénu pravděpodobně končí. Kresba je pořád super, ale mizernej scénář nezachrání. Pokud máte rádi Buffy nebo vás zajímá, proč vlkodlaci nosí kalhoty nebo bílej wife-beater, tak to můžete zkusit.

   A pretty solid story in the vein of a UF setting. Wolves are the villains here. The art is great but the story isnt tbe most original. Probably wait for the trade.

   Little red riding hood vs werewolves, been done before but better. It’s alright the art style is interesting and the fact that red riding hood (Claire), is a drunk who’s given up her responsibilities.

If she's alive will she be in any fit state to help? This first installment is a great taster of what is to come and I think I will be continuing with the series.
