Great read, finished it in one day. The legal aspect of this book wasn’t overly thrilling; but it was compelling. The real twist came after the verdict. Looking forward to reading the next in the Brad Madison story.

Just found a new author! Excellent read. Brad Madison is an interesting character and I like how he tries to interact in his daughters life even when he screws up. Don’t want to give away the plot just go read the series. You’ll be glad you did.

Great read Thank you for the introduction to a new (to me) author. He will join Stanford, Flynn, Connelly, Grisham, Child, Woods et. al. in my Kindle library. Bob Dean

Absolutely solid!! i am sitting here this morning, blown away with this latest installment of Bradley Madison, amazed. Amazed that such a ride can leave you utterly gripped until the very end, that final closing page. And, leave you with the anticipation of reading the next in series which I'm grabbing today. This was a great legal thriller that never disappointed. I read the first one a while back, and for whatever reason it took me a bit to get to this one. But, i'm glad I did. It had enough twists and turns in and out of the courtroom that kept it alive and moving in a way that I haven't experienced in a while. I'm a librarian and reader adviser for the Library for the Bprint disabled and physically handicapped. And, if this book were part of our collection I'd recommend this to anyone loving John Grisham, Scott Turrow, Steve Martini, and anyone that can bring a thriller of this calliber to life. I'm blown away, and allI can say is thanks JJ. You did it again. Grabbing the next one now. The only thing that would make it better would be to have the audio to immerse yourself in the reading even deeper. Otherwise, you don't need it. I've read until my fingers got numb. I read this one in braille, on a braille display, using the kindle app and all I can say is, it was definitely worth it.

I really enjoyed the first book in this series, but this one didn't resonate with me. Madison is compelled to defend the son of a fellow Marine veteran who is accused of two murders. Some potentially interesting subject matters like street gangs, social media, religious zealots & the war in Afghanistan are broached superficially with no new insight. The courtroom "drama" was dull & repetitive. And the last quarter of the book seemed like a bad Liam Neeson movie. There were also too many typos & I really enjoyed the first book in this series, but this one didn't resonate with me. Good Read Really enjoyed the book. Fast paced and quick read. I like the dynamics between Brad and his ex because I think they are true to form on a lot of levels. I liked the courtroom scenes as well and hope to see more of them in future books. I certainly did not have a clue who it was, kept me guessing yo to the end.

Slow to Whoa! I didn't think I was going to like this book because of the opening story line about a divorced couple and the typical conflict between them. The dialogue for the 7 yr old daughter was for an older child. I was slow to warm to you but glad I continued. It had a kick ass ending. Slow to Whoa! What a twisted plot! Keeps you guessing and reading to figure out who killed who and will justice be served. Learned a lot about social media and how it's used to feed different factions. Great courtroom drama! I just say I'm learning a lot about court procedures. The main character, Brad, is certainly flawed, but that just makes him more relatable. On to book three! This is the second book in the Justice series that I have read and the story just keeps getting better and better. They are supercharged thrill rides. Miller writes the Brad Madison series in such a way that you could begin with either book #1 "Forced Justice" or Book # "Divine Justice" and thoroughly enjoy the read but I do recommend reading them in order because the key characters characterization and the sub plots build upon what has gone before. The drama that's taking place in Brad's family life will become just as important to you as the criminal drama that he becomes engaged in both in the court room and on the streets. These books are real page burners. If you don't read this awesome new author you will never forgive yourself.

So good, I read it again! I am an incessant reader of legal thrillers. This is one of my all time favorites. The second time through was better than the first. Make sure to put this one on your list. It is a really fast moving, and quite a commentary on today's society. So good, I read it again! I am an incessant reader of legal thrillers. The legal part of the story was very good and relative to today's obsession with social media. Did not like the story of a 7 year old so active in this area. Not believable to me that a parent would allow this for a child so young. The legal part of the story was very good and relative to today's obsession with social media. Brad Madison has the worst luck in the world Breakneck action, when it sets in. Heavy testosterone. Brad Madison is written in the vein of early, pre-Doc-Ford Randy Wayne White. Entertaining, an emotional rollercoaster 🎢, all’s well that ends well.
