Sunny Marlow was head over heels in love with her husband, Zeek. She did any and everything possible to prove her love for him, but nothing ever seemed enough to please the man she vowed to spend the rest of her life with. What else is there to do when your back is against the wall? You’ve been lied too, cheated on, and both physically and mentally abused. To know a person Sunny Marlow was head over heels in love with her husband, Zeek. Page turner This was a good read and I finished it in no time. Zeek was abused and hurting, hurt people hurt others unintentionally. His abuse from his father took a tool on him physically and mentally. In the end the one person who lived him unconditionally lost her life. Zeek took his life because he couldn't handle that. Wow Completely blown away! The depth and details of this story were riveting. How anyone could be so absurdly cruel and abusive is beyond me. I wish Sunny had left when she had the chance. I wish she could have escaped to enjoy the good life. I wish other women like her walk when there is an out. Everything cannot be rationalized it explained. Phenomenal read!

Battered Blue I loved this short story. It was straight to the point and so real. I see crap like this everyday and the author made Shari so real and I just loved her spirit and character.

Great read Great read. Very sad ending and eye opening about domestic violence. I wish it could have been a bit longer and Sunny could’ve gotten a happy ending but unfortunately in reality some dv situations don’t

Too Sad Although this type of story is needed, it was almost too much to settle down with. Shari didn't get a fair deal out of this story. A lot of abuse and so much pain with a mellow ending.
