Sweet story of how we dream of being superheroes, often for the wrong reasons. One of the Little Critters, a hedgehog, is mocked by a bully badger during baseball practice. Hedgehog goes home and daydream about wearing tights and cape, owning superhuman strength, and certainly owning the bully. It ends well as you can expect, with the bully not being so bully-ish after all. Not exactly real life, but then what is? Cool book. Enemies can have a nice side to them. Even if its....just a daydream. Th Sweet story of how we dream of being superheroes, often for the wrong reasons. When I was little, I loved superheroes (who am I kidding? I still love superheroes) and this book was one of my favorites. A teacher read it to us in a Library class, I think.

Summary: This is a Little Critter book in which there is a bully in the neighborhood. Little Critter daydreams about being a Super Critter and stopping the bully, as well as saving everyone from dinosaurs aliens, and bank robbers. When Little Critter comes back to reality, the bully comes to Little Critter’s house and gives Little Critter back the candy he stole, saying that a critter in a mask and a cape told him to be nice or he would put him on top of a mountain. Evaluation: I loved Little Cri Summary: This is a Little Critter book in which there is a bully in the neighborhood. Evaluation: I loved Little Critter books when I was little. My favorite part was looking for the mouse in every scene and the great facial expressions that the characters make. Plus, as with this one, I always like how Little Critter, or some other character, learns a lesson in a humorous way that is fun and interesting to a child.

The children in my class really enjoy this story. It's about Little Critter being bullied, a child takes his bag of candy. Little Critter dreams of being a superhero so that he can help & save people as well as teach the bully a lesson. At the end of the story the Bully interrupts Little Critters Daydream by returning his candy. The children in my class really enjoy this story. In this story Little Critter has to deal with a bad bully. The bully always takes things from him and is just mean. But Little Critter thinks if he could be super hero he could save his friends, save his family, and make the bully stay in a tree until he says he is sorry a million times. In the end the bully and Little critter become friends.

It's a good book with good imagination, just use a different thing rather than a bully. So, I gave it 3 stars because all you need to do is change the words from a bully situation to just daydreaming. This is a good book to use in a classroom to show that anyone can get bullied. It is not something that should be encouraged, but should be something that is stopped. Students need to see that you can stand up to bullying.

Like I wrote earlier this was my favorite series as a child. This book is great because it gives children the courage to face the neighborhood bully and be confident about it. The age group for this book is early elementary.
