This series will definitely put you in a fantasy mode. I have read all three stories previously and it is nice to have them all in one place to manage access to them. My favorite is Island Hopping. Lizzie has her hands full trying to troubleshoot for her best friend's island wedding. Having been the center for the first one not going through she only wanted to ensure that things run smoothly for this one. When Baggy falls ill and the sudden appearance of Ruthie's other grandmother things heat up. Is Lizzie way over her head and will she be able to hold up to the bargain of the producer? This is filled with drama and keeps you on edge until the last page. I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book series for an honest review.

This book is an absolute perfect read for any and all. These second time around romances are too funny to put down! Each of these novels is an amazing story with characters to die for. The interactions and storyline are wonderfully entertaining. The Main female are a pair of sisters and their best friend, the amount of mischief that goes on as well as other family characters are a kick in the pants. A must read for some lite fun and romance.

I love all Ann Omasta's books. This is a great deal to get three books for one price. I enjoyed the time I spent with Roxie and Ruthie Rose and their friend Lizzie. Beaches, taping reality tv series and love make wonderful heartwarming books to keep you entertained. I laughed and cried. I will miss Baggy, their 'Bad Grandma'. You will enjoy reading these books. GETTING LEI'D is the first book in the Escape series. I recommend reading them in the order of release. This was one of the best rom-coms I have ever read. Who needs sleep when there is something this good to do (read) instead? It is fun, flirty, light, sweet, and innocently romantic. That does NOT mean there isn’t a good bit of steam. This should not be shared with the teenagers! I loved that Kai and Roxy were fully emotionally involved long before the clothes came off. This should not be shared with the teenagers! I loved that Kai and Roxy were fully emotionally involved long before the clothes came off. In fact, that was an important factor of this story… but I won’t tell you why. CRUISING FOR LOVE is the second book of the Escape series. Roxy’s flighty sister, Ruthie, is approached by a producer and signs up to be in a reality show onboard a cruise ship without actually reading the contract. She ends up with three gorgeous men in her life – Cameron (the groom the show marries her off to on the first night of the cruise), Syd (her stylist who becomes her confidante), and Andrew (her first crush from high school who just happens to be on the same ship). There are plenty of misunderstandings and manufactured trouble (after all, this is “reality” TV – insert eye-roll). I don’t watch reality TV and I don’t watch mean girl types of shows, so there wasn’t a lot I liked about most of the other characters, but Syd, the stylist, was amazing. Then there was Ruthie and Andrew – #TeamRuRew – I was rooting for them from the moment he followed her out of the auditorium. If only all crushes led to happily-ever-afters. The final book in the Escape series is ISLAND HOPPING. This one definitely needs to be read after Cruising for Love, since it is about Ruthie and Andrew’s wedding. The wedding will also be filmed for TV/online as a follow-up to the Cruising for Love show. It’s also about Lizzie – the girl who was central to Roxy’s first wedding imploding. Lizzie’s day job involves being a fix-it type of girl – an executive secretary – and she excels at it. So the producer, TJ, invites her along to add drama to the filming of the wedding since, obviously, Roxy and Ruthie are going to be holding a grudge, but Lizzie’s skills will be needed for all that TJ has planned to “add drama” to the wedding. (Yes, more eye-rolls.) I felt bad for Lizzie. We’ve all made mistakes. Not only is she being judged, but she’s being judgmental about Shay. Shay is an absolute sweetheart, even if he is a beach bum…. Or is he? One final thought: I’m always surprised by how much the books I’m reading seem to parallel my life at the time. Imagine the oddness that I have been approached by a casting director this week. It’s never happened before. Yet, this week while reading this book, it did. Is it any wonder I prefer to read happy and romantic stories? Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC via Booksprout, my opinions are my own and are given freely. Title: THE ESCAPE SERIES Series: Escape #1 - 3 Category /Genre: Contemporary Romance Recommended for: 18+ due to sexual content Grammar/editing: A – near perfect Received from: Ann Omasta (as an ARC gifted copy)

Grandma Baggy is a hoot and ratchets up the humorous side of this story of finding that what goes oh, so wrong may actually be oh, so fantastically right. This is a quick, easy read with a beautiful setting, likable characters (oh, Gary, thank goodness you never actually show your face!) and a group HEA. Fun, flirty, and not really 🔥steamy, just a bit titillating😉🌴🌅 Cruising for Love ⚓Truth is better than reality(tv): Is Ruthie really ready for reality stardom?😕 3.5-4🌟stars It took me until the last fourth of the story to really warm up to Ruthie, the heroine who was a key secondary character in Getting Lei'd, the previous romance in the series. Ruthie is coerced and badly treated by the production company that chooses her for their new couples reality show, but, really, she let it happen. The Cruising for Love reality show did not grab me as I thought it might and what happened to the bulk of the ship passengers? They are mysteriously MIA when Ruthie and the reality cast are moving about the cruise ship! I liked the earlier romance for her sister Roxy better. The writing flows well and makes it an easy read. The romantic overtures progress to fourth base pretty fast. I found the rapidity and depth of their connection a bit unrealistic even though they knew each other as teens. Ruthie's grand, unrequited love does not really jive with her behavior in Getting Lei'd. My favorite part of the story is the ending, after Ruthie's zany Grandma Baggy hits the deck and the reality show goes rogue. Grand gestures also made the ending satisfyingly romantic and upbeat. Island Hopping 💐Lizzie thrives turning chaos into calm, with major help from a handsome beach boy! 4🌟stars I liked the 💕romance for heroine and super organized Lizzie, but all of the chaos, glitches and 💐wedding drama she has to put up with just skated the edge of too much adversity for a fun, entertaining read. Lizzie's attempt to get back in the good graces of her friends and their family had her biting her tongue SO often, accepting rudeness and just downright bad treatment and every good deed she does is immediately followed by another crisis. It would have driven ME up the wall! There's humor, romance, passion (not explicit), odd, quirky characters, illness, tense family dynamics in the grandparent front, wedding glitches galore, reality tv cameras rolling, and a huge unwelcome visit from Mother Nature! Shay, Lizzie's savior, is a bit of a mystery man. I kept expecting a reveal of his full backstory but only got a tiny thread. It would have been nice to know more.

Book 1 starts with Roxy being jilted at the altar via text message saying that her groom has run off with her best friend. Roxy's grandma, Baggy grabs Roxy and her sister, Ruthie and they take off to enjoy the honeymoon in Hawaii that has already been paid for. While there Roxy falls for a man that she believes is only a bartender, Ruthie chases after the watersports coach and Baggy finds a man who may or may not be a spy. This book is fun and crazy and was a joy to read. I want a grandma like Baggy. Book 2 is Ruthie's story. Upon returning home alone, Ruthie is at a bar with friends where they are telling stories about all of her mishaps when a man comes up to her handing her a card and asking if she would like to star on a reality TV show. Ruthie's first mistake was agreeing to the show without really knowing what it was about and her next big mistake was signing all the paperwork without reading it in detail. Come to find out she is one of three ladies that gets married on a cruise ship and the show films all that happens before, during and after the weddings. Shortly after the wedding her groom takes up with one of the other brides and Ruthie is left at loose ends, so she decides to take in one of the shows and comes face to face with her high school crush. This reality show has more curveballs in it than a major league baseball game, you have no idea what is going to happen next. All I could do was keep reading and hope for the best. Baggy also makes an appearance in this book. Book 3 features Lizzie and Ruthie. Ruthie and her fiance decide to let the producer from the Cruising for Love reality series finance their wedding by televising it, too. T.J.(the producer) propositions Lizzie (Rosie's groom stealing best friend) saying that she needs to put her organizational skills to the test and come save Ruthie's wedding from all the obstacles that the producers are going to throw in their way. Lizzie only accepts because she wants to make amends for her part in Rosie's first wedding fiasco. After getting off to a rocky start with Ruthie, her parents and Baggy, Lizzie finally starts making inroads into gaining back their trust and love. She cements it even more after rescuing Baggy. Lizzie is very career driven and detail oriented which is great for helping to keep Ruthie's wedding on track, but isn't so great for her falling for Shay, whom she feels has no ambition. Between the antics of the TV show, the weather, the grandmothers' rivalry and a few other surprises one wonders if the wedding will be spectacular or one hot mess. Also, will everyone finally get their HEAs. Read the series and find out. I voluntarily read and reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is a wonderful selection of love stories set in beautiful tropical island settings. I enjoyed thoroughly all 3 of the books. In the first one, we meet Roxy. As she is getting ready to walk down the aisle to be married to Gary, her betrothed, she suddenly gets a text from him. The wedding is off. The plan Baggy hatches is to go on their honeymoon since the trip to Hawaii is booked and paid for. Thus begins a truly funny and romantic adventure on the Island for the 3 of them. Roxy has a fantastic time with a chauffeur, come bartender, come general handyman around the place. It is a beautiful romance that develops and the story is a wonderful read. I loved it a lot. I was really happy with that story but then I saw the second story, Ruthie's story, next. It is even funnier, involves another Fantasy Island tale around Roxy and Kai's wedding in Hawaii. This tale revolves around Ruth in that she is approached by a fellow who wants to do a film for the internet around her crazy accidental life. TJ overheard her telling stories about the funny accidents she had with her car. This leads to another hilarious tale following Ruthie on an Island cruise. It is another wonderful read, funny and with it's own Baggy influences in it too. I truly grew to love Baggy in this one. The third tale in this set is about Ruthie's wedding and is centered around Lizzie. Lizzie is approached by the film maker, TJ, to go to Ruthie's wedding and try to ensure it goes off without a hitch. Of course there will be hitches as that is what TJ likes to have. The biggest hitch is the large hurricane type storm heading toward's the Island on course to interrupt the wedding by hitting Antigua on Ruthie's big day! Another truly wonderful tale. I liked Ann's writing before I found this boxed set of three, but now I love her writings. These books are each a great read on their own. I think there would be some good ones to come out of Baggy's adventures too. Great reads, Ann! Wonderful comedic romances.

Getting Lei'd I thoroughly enjoyed this and would have happily kept reading if it was even longer. I adore romantic comedies. The more outrageously laugh-out-loud they are, the more I love them. Watching as Kai and Roxy fell in love was utterly adorable. And the cast of eccentric secondary characters stole the show. There are even a few of the supporting cast I would love to see in stories of their own. Cruising for Love Reality TV is my guilty pleasure. After reading this book, I feel extra guilty about it now. I love a second chance, so I was particularly excited to see one of those hiding in Ruthie’s story. This book is filled with twists, surprises, and lots of funny moments. Unfortunately, it’s also got a heavy Mean Girl vibe that I wasn’t really a fan of. However, I adore the way the story wraps up – it’s perfectly Ruthie. Island Hopping This book starts out looking like a simple case of opposites attract, but Lizzie and Shay’s story is a little more involved than merely the driven Type-A city girl meets the laid-back surfer. Their misadventures are filled with snark and spice, and they show us Murphy’s Law hard at work. At the end of this trilogy I’m left wondering if the author has a bit of a vindictive streak with how ruthlessly she wields the question: “so what really is the absolute worst that could happen?” There are some seriously creative possibilities in answer to that question in here. I kind of hope we get to come back and visit these characters again sometime in the future. I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout.

Getting Lei’d is an outrageously entertaining book. I loved the characters and the easy flow of the story. Omasta’s writing really lets you picture the tropical paradise. The reality show production shines a light on all the very-staged scenes and uber-edited dialogue. If you are a reality TV show junkie, this might change your mind! It was hard not to laugh, but it was really easy to be disgusted with the reality behind reality TV shows. In Island Hopping, the fun and humor come in the form of reality TV hijinks and Murphy’s Law situations that arise in the days leading up to the wedding. Island Hopping is a light-hearted romantic comedy that nicely wraps up the series of standalones. This fun novella provides a tropical escape in the dead of winter.

I loved every one of the books in this collection so it stands to reason I'd love having them in one, convenient bundle. From Roxy's zany un-honeymoon escape to Hawaii, through Ruthie's reality TV romance cruise through Ruthie's exotic tropical island wedding where things come full circle and Lizzie, the best friend for whom Roxy's fiance let her at the alter via text message, steps in and saves Ruthie's wedding from all the disasters Mother Nature and a devious TV producer can concoct, this seri I loved every one of the books in this collection so it stands to reason I'd love having them in one, convenient bundle. If you're a fan of exotic islands, silly stories and romance that sweet, funny and a little spicy, you really need this collection.

A wonderful, fun, romantic comedy trilogy with great characters in warm settings. Getting Lei’d. 5 stars A fun and enjoyable island romantic comedy. I loved the characters and the setting and the storyline. Though simple, it was great. Cruising for Love. 5 stars Hilarious. So much humor. Incredible! Loved the storyline and the characters. Ruthie is even better than made out the first book! Twists and turns galore! Not a clean book, but a must read for sure. I laughed, cried, rolled my eyes, got mad and more as the H and h of each story had to deal with certain real life events and circumstances that are beyond their control and have to make some important decisions, sometimes with the push of a crazy family member. Ann Omasta is a very talented writer and she has once again shone that talent with each book included in this box set. This is a very enjoyable set that I would highly recommend to readers who are looking for some fun and maybe to just get away, when you can't actually get away right now for real.

Good value from this author. This is a three-book boxset: Getting Lei’d, Cruising for Love, and Island Hoping, some I had read previously. These stories are about two sisters, Roxy and Ruthie and their best friend Lizzie. The stories themselves are light, full of humour with some romance. I won’t report on each one, you have the blurb for that and many other reviews. I found this set enjoyable and entertaining. I am sure I will read it again. When you feel like escaping these are the books to read. These are well written romantic reads all based in a tropical location. All three books could be read as stand-alone but are best read in order. I have to say my favorite was the first 'Getting Lei'd' only due to Baggy's character. What an entertaining and funny set of books! Each book features a woman that has her own story of meeting Mr. Right on a beautiful tropical island. Personally, I am not sure what is better the reason for the getaway to the island or the new romances that are found. If you enjoy a really good story with great characters with lots of humor, this is a good collection to pickup. Enjoy Roxy, Ruth and Lizzie's stories. This is a great trio of complex and humorous romance in colorful settings. Fun local situations mix with miscommunications and some loves that just work out anyways - and others that just don’t, usually in epic fail sorts of ways. If you enjoy a chuckle along with romance, this should be a great trio of reads for you! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
