This story was about friendship, struggles, dealing with the past, revenge, and relationships. I liked the main characters because they were all super independent women. 3/4 of them weren't married or seriously dating and were all independently successful. The characters were strong. The women had a wonderful bond deeply rooted in their past experiences. They met at a self defense class. The women had a wonderful bond deeply rooted in their past experiences. They met at a self defense class. As the story goes on, the characters face turmoil over their past and their secrets as they seek revenge on those that have harmed them. The story kept my interest for the most part. There were a few twists I didn't see coming. The ending was wild. I was glad to see it end as such. The biggest issue with this book is the errors in grammar/ punctuation. The dialogue was often filled with errors in quotation marks. There were a few grammar issues as well. The quote issues did make it confusing a little when reading. I had to read carefully to see who was talking and what was being said out loud and what was description. It didn't take much away from the story.
