Sorceress Super Hero Series: Books 1-3 (Urban Fantasy Box Set)

The mess all started when I punched a 400-year-old fairy reality TV star in the throat. Things got really weird from there. Before I could blink, I was trying to save the world alongside a 2,000-year-old immortal who wields a piece of Noah's Ark, fighting flesh-eating monsters that are supposed to only be urban legends, and hunting down a magical superhero gone rogue. All while struggling to pay my bills, not get evicted, not get fired from my job, and not exposing the hidden magical world. My name is Sage Hawthorne: butt-kicking sorceress, professional bodyguard, amateur superhero, and occasional screwup. For the world's sake, let's hope I don’t screw any of this stuff up. Bit grim This isn’t book1-3 as it is a new series in a existing world. I didn’t know that and haven’t read the other hero books. There was generally enough background to make that possible but I’m sure I missed things. This hovers towards slapstick humour but the backstories are painful due to significant trauma. Lots of people die. Plus there are characters betrayals and I’m not sure if beyond a talking cape anyone is likeable.

Really really good books I am now following Mr. Brasher. I'll have to read more of his fantasy books to make sure this isn't a one off😝 He wrote so well in the voice her voice that i had to check the authors name a few times. My only complaint is that he tended to talk a little too much at times when i was ready for more action and two character conversations. Really really good books I am now following Mr. Brasher. Great series This was a great series ,so far! I'm glad I got all 3 books at once because when you read the first ine you want to continue until you've read them all! I really enjoyed all the characters and loved how they weren't perfect. Loved the dynamics of the ongoing storyline and plot twists and turns. More, many more , books please! Excellent Books, He delivers again! I have no idea how I stumbled into finding this author. But I am in love. Great books, well developed characters. And funny content with enough action and movement to keep me coming back.

Good trilogy. This series grew on me. At first I didn't like how bratty the main character was, but as I got deeper into the series she grew up some and I liked the books more. Love the sarcastic remarks. I'm hoping a 4th book comes out soon. Good trilogy. This series grew on me. Fun read. Likeable hero, surprising plot twists, in a just different enough universe. A little slow at the start, but picks up steam.
