Just a bit too pious and preachy for me The plot itself was good but it got turned into a pious, preachy sermon like work. Okay we (well most of us believe in God in some shape or form) don't really want to have religion force fed to us. Shame as the underlying plot was really good. A dying man bequeaths a book to the Pastor. A special first edition valuable book which he stores in the basement of his church in a wooden box (wouldn't a safe have safer?). A dying man bequeaths a book to the Pastor. A special first edition valuable book which he stores in the basement of his church in a wooden box (wouldn't a safe have safer?). The book is stolen but references to it come from surprising sources. Including a visiting pastor who seems to be fleecing the crowds. Can out trio find the book and expose a cold blooded conman?

Crime but no wedding Molly and Dora are always on call to help people in their community. This time, Papa Julian, their pastor needs them. He has been called to bedside of a dying parishioner who gives Papa a very valuable, very old book for safekeeping. It gets stolen from the church's basement. A mystery to solve. Great story.
