I tried to like this book, I really did. I slogged through it, hoping it would at least have a satisfying ending, but nope. The action in the story was painfully repetitive. I didn't care about any of the characters, I didn't even dislike anyone all that much, they were all two-dimensional. The story itself was absurd, rife with eyeroll-inducing cliches. But the very worst part of this book was the ending. It was pointless, preachy, and just plain stupid. I tried to like this book, I really did. This book was interesting from the fist sentence. This was a spooky fun read which I could not put down. I had planned to read this in four days. Did I last four days you ask? Well no because I was so immersed in the story that I lost track of time and space. I finished this book in two day and only because I had to sleep and eat. The story was about a girl running from a past relationship to a dangerous man and she ends up working in a haunted house. Classic spooky I enjoyed this mainly for the traditional "feel" of the tale. The entire thing has a vibe of an age old spooky yarn, with some modern twisty violence thrown in for a good jump! I think there are a couple of surprises along the way as well, I know some caught me, which made it all the better. Enjoy! Classic spooky I enjoyed this mainly for the traditional "feel" of the tale. Satan, witch, murder and brutality! I did not enjoy this book atLl! I like supernatural mysteries but I like more reality truth to it. I, am , also not a fan of the “F” Word! I kept thinking the book might get better but finally gave up just reading every other paragraph! Read if you must but remember you are warned👅

Left me on the edge. Enjoyed the story . It left me anxious about the next twist in the plot. Made the impossible real and caused me to cheer for Sarah and the and the mess she got herself into.

Good Ghost Mystery I wasn't too sure about this book at first but once I got into the story I was hooked. Good verses evil. Every book, story or movie I've read or seen ends the same way. God wins. Good Ghost Mystery I wasn't too sure about this book at first but once I got into the story I was hooked. Good verses evil. Every book, story or movie I've read or seen ends the same way. Ok thriller This book was just a bit far fetched for my enjoyment. It was well written and the characters acceptable. Sarah in particular was very real. I think I got a little lost I’m the repeated scenes in the forest. Not bad, just not my kind of read.

Review This was an interesting book. Scary thoughts and mixed up theology but worth a read. Needs some more editing. I read this part of a series.
