Especially when she left and didn’t tell JJ anything then changed her number... I was like dang girl; you could’ve told that boy your family moved away. But we can still be friends even though; I will well we both will miss each other. & for one thing; she shouldn’t have gotten with Tristin at all like I already knew he wasn’t the one... she literally wasted her senior year, freshman and half of her sophomore year on a piece of trash...that didn’t care about her or her feeling the way JJ did.... she was just too blind to see I just don’t understand how people get with ignorant people who control there every move; but bypass the good ones. You already know when your family doesn’t like that person; that person isn’t good for you at all. It’s like the same with one of my family members how no one in the family likes the guy she dates he is just a horrible person. But people stay with people often because they love them or think that’s the right relationship for them. That’s what Quinn did she wanted to saddle for something she thought was good for her but wasn’t. I was glad when she got rid of Tristan once JJ told her to drive up there to she wack job pony boy who cheated on her with so many women & didn’t even care about seeing her was a trash bag he was... I was glad when she finally realizes she wanted JJ the way he wanted her since 8th grade - 15-year-old boy that fell in love with her at first sight.... she got on my nerve ignoring her feelings though I understood why she didn’t want the feelings though she got it due to the fact her family was in the army and what led to her feeling or trust etc.... but I did thought it was cute how they went back to the fair and he asked her to marry him and two weeks later had a country wedding at the “fairground”... But I also was curious about his baby; which suck that the baby died such a sad feeling. It’s good that he had changed through everything that happened. I tell you he couldn’t have gotten where was at if it wasn’t for his best friend Conner.... because he had his back through everything.... plus I thought it was dope how throughout middle and high school they played football together... then college; afterward ended up drafted on the same team... that’s brotherly love ❤️ right there... But at least in the end Jeremiah aka JJ got the girl of his dreams.... btw that I was so curious as to what JJ stands, for now, I know “Jeremiah Jasper” which I still say is a horrible name **cough*** his middle name not his first!!!!

I did, but there was no convincing JJ. JJ's MOM: "Son, there are three people you should never lie too because they see everything: Santa, Jesus and your mother. Just remember that. Without thinking, I grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the booths set up with a hundred different carnival games. Ring toss. Pop the balloon. Knock down the bottle tower. You name it, the fair had it. For the next two hours JJ and I blew a hundred bucks of his money on carnival games and I was introduced to a side of JJ I'd never seen before. JJ has opened doors for me. Relieved me of heavy loads. Volunteered to do the worst chores so I wouldn't have to. Been chivalrous almost to the point of being straight up old-fashioned. But when it came to carnival games, it was all over. The boy I'd come to think of as a sweet friend morphed into the cocky competitor I'd assumed home to be that first day of eighth grade. Because she was mine. She'd always been mine. Every second of every day since the moment I met Quinn, she was mine and I was hers. Tonight, I was hers. QUINN: "I love you, too." JJ: "Quinn Butler." His lips found mine in a brush of a kiss. "New girl." Again. "Princess." His voice broke and he kissed me again before meeting my gaze with hungry, loving eyes. "I have always loved you. Before I knew you, I loved you. And I will always never stop loving you." JJ: "I love you so much. Which is why I have a question to ask you." Quinn gasped as I released her hands and reached into the pockets of my cargo shorts and withdrew a small black box. I opened lid and held it out for her to see, enjoying the way her eyes widened with surprise. QUINN: "JJ-" she began, but it wasn't quite her turn yet. JJ: "Hold your horses, Princess. I gotta ask first." She squinted her eyes at me making me laugh. "Quinn, Princess, I've known since the moment I spotted that gorgeous head of blonde hair when I was fifteen years old, that you were the one for me. We've gotten off track, and there were times I thought I'd lost you. But I never could because this, us, we are meant to be. Forever, I am yours and you are mine. Will you make it true and marry me?" My girl's eyes sparkled with tears. As she threw her arms around me. "Yes! I love you, JJ. Yes, I will marry you." And she did, on this very fair ground, in a country wedding two weeks later because there was no way I was leaving my girl behind.

Saved the best for last! Man I can not think of any words to do it justice! The characters are so sweet and wholesome that you get lost in their story right from the get go. There are fantastic highs and lows and twists throughout the whole story. You find yourself smitten with the two MCs both as individuals as well as a couple. Throughout the story I found myself, chuckling, gasping and smiling like a loon the whole time. I didn’t think the stories could get any better but they do! We deal with a Saved the best for last! Super cute and easy read that I’ll go back to time and time again!

ok, this one was my favourite!! for reals this time!! i may or may not have cried a little — it’s just too cute and i loved the baby animals and the time jumps and even though i hated the time apart, the character growth was very obvious and the epilogue made everything worth it!! and SHE apologized!! i’m so sick of the guy always needing to apologize for like, seven chapters, but here we see both of them apologizing and confessing!! so adorable and heartbreaking and sweet! ——— series rating: 1, ok, this one was my favourite!! for reals this time!! i may or may not have cried a little — it’s just too cute and i loved the baby animals and the time jumps and even though i hated the time apart, the character growth was very obvious and the epilogue made everything worth it!! and SHE apologized!! i’m so sick of the guy always needing to apologize for like, seven chapters, but here we see both of them apologizing and confessing!! so adorable and heartbreaking and sweet! ——— series rating: 1, Don’t Pretend You Love Me (Connor and Allie) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 2, Don’t Forget About Me (Dylan and Eden) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3, Don’t Kiss Me Breathless (Jamie and Bailey) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4, Don’t Leave Me Behind (JJ and Quinn) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

2.5 stars, but J.J rounded it up to a 3 for me. My least favorite in this series. I felt like it wasn’t very smooth. I liked that the end was after college, most books stop way earlier. I didn’t like the conflicts. But I’ve loved J.J since book 1. So I was happy to read his story. I don’t understand the couple of swear words in this one? To my recollection there’s weren’t any in the first three, and these were even new characters. Hearing Conner swear in this one felt weird when he didn’t in his 2.5 stars, but J.J rounded it up to a 3 for me. My least favorite in this series. I felt like it wasn’t very smooth. I really enjoyed the final book of the Perks/Just Don't series. Compared to the other titles of the series this one gives a lot more story starting in middle school and taking us all the way into college -- epilogue goes even further. This quick read can be read on its own or as part of the series. But if you enjoy this title and have not done so already, read book 1 which is my favorite of the series. I love this series (especially Allie and Connor’s story!!) but this book seemed to be lacking the magic spark I found in the others. I enjoyed it enough to finish it but i had a hard time connecting to the characters and I felt like the story was overly complicated for what it was. It either needed to be longer and more developed or simplified.

It took them FOREVER to finally get together. I was so relieved and happy when they finally started dating. In this book just like the others, the proposal was my favorite part. These two deserved to be together.

Really enjoyed this series Stephanie Street really knows how to write her characters. She is a new author to me and I really liked this series. Can’t wait to read more. PS thanks for not cursing in your books. Your characters get the point across without them as would most if authors would write them that way.

I liked it and I didn't like it. I think JJ deserved better than Quinn, she had attitudes that weren't necessary and judge him many times when he didn't give her any reasons to. I'm just glad that in the end she was the one that toke that final step, it was her turn after all I liked it and I didn't like it. Quinn & JJ’s story! JJ who we loved from book one and it was a nice story to read. I liked that this novella had a long timeline between the couple. And also, I enjoyed that these characters had to deal with lots of emotional growth before getting together.

Worth the Wait Fab way to end the series. Glad JJ got his own book, liked his character from the first book. The storyline was interesting and flowed really well. This series could go on and on. Loved them.
