My introduction to this author was the Steele Security series, Wicked Games to be exact and Noah (the hero in it) just so happen to be the brother of Silas. So you can imagine I have been anxiously waiting for Silas to have his book for quite some time. Let me tell you it was worth the wait. I don't know how this author does it, but her books get better and better with each one. This book was a page turner that caused me to get no sleep because I simply couldn't put it down until I hit the end. And when I got there I just wanted to reread it again I was so engrossed in these characters' lives. Always original, with twists you do not see coming, some hot and steaminess, some mystery, and even some humor that will have you in tears from laughing, this author just knows how to hit all the right spots!!! Can't wait to get the next one in this series!! Review by Tabitha

I like my life as it is—uncomplicated with a lot of freedom to do as I please. Roaming from shore to shore or anywhere around the globe at a moment’s notice doesn’t exactly lend to a happy home. In fact, a serious relationship isn’t even anything I’ve ever seriously considered before. “I’m glad you’re having such a good time at my expense. You’ll pay for this later in a very painful way.” He just laughs it off like he does most everything else, then follows up with a shit-eating grin. The bad thing about Shadow is he’s a damn good CIA officer himself, with an uncanny ability to see through others, even those who are deep undercover. Knowing he’s actively trying to probe my mind through watching my body language is a little unsettling. I don’t like being on this side of the equation…and the bastard knows it. By the time we finish breakfast and head toward Noah’s office, we have additional visitors and even more backup for the major trap we’re laying for our friendly senator and his partners. Nick, Roman, and Brad arrive with Savannah, Mira, and more kids in tow. We stop in the foyer to greet everyone and chat before disappearing into our version of a war room. “If all else fails, at least we can build our own army with all these kids around here. They may be more effective than we are anyway. When are you and Elle having kids, Shadow? We may need to start recruiting them sooner rather than later.” I turn my attention to my friendly adversary. A look passes between the couple after my question—Elle is aggravated, and Shadow is uncomfortable. There is no way in hell I’m letting him off the hook with this one. She’s ready for kids, and he’s not quite there yet. Time to stoke the fire under his ass and use it to my advantage in every way possible. “Uh, we’re in active, hostile negotiations about that very sensitive topic right now. Let’s not muddy the waters by bringing that into our more immediate plans.” I’ve literally never seen Shadow nervous in this way before. I really like it. There were so many "Blurred Lines" in this story, holy smokes!! He has an unusual relationship with Kira's dad, but he promised to find her/Mira and make sure they're safe. When Silas and Kira meet, oh my stars!! That, for me, is where the story took off and I didn't want to put it down!! So much electricity between them, but can he trust her? Should he trust her? The same goes for Kira! Silas is so hot and offers things that make sense to her, but maybe she's too trusting because her family is involved? Great story that is action-packed, hot, twisty turny story with amazing characters!!

Espionage, intrigue, suspense...Kira and Silas’s story definitely kept me in my toes. How can two spies from rival countries know the other’s feelings are true? Especially when they’re masterfully trained in the art of betrayal and deceit. Well, that’s when Kira and Silas have to take a leap of faith. I’m excited to start Roman’s story. His and Tawnee’s sounds like it’s gonna be a heckuva ride!!

An Epic Read! I've bee a fan of AD Justice's books for a long time and her Steele Security series has been at the top of my favorites list for years, especially Wicked Ties. Silas and Kira's story is the perfect blend of emotion, espionage, and family (or friends you choose as family). This series is a spin-off of Ms. Justice's Steele series, so many of the characters are old friends, giving the reader an update on all the couples in the previous books. I love romantic suspense books and it's been a while since I've read one as well-crafted as Blurred Line. Ms. Justice has a knack for blindsiding her poor alphas with a woman who is every bit their equal and giving the men a run for their money when they weren't expecting it. Her characters are well-developed and her plot is tight and laced with humorous banter. Opposites attract and you can't be much more opposite than a Russian spy and a CIA operative. Pulled into a situation that neither of them can predict or control, the chemistry between Silas and Kira adds another complication to what could blow up into an international incident and cost both of them their lives. The sizzling sexual tension between the couple practically leaps off the page, which adds to an already tense storyline and pulling the reader into the story and holding them at the edge of their e-reader. So many things happen in this book and I refuse to spoil a single one. Suffice it to say, Silas got more than he bargained for and things he didn't even realize he wanted. I loved this book and can't wait for the next book in the series.

After the twins were separated, Kira fears that her sister is in danger and if she doesn't do everything she is told to do, then she will be killed, she has no idea that she is being watched. Silas Steele is a CIA agent who at first I had a hard time understanding, and understanding the relationship he has with the twin's father. After promising their father that he would find them and make sure they were safe. He's been watching Kira for some time now.. After Kira and Silas meet.. Wow.. These two were intense from the moment they met. Insanely intense. The chemistry between the two was enough to melt my kindle. As the book progressed, the plot got thicker for these two. Both struggling to trust one another, yet they couldn't help but be drawn to each other. So much happens in this book, and it had my head spinning, and I loved it. It was full of the unexpected, plot twists and turns that I did not see coming and after Kira and Silas met, I just couldn't get enough. I didn't put it down. Be prepared for one hell of a ride! 5 Stars

We get a book that is addicting and one that will make your heart full. Highly recommended.

The description of the political climate and danger just walking down the street behind the iron curtain had me feeling more than a bit anxious. Silas navigates the treacherous visit with skill and ease as a career CIA operative. That's just the first of many scenes that got my blood pumping and the pages turning as story unfolds. There are so many twists and turns, it's complex and near impossible to describe but it all makes sense as your weaving your way through right along with Silas and Kira. Blurred Line is the second in the Crossing Lines series told from the dual pov of Silas and Kira. This book stands on its own within in a universe that's been built over the previous Steele Security series and the first book in in this series, Fine Line. I've read them all and enjoyed them, Silas has made appearances in those books but we're really getting to know him here in his book. The other Steele guys and spouses and children and close family friends make appearances in this book and show Silas as the big goofy Uncle that I was happy to see. He is a very serious guy in his normal daily job, but he's been shaken by a chance meeting with Kira's twin Mira that leads him down a path that may cost him everything if he's not extremely careful. Kira is his lightening bolt and it's wonderful to be in his head as they fall in love while navigating seemingly impossible waters. There is a very real and serious topical element that is handled with raw transparency that breaks my heart and brings me just that much deeper into the heart of the story. This book is so much more than a romance novel. I've been thinking about it a lot since finishing, there are so many twists to keep me going over it again and again. 4.5 stars

Silas has finally met his match in Kira. She intrigues him with her beauty, manner and wit. There is more to Kira than anyone knows and Silas is determined to help her. This is an emotional story with great characters. You also meet some characters from other books but this one is able to standalone. I liked that Kira could tame the wild Silas and he could love her like no one else. Another wonderful read. I received a copy of this book and am leaving a review.

There were even several twists that I thought I saw coming but were wrong, so that just makes things even better for me when I don’t figure them out. Then things changed in the story slightly and it really felt as if the author became rushed or just really forgot what was happening from one chapter to the next. Yes, she did cover things in the last chapter prior to the epilogue. This ended up being another issue as the last chapter really should have been labeled epilogue and the epilogue a preview of the next book in the series. I unfortantanly am unable to give it the five star rating that the book can clearly have because of the choppy and rushed ending. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

She will do anything for her sister even giving up her own life and when she gets caught by CIA agent Silas she knows she is headed back to her mother country to die. Silas has always been the biggest at the kid's table, a goofball, an all-around light-hearted guy. So I loved everything in this book that involved him, he made serious situations fun and was such a hit with all his nieces and nephews. When he and Kira are together you could feel the chemistry. I think we should have a Steele reunion book I can't get enough of everyone.

I absolutely loved Blurred Lines, the next installment of A.D. Justice’s Crossing Lines series. I loved seeing the different sides of Silas, because in the Steele Security series he always seemed so uptight. So it was nice seeing the different sides of him: funny, romantic, sweet, HOT (the spa and ocean scenes, you’ll need to fan yourself). Of course, the whole Steele Security group is back including the unforgettable Liz. What she does to Silas, will make you laugh til you cry. Blurred Lines kept my attention from start to finish and I’m looking forward to Roman’s story! I received an authors copy but I have left an honest review.

OHHH Do the lines get blurry in this book and oh for the best! I was intrigued by Silas ever since you first meet him which was WAY back. But boy did he blow me away with this story. How fierce he loves not just for Kira but for his country. Kira is the enemy but one that only wants the best in the long run as she was thrown into this life not by choice. Their connection was evident right from the start. But what I loved is how Kira matched Silas in every way. What I loved about this book was the suspense aspect of it. It was unique with a lot of twists and turns that keep you on your toes. You also get the whole Steele crew as well which is a massively added bonus. I love the interaction between all of them as well as the flow of the story. This story was amazing and I found I could not put it down. I highly recommend it because Justice writes amazing stories that are one of a kind!

Blurred Lines is as riveting as is captivating. You get it all. The drama, fear, uncertainty, hope, love, and intrigue that grabs your attention from the beginning. Silas Steele, a CIA operative, who is top in his field and plays by the rules until Kira Petrov, a Russian spy. Silas goes rogue with Kira to take down a human trafficking ring. He has the help of Steele Security along with his team to help bring the Russian mafia to justice. Everything is not what it seems. Someone has been watching Silas undetected as he’s been watching Kira all these years. He knows Silas’s secret. This person is trying to avenge his brothers murder by taking someone close to Silas. Kira has been taken to Russia where she will face her imminent death for crossing lines as a traitor. After clearing his name with the deputy director, Silas, master of disguises, leaves for Russia to save his Kira. Will he get there in time? 💋 Awesome read! A.D. did a fantastic job with this book as with the Cross Lines Series. I highly recommend.💞

I had been waiting for Silas’ book forever and was not disappointed when it finally arrived. Silas is the ultimate Alpha, the one everyone follows. He seems like a machine, doing what’s right, yet this book shows different sides to him that weren’t visible before. We get to see him as the romantic, the funny, the family man, and all this is made more apparent with Kira on the scene. She is just the woman he needs to unlock all the potential to be “human” that he was hiding. This book had a little of everything; funny moments, drama, family time, love, and enough chemistry between Silas and Kira to be explosive. The one thing that I will say was a bit confusing was the ending. I felt like the last chapter should’ve been labeled as the Epilogue because the actual “Epilogue” turned out to be a snippet of the next book. Once again, the story is well-written, with a plot that flows at a great pace, keeping readers entertained and at the edge of their seat.

Blurred Line by A.D. Justice is another 5 star read. Honestly any of her books surrounding the Steele Security members is a gold mine. This book had me on the edge of my seat while I was reading it. There was so much action and suspense, I was nervous to keep reading because I wasn’t sure what the next page would give me. Silas is a career CIA / NSA agent with many contacts to help me with just about any issue. The forever bachelor finds himself glued to Kira, a Russian spy. This book had everyt Blurred Line by A.D. The author gets a plus for including Noah, Bull, Bri, Shadow, Roman and the rest of the team. So happy to have Liz back and in full effect. Cannot wait for more!!

This is the second book in the Crossing Lines series. It can be read as a standalone and has some crossover characters. This is a suspenseful romance about about Russian & American spies, who may or may not have a common cause. I love the whole CIA/KGB/GRU aspect because you never know who's lying, or what agenda they have. Silas is a seasoned CIA operative who is “helping an asset” for his own gain. I enjoyed the story, which had a slower pace in the first half but was a bit of a nail biter for me in the second half. Looking forward to Hard Lines, the prequel of which was included in my copy. I received a copy of this book. My honest review is voluntarily provided.

(4.5) At the end of this book A.D. Justice notes that Silas was a PITA to write. I understand! When I started reading this book, I was like come on Silas. I was starting to think Silas had no soul, no compassion, just a machine. I watched him evolve and Kira open it. I laughed out loud with the "French maid costume" - nope, no explanation, no spoilers here and I had tears rolling down my face as Kira faced issues had on towards the end. I had read book 1 in Crossing Lines and really enjoyed it. (4.5) At the end of this book A.D. Justice notes that Silas was a PITA to write. I understand! This book started off slow for unfeeling for me and ended with so many feelings and emotions that I had to chill. Thank you AD and Booksprout for the awesome opportunity to read this arc. All thoughts and opinions are my own and were unsolicited.

Blurred Lines is book 2 in the Crossing Lines series but can be read as a standalone novel but reading book 1 can help with understanding the back story. Silas, a CIA agent, falls hard for a Kira, a woman who he should never have wanted, a Russian spy. Their chemistry was immediate and palpable. Kira and Silas seem to have been made for each other, despite also being natural should be enemies. One of my favorite parts of this book is Kira's equality to Silas. The evolution of the relationship was crafted so well by A.D. Justice that I couldn't put it down. I would recommend this book to anyone.
