Got this for 99 cents and was excited to read it as it featured women in STEM. So why I am I not finishing it? Great storyline, serious issues and good characters. But it just felt like it was skimming the surface and didn't get deep enough. Also, it was fade to black and I love me some smut. Others might connect better. Great set of romances based around heroines who are smart and career-driven. I read each as they were published individually and just sped through them but regretted when I finished. Here are my comments on each: Remedial Rocket Science 5 stars A fantastic, smart, cute and witty heroine moves cross-country and re connects with rich, handsome Jeremy, a one-time hook-up. Her journey includes recovering from guilt and loss and finding her way to happiness in a totally new job and social environment. Intermediate Thermo-Dynamics 5 stars Great story, likable characters, realistic situations. I wanted to hurry and finish to learn if the heroine achieved her HEA but I loved the writing and characters so much I did not want it to end. Esther was a realistic but flawed heroine with neighbor, friend, family and work life problems that I could relate to. Her fear of becoming vulnerable and facing rejection led her to some shaky decisions. Good thing she had a supportive brother and friends to help her make some hard choices and help jet confront her fears. I loved it and highly recommend Susannah Nix and her novels. I received an advance copy of this book from the author; this is my voluntary and honest review. Advanced Physical Chemistry 5 stars 💞Will the sexy☕ barista help Penny break her romantic losing streak?!💕 March 15, 2018 Format: Paperback I loved this story! Heroine chemist/patent reviewer Penny seems relationship-challenged despite her ability to make friends with just about anyone. Her brave attempt to break her losing streak with handsome barista Caleb from her neighborhood coffee shop is out of character and leads to some major angst for both her and Caleb. Expect some steam along with gallons of meaningful glances across the coffee bar. I really got attached and wanted their badly-timed relationship to somehow resolve happily. Both of the MCs are endearing and Caleb has managed to turn out a shy and kind human being despite an awful upbringing. Their story is so well-written that it was over before I knew it. I wanted their HEA but I also wanted more time with them. This is the third novel I've read by Ms Nix and I've never been disappointed. The fact that all of her heroines are smart and science-minded women who don't ignore their friends for the latest man in their life is a bonus. I am so glad I came across her work and can't wait for the next. I read a complimentary advance copy of the book and this is my voluntary and honest review.

I am, as always, in awe to author Susannah Nix. She writes her heroines as strong intelligent geeky women who falls for the most infuriating but interesting men. Men who are, when you get to know them, just magnifisent. Here is my reviews of the three books in this collection: Book 1: Remedial Rocket Science This is a humorous and intriguing romantic comedy. When you read it you can't help falling in love with the characters. The plot is original and well written. The chemistry and interaction bet I am, as always, in awe to author Susannah Nix. Book 2: Intermediate Thermodynamics This is a intriguing and seductive read which made me root for a beautiful HEA all the way through. The chemistry and interaction between Jonathan and Esther is sizzling and humorous. They are complex and enjoyable characters, that you fall in love with immediately. Book 3: Advanced Physical Chemistry Author Susannah Nix has a knack for writing entertaining and sweet love stories with enjoyable characters that display their feelings and let their insecurities shine through in their actions and thoughts. And this is no exeption. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book.

My review for Advanced Physical Chemistry: This book was light and fun and I enjoyed it so much. It’s nice to have a heroine that’s real... not skinny, not quiet, but who has made mistakes. And a hero who has his own realistic issues is also nice. It wasn’t too angsty and it didn’t force the conflict, the book just unfolded and made me smile and made me swoon. Loving this author. I love a smart, strong heroine and Olivia is definitely that. Adam is so nerdy but cute. The way they come together is a twist on a road trip trope with a side of tropical storm mixed in. It was a fresh take on the romance novel and it made me smile to read it. Looking forward to more from this author!

I love this series! It touches on series issues in an enjoyable way (while still giving the topics the respect they deserve). All of Nix’s characters are so unique, but also so real; they feel like people you know in real life, who are far from perfect, but you love them anyways. Not to mention, the STEM heroines are really empowering for all women and girls. The romances are so well done, I truly recommend this series for anyone looking to read some romance about smart, relatable heroines!

I love this series so much, as well as the author. These are my comfort reads. The characters are real and relatable. Being married to an engineer, Susannah Nix definitely caught the essence of the science based mind in the current world. Absolutely worth reading! Also pick up her Rising Star and Falling Star books. They both deal with real issues and the emotional impact of those issues eloquently!

Susannah Nix creates characters that I can relate to (some more easily than others, granted), and her heroines are smart, strong, and witty, so I found it easy to root for these ladies. I appreciate that the characters (including the heroes) are not perfect, they all have their quirks and hang-ups. And I especially love the easy banter and the strong friendships. More, please!

Sweet, believable romance I’m on a romance kick lately, but these stories stand out because they have strong women who are real. The romance is believable. Our heroes are flawed but pretty, and our heroines don’t have to compromise who they are. Love these characters, love their stories. Oh, and sign up for the newsletter to get the bonuses...we get more depth to the characters.

I loved this series!!! It’s awesome to see strong independent women in the STEM field. The heroes are lovable yet beautifully flawed. Definitely worth the read if you love a good slow burn with great chemistry!

Love this whole series. Strong STEM field working and educated. women with lots of real weaknesses. Unrealistically hot guys who respect women. Not super smutty. Not a lot of lying or pretending to be someone they’re not. It’s great.

An interesting collection of romances about women with careers in STEM fields. The technology is sprinkled lightly in the stories while each woman deals with the problems that go along with dating and relationships.

I loved all three of these books. They were fun, face-paced reads with great characters. Smart women, who don't compromise who they are for their men. They are flawed individuals who you will want to get to know better. The guys they fall in love with are equally interesting and flawed, which makes for good reading. There is no instant love, and it isn't perfect, but you do get the sense that the love between the protagonists is real and lasting. Highly recommend.
