Oh wow, that was an entertaining read. It read like a crazy summer action blockbuster and was splendid for it. It was filled with action, intrigue and good ol' head bashing. As another reader put it, it was a great "popcorn read". The book contained quite a few grammatical errors but it could be chalked up to it being self-published. Don't let that detract you from the story though, Currie is a bonafide action/sci-fi author. Oh wow, that was an entertaining read. Reading Evan Curries' books is always a fight in my head: The stories are inspired, fresh, intriguing and I love where he tries to take me fantasy-wise. But then you have the practical side: the actual writing. The books contain grammatical errors and weird sentence constructions that, even as a non native, make it hard for me to keep on reading instead of throwing the book away. This book was even worse than usual. If the stories weren't that capturing I probably wouldn't even bother looking at them

Good story but desperately in need of a good editor A good conclusion to the trilogy that’s clearly a set up for a second series. Characterisation and story are nice and consistent. It honestly Looks like the writer didn’t even do a final read through of his writing, just hit save and export to Amazon. Bit surprising really as he’s normally a clean and solid writer. Good story, bad editing I really enjoyed the first two books in the series. The story in this one was just as good but the editing absolutely killed me. It took away from enjoying a cool story, even if Cap is a crayon eater...

Good read, but...... Good read but there was a lot of misspelled words and grammar errors. I had to stop a little to put some of the thoughts together.

In many ways, I wanted to enjoy this book, however I couldn’t take the the political marginalizing and the intention behind many of the statements in the novel, There were many mistakes in the book but the political tint was the most bothersome. I used to ignore it but I have found that it gets worse all the time. There is no “rise in the Nazi movement” there are incredibly few white supremacists. They hold a rally with ten members nationwide every 6 months or so in America.Hardly what anyone would call a movement. Less than 1% of the population have any sort of support for these people so do not equate that to hundreds of church burnings and constant assaults and rapes by middle easterners in Europe. There is a problem in Germany and other European countries but it is hardly because of white nationalists. There are just people that are not okay with rapid immigration of people’s who do not share their culture, beliefs, laws, language, and are heavily supported by national funds. If the marine, fought against Nazi members in all of Germany, he would make short work of the very few who showed up. Whereas you have multiple Islamic nations that support the destruction of people due to their race and religion. You ought to be ashamed and this idiocy spreads fear of a foe that does not exist. You would be surprised what a little fiction can do to the world.

Fast paced, quality addition to the story line I enjoyed the additional supers and how they were used to advance the "what happens/happened to the personality of a super" plot line. I also enjoyed the villain character advancement, down to the final rally of what could be in store next for the world and its new "super" state. I'm happy to go diving into the author's other offerings while I wait. Great conclusion to the series I'm really glad Evan Currie took a foray into the superhero genre. The characters grab you like they do in his other books and take you for a ride. My only complaint with this series is that it needs an editor. Lots of minor typos and wrong words, and not quite up to the quality of his other books. Even with those little annoyances, this trilogy is worth the read. Great conclusion to the series I'm really glad Evan Currie took a foray into the superhero genre. Semper Fi This book is non stop! From page one to the last will keep you on the edge of your seats. And being a Marine brat I can confirm everything said about Marines in general are true. The author obviously is a Marine or someone close to him is. Great story telling and even greater characters. Can't wait for the next book. The only thing I really didn't like was the abrupt ending. I read all three books in 3 days. I don't know how accurate the military terms are but this is an awesome series. Just dying to know what happens next!! As a character says, it less Marvel and more DC superhumans. If you love a good military/sci-fi/superhumans book. This is for you. I just hope Evan Currie is writing more now! Action packed! Great 3rd chapter Like an amazing superhero movie with some interesting insights into human nature. Needs to be edited as there are some spelling and other grammatical errors, but a fun and exciting read where our hero and heroine do their best to stay sane in an insane situation. Can’t wait for the next book in the series!

An EC. SYFY. Novel (S - 2: SF) EC. has. penned the second novel in the Superhuman series where the Marine Major with superhuman strength is assisting an SR-71 attempting to nuke the escaping space craft. They are able to eventually knock the alien craft from orbit and land the SR-71 on an aircraft carrier. This us an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

Great story, not ready for prime time Unlike the excellent first two books, looks like this version is a final draft before being sent to final proofing. The sheer number of spelling and grammatical errors actually breaks the fourth wall. Once cleaned up, this heart pounding story will outshine the first two.

Phooie Well that was a blast. Obviously this is not the end, it's just too open ended. Great action throughout. So what do you reckon has happened to Hale. Interesting. Perhaps the next book will supply the answers. Looking forward to the next book then, Evan Currie. I'm in need e a superhuman fix. So don't delay. Phooie Well that was a blast. Action packed and humorous as well Great book! Enjoyed the first two and can't wait for the next. Plenty of action, lots of humor, and enjoyable to read. Would like to see more of the original cast of characters. Hale is a bit too much like Superman. Still highly recommend the book. Action packed and humorous as well Great book! Best in series Loved the ebook was the best one in series so far. Looking forward to the next ebook. I hope the author continues the series and writes a new arc or just continues where he left off.

I loved it! It was a bit short but the best of the rash of Superhero books now being written nonetheless. Canadian Evan Currie, very tongue-in-cheek, really had fun with American military traditions and customs. This is really shaping up to be great series.

This needs to be made into a tv show!!! This book was fantastic. The pace, action, unpredictability, and most of all the hilarious insanity is absolutely overwhelming! It’s the most fun I’ve ever had while reading!

Exciting This is an exciting new military space opera. In this case though it currently is played out on earth. It’s hard to tell the good guys from the bed at this point. But it is a very exciting and interesting take on this genre.

Fun read. Good start to a bigger story. As military sci-fi goes, this series worked well. Retired Marine becomes a superhero, random humans gain mutant powers, alien tech wants to terminate life on Earth, planetary governments and military are all caught off guard and are scrambling to cope. End of this arc is ok, but disappointing. The conclusion to the trilogy of Superhuman where an ex-Marine becomes essentially Superman (minus the impossibility of a secret identity) works out ok, but it feels essentially like a "I need this to end" tome. The most interesting bits are the setting up of a massively superpowered mankind vs Saberhagen's Berserkers future series, so the trilogy basically wets up our appetites, but the concluding volume lets us thirsty. The basic story and plot are still fun and enjoyable. It's ridiculously over the top, and a bit too gun-ho american military lovin'. I'm even from the US and I'm still totally groaning. So basically this would be a 4 star except minus 1 star for how beyond the pale over the top it is in a few ways, and minus one star for the horrible lack of any copy editing. Misspellings are one thing, but the grammar and wrong word choices all over are kind of crazy. The basic story and plot are still fun and enjoyable. Good story but it's a bit unpolished. I really enjoyed the book but it needs another proof and edit cycle. The flow of the front half is a bit disjointed and the story telling us fantastical. Can't wait... Another great addition to this series. The probe is winding down its primary mission on earth and the marine is in the thick of the action that is happening in Europe. Fantastic action story. Perfect for hollywood A great story with a lot of action packed into these three books. Wish there was a fourth book, would love to see how the alien like going up against a whole planet of superheroes. And on that i think this series could go straight to the movies or has a series. Great job Evan!!

Entertaining Quick Read Not hard sci-fi, more sci-fi fantasy. However I can see a couple more in the series to complete the arc, (in his spare time) while knocking out more Odyssey One and Hayden War series novels that are required reading for me....

Action packed The story is really great, edge of the seat. The only distraction was a few words that did not fit, spellcheck errors. Other than that a very interesting and unique plot.
