Good story....but The story was very interesting....but again I found many mistakes. The mistakes were not made by the author. They were made by the publisher. The publisher should read every word of the story before it is released to the public.

Texas Ranger: A Western Adventure ( Captain Bates Book 1) Texas Ranger Rowdy Bates felt a true obligation to find out what happened to his Captian who had just seemed to face into thin air. He started to follow the very thin trail that was left. They say that when you go high into the mountains that you come back a changed man. Was he willing to go that far to find his friend? This was a great read. 👏BRAVO 👏👏😇

This story was a decent read. The characters were fun and the author incorporated lots of historical figures and locations into the story. I did find there were a lot of spelling errors and typos throughout the book. The book was still worth a read even though it is a bit annoying to find so many typos in a finished product. If your a fan of the western genre I think you will enjoy the book.

Captain bates One man travelling a long way to pay respect to his mentor and friend, an enjoyable story. Not any romance just getting to the nitty gritty of the tale, of course there's romance in life, but it can get so tedious in books. We read these stories to get away from all that , look forward to more captain bates. Captain bates One man travelling a long way to pay respect to his mentor and friend, an enjoyable story. Too raw for me. Good book but I wanted to quit reading but couldn't. Too much violence. Don't want to read any more in this series. Don't want to get used to so much killing. I'm just a wuss. I Read It It was fair story. It did not flow smoothly from chapter to chapter. I did like the final words of the book. Tomorrow is always beginning of the new chapter in anything.

It's interesting to read, your given some factual background about Wild Bill Hickok, whom some say was a stone killer and others say different, but he evidently was hell on wheels. Also we are introduced to Nat Love aka Deadwood Dick who told Captain Bates that Captain Creek was in Montana with Pretty Nose, a Cheyenne Chief whom he had been searching for. There was some folk lore mixed in with actual facts, but otherwise it mobbed pretty fast.
