This was a short, hot enjoyable read, but I have to say, the men from Gemma's pack were totally off putting, as they were written to be. The author did a good job of making me totally hate them and like Aiden even more for stepping up and being a real Alpha. I also liked that he knew Gemma was his mate, but let her come to him once he knew the abuse she had suffered with her old pack. I liked Gemma too. She had this horrible upbringing and an abusive father. She's human, but carries the wolf gene. The men are all bigger and can overpower her physically, but she doesn't let that stop her. She ran away and made it on her own until she had to find work for money and stumbles upon Aiden's business. She's a good, strong female MC who is not whishy washy and when she needs to make a hard decision, she makes it without too much hesitation. The steamy scenes were also super hot

This book is a quick yet enjoyable read. Personally I usually read books with more depth and a slower pace, but I know lots of readers who prefer this sort of book and there are times when you want a book you can read in one sitting. This style seems to be becoming more and more popular and I am pleased to say that this author is one of the few I have read who actually manages to make it work well. I would happily read more by this author. If you want to spend a couple of hours with a good book that you can completely read in the timeframe, this is the book for you.

Not ready for publication This was next to impossible to read. The editing is lacking, there are continuity issues that make it hard to follow, and the world-building and characterization just aren’t there at all. Throw in stilted dialogue and haphazard overuse of adverbs (He growled “lowly” to avoid his displeasure being heard, then shouted loudly in the same sentence) and this thing is a little all over the place. I applaud the author for writing a novel and like the basic idea for the plot, but the product here is just not polished enough in any way to hold a reader’s attention. If I had paid money (outside of my KU subscription, I would have demanded a refund.) I may give this author another try in a year or two. I love idea of the story, but the skill isn’t there yet.

Cute short story! I didn’t expect this story to be so short. We have Gemma who ran away from her dad who is an alpha who her so she can breed. She found herself applying to different types of jobs & constant moving afraid of being capture abt her dad. She found this secretary job where Aidan didn’t want a female secretary but a male. He felt something different in Gemma but couldn’t pin point it. This story is really short, I wish it was longer & somewhat give More info on the pack. It felt that Cute short story! Every time both alphas went out there was no one watching their backs.. it was like no packs existed. Very weird

This wolf shifter paranormal romance ticked off all the boxes for me. Hot and sexy. Steamy scenes. Alpha hero with a smug and protective attitude. Strong female lead. There's just enough angst, backstory, and plot to really fill in the story while also focusing on the main characters. I loved the chemistry between Aiden and Gemma. Definitely would continue to read more in this series and hope the other wolves find their mates too. Really enjoyed Claimed by the Alpha from start to finish. I really enjoyed this alpha story between Aiden and Gemma. Aiden – not sure if he would ever marry again after the death of his wife. Gemma, wanting to make a fresh start and escape her father and the contract for marriage to a mean Alpha. Two souls not just finding one another, but also saving each other. Lovely written and an excellent storyline. Would recommend, and cannot wait for the next book by this talented author.

Enjoyed the read I enjoyed the read. If you like short stories this one is pretty good. I love werewolf stories and am happy with the purchase of this book. Very interesting about certain females and wolves, I like the take on It and how the Stern wolf really cares for the female in this story.

This was a quick but hot read. I like that it wasn't a wham bam thank you ma'am approach, but rather the two MCs built up to it throughout the story. You could say the climax held two meanings! That's it for me trying to be funny, I promise. If you like pack shifters and destined mates give this one as try! This was a quick but hot read. I am cleaning out my shifter freebies this weekend so there are several of similar reviews. Claimed by the Alpha is book one in the Sanctuary series. You can also find it free in Kindle unlimited. The book is only 100 pages, so it’s a super short read. The book follows Gemma, a she-wolf running from her past and Aiden, alpha of the territory she ended up in.

Alpha werewolf I have this book a four on the basis that what it covered it did very well. Drives me nuts when the rescues\fights end so quickly and conveniently. It's not creditable for both protagonists would turn up alone and without a plan or pack support. That said a pretty good read to get the juices flowing. I love it.!! Very intense, romantic, steamy and with a very possessive alpha ready to protect his mate from her evil father who wants to give her away by doing contracts with another packs that doesn't respect women. The history of Emma and Aiden has a very happily ever after ending. I love it.!! Don’t know how this book got a 5 or a 4 or even a 3, from real readers. There was no back story not build up know character development no full description of a villain. Quick easy read jumping from scene to scene. The cover was the best part. This could have been so good. The concept was there with no follow through.

Quick and Interesting Read I thought the story was interesting. I wanted to know more about the 2 main characters. I think their backgrounds had depth and substance but the author didn't incorporate that into the story which did the book a disservice. Good read just short It’s a cute story with a happy ending, could have been much longer if they elaborated on the fight scenes between both Alpha’s and also when he decided to make John an alpha of the other pack. Plus the birth of the babies.

I didn't realize it was so short when I got it. It was alright for what it was. You didn't get to actually grow with a character. I won't be continuing this series. 😥 I didn't realize it was so short when I got it. It was alright for what it was. You didn't get to actually grow with a character.
