I finished Astrology IRL in one sitting and really loved reading it! It’s funny, straightforward, and very Internet-y–exactly the kind of book you’d race through in a flight or a waiting room. Scorpios suffer in most astrology predictions. We’re mostly just described as passionate and intense, thinking about murder all the time. That’s absolute bull. My Scorpion ass is mostly just a tightly wound ball of existential dread. And I think about murder only once every fortnight. And I think about murder only once every fortnight. The best part about this book is the writing. It doesn’t take itself seriously, and yet when it gives cosmic self-care tips, you want to listen. In all, Astrology IRL is a quick read that’s both funny and quite accurate. I recommend it to anyone who likes astrology or, like yours truly, checks predictions out just for the heck of it.

I wanted something quick and funny to read at the end of a hard day. This book made me laugh more than I was expecting and more than it probably should have. Given 3 stars rather than 4 because I think it went on a little too long for this kind of book. Worth a read if you're waiting at the hairdressers or like to read before you to go sleep but are too tired to follow a plot. I wanted something quick and funny to read at the end of a hard day.
