Thanks so much to Goodreads Giveaways & to Aladdin Hardcover for sending me this book. Also, a HUGE thanks to Helen Perelman for signing this book, it’s Cali Jean’s first book with an autograph and she is proud to have it! Maybe one day she will grow up to be a writer, too! Her recent favorite books have been anything and everything about Helen Keller. ( See my Instagram for a picture of her with the book.) This book was absolutely adorable as was the artwork by Olivia Chin Mueller. Princess Mini d Thanks so much to Goodreads Giveaways & to Aladdin Hardcover for sending me this book. Her recent favorite books have been anything and everything about Helen Keller. ( See my Instagram for a picture of her with the book.) This book was absolutely adorable as was the artwork by Olivia Chin Mueller. Princess Mini decides to have a sleepover with all of her friends on “Dragon’s Day” that is in honor of a great dragon that once lived in the Kingdom. She has the entire evening planned out,” We are going to play games, eat sweets, tell spooky stories, and stay up all night,” she tells her father, Prince Scoop. With enjoyable words like “sweet- tacular” and “sugar-tastic” you’ll be sure to have a sweet tooth after putting this book down. This may not be an appropriate bed-time story if you want your kids to settle down, but would be a great one if they want a snack! Haha! Together: Gobo, Frosting, Taffy & Princess Mini have quite the adventurous time investigating the Marshmallow Ghost that haunts Candy Castle. With vocabulary words at the end, and sweet reminders throughout that it’s never to early to let go of your favorite stuffed animal, and not to be scared to try something new, this would be a great book during the summer or especially now in quarantine when kids are being home-schooled. Remind them gently what is important, even when their teachers aren’t there to do so. I always enter giveaways for my nieces & nephew because they love reading just as much as I do. A deliciously sweet & fun-filled fast read for the kiddos! I would definitely recommend, especially around Halloween! 4 stars.
