Another easy read. Definitely falls in the cozy mystery category. I really like the characters. The mystery is pretty low angst. Although, we get a bit of excitement with Tina trying to find her birth coven. That was fun.

She believed she could fly, so she did ..... A much better read although the question raised by her finding her birth coven are mounting. Although there is a murder and the girls are investigating, it is really secondary to the main point of this read - the possibility that she has found her birth coven. But if that is the case then why does her appearance make people turn tail and run? The big flying competition is due to start shortly but at the opening ceremony she finds her double up on the stage as a competitor. A girl who is from the coven of Titan which has hidden itself on a tiny island of Hawaii. Later over drinks at the local bar the girl sees her and immediately runs away. Why? Her musing is interrupted by the death of one of the male competitors. Who killed him? Local law enforcement is more concerned with hiding this from the public then in finding the killer. Add in a rejection to visit the island, her BFF coming in second after a spell slowed her down, an unauthorised trip, more people running away and a spell. Is she part of the Titan coven? What does it mean for her? Will her BFF gain enough confidence to work magic? Will the killer be found?

Good When Sara enters the Golden a Broomstick competition, Tina and her friends are stunned to find one of her competitors dead. Not to mention, Tina has also found a huge lead on her birth coven... Good, although there are several story inconsistencies (such as Amy’s never traveling, when she did in book three). It should also be mentioned that this book is NOT a standalone, as it continues immediately from book four in the series. Still, we are finally finding out more about Tina’s heritage, even Good When Sara enters the Golden a Broomstick competition, Tina and her friends are stunned to find one of her competitors dead. Extraordinarily entertaining And extraordinarily entertaining Series. Great cast of characters based in a supernatural town near Seattle. A witch who found out in her 20s that she was actually a witch. And accidentally stumbled into a paranormal town and meet new friends and start learning to use her magic. They turn into a version of a magical mystery hunting squad. Always finding trouble and then figuring out who done it. Lots of pop culture references and you will be entertained. Check it out

Great series I'm new to paranormal cozy mysteries. I'm so glad that you were one of the first authors I discovered. I've enjoyed this series and several others. I must say that the Cassie Coburn series is my favorite even though it isn't paranormal. Thanks for sharing your writing. Great series I'm new to paranormal cozy mysteries. Disappointing errors It's sad when a perfectly reasonable story is not edited properly reducing it's impact. Murder storyline is not as strong as it's really more of a fill in or stepping stone to the next part of Tina's birth story. Slightly losing interest.. think it's becoming too complex in Tina's direction and overly simplistic in the rest. Much Better The characters are more developed and the plot is coming along nicely. There are still some interesting speed bumps, such as in Chapter 7:  "...Or do even the evil people understand that they’re on the right side of things?” Evil is the right side? Or in Chapter 14: "He jumped slightly, but he jumped slightly…" Sure, why not? But overall, things are looking up. Much Better The characters are more developed and the plot is coming along nicely. Love this series! I really love this series! Tina is getting closer to finding out which coven she belongs to, but it might not be what she wants. She's also dat I g Kyran, which I'm happy about. Another crime, another dead body! Think of it like a supernatural Miss Marple and you would barely scratch the surface of Western Woods and the takes weaved by Samantha. All I can say is give me more please! I'm greedy like that. Another crime, another dead body! The plot thickens! Tina learns a lot as well as solving another crime, but she ends up with more questions than answers about her origins.
