I loved both of these novellas from Kenji’s perspective!!!

I now have so much more respect for authors who do great multiple POVs. I also appreciate them much more for publishing novellas in between their books. They give us so much more clarity. The only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is because I felt too much of the same scenes were repeated here. I would have preferred more of what I didn’t see to be featured.

Kenji is such a sweetheart, and it was cool to read more from his perspective. But that cliffhanger was just plain cruel! Now I really need Imagine Me.

*** This review contains spoilers for both novellas that are in this bind-up *** Rating: 🌟🌟🌟 (3/5 stars). I feel like I have been such a fan of the shatter me for such a long time and like somehow I read this newer trilogy (or like the newer books) when my life is always messed up and family drama is around. I feel like I have been such a fan of the shatter me for such a long time and like somehow I read this newer trilogy (or like the newer books) when my life is always messed up and family drama is around. Haha, somehow that happened again when I read this book. I always knew I wanted to read this when both short stories were out and before the last book in this series came out. And that what I did. I will have some thoughts about both short stories down below. Thoughts about Shadow Me: Kenji's point of view was cute but in all honesty his novella was kind of pointless😂 I am intrigued about Nouria now and Kenji officially has re-invoked my sympathy for Adam. Also, I will always and forever think Kenji is such a real chaotic bi disaster and it's so sad to hear that my puppy bear is struggling with his mental health too. Oh and I still love Warner to death. Thoughts about Reveal Me: I liked this second novella so much more than the first one. I also somehow didn´t know this one would be from Kenji´s point of view too so I was really shocked (and happy) when I found I would get more of Kenji. I truly felt bad for the sweetest puppy Kenji and I also somehow completely forgot Nouria was Castle´s daughter. I am still not sure how I feel about Kenji´s budding romance with Nezeera. I am not hating it but I am also not liking it. Warner and Juliette are still absolutely the cutest and I barely could handle them. ALSO THANK YOU KENJI FOR CARING ABOUT BOTH ADAM AND JAMES, LIKE I WAS SCREAMING TOO THAT THEY WEREN´T THERE. Also what the actual fuck happened at the end. Tahereh Mafi you simply just can´t end your novella like that. SERIOUSLY YOU CAN´T, IT DESTROYED ME. I actually thought this one was pretty good unlike the previous one (Shadow me which was really pointless and unnecessary). Also, my puppy, the sweetest, the babe Kenji really deserves ALL THE HAPPINESS. AND MY POOR BABY! I REALLY CARE ABOUT YOU! Lol, I don´t really care that much about Juliette anymore since I think her character kind of got butchered in the last few books and now I am basically still reading it for Warnette, Warner, Kenji & James content. Also, I am actually liking and caring for Adam again. I don´t think he deserved the hate he got. I am truly not ready for this series to end again. I might not love the newer books as much as I love the OG books but I still really enjoy them. I honestly cannot wait to read Imagine Me but I am also terrified to read this. I thought the first novella was kind of pointless and didn´t really do anything but I have to say the second one was really good and pretty important to read. Haha, my advice would be skip reading Shadow Me and simply read Reveal Me.

Find Me is all from Kenji's POV and eh it was okay. Don't get me wrong Kenji is completely and utterly lovable. Sometimes just likable. It's just that this novella did nothing for me. Here me out though, it was from scenes that I just didn't care about in the previous book. So for me, I didn't see the point of going through everything again just to get Kenji's POV. I would've liked something to happen behind the scenes that I had no idea about instead. Then I probably would've liked diving into t Find Me is all from Kenji's POV and eh it was okay. While I enjoyed Shadow Me, it’s not really needed. Sure, I liked reading from Kenji’s POV, but nothing of substance really happens in this novella and I struggle to see its purpose. Reveal Me, on the other hand, definitely had its purpose, I just, for some reason, didn’t like it as much as Shadow Me. Kenji and Nazeera’s relationship is cute and all, but they better get together soon because all their hot and cold drama is getting really old really fast. Shadow me was better than Reveal me, but overall I can’t complain about two Kenji POV stories. Can we get a full Kenji book please? 🙏🏻 — Title: Find Me. Bind up edition of Shadow Me and Reveal Me with Kenjj as the POV for both ❤️❤️❤️

Shadow me 3/5: i mean. was shadow me really neccesary? it was important to show this side of kenji, yes, but it feels like a cop-out. she could’ve atleast used the sixteen days between ignite me and restore me, maybe even push it up until the moment nazeera arrives. Reveal me 5/5: i get that the last book isn’t out yet, so maybe this one will also turn out to be ”unnecessary”, but right now i love it!

Don't get me wrong, I love Kenji. He's my favorite character after Warner, and I wouldn't mind a whole ass novel written through his perspective. But, these two novellas were basically told to recap both Restore Me and Defy Me. At least I'm up to date and can start Imagine Me. Wish me luck. Don't get me wrong, I love Kenji. Find Me by Tahereh Mafi is a bind-up of the Shatter Me series novellas Shadow Me and Reveal Me. I've already read and review Shadow Me, so I will treat this as a review of Reveal Me. Reveal Me bridges the gap between Defy Me and the next and final book Imagine Me. This novella, like Shadow Me, is told from Kenji's perspective. This novella reveals some things that will be addressed in Imagine Me, such as the fates of certain characters not previously addressed in Defy Me. Wow. Where to start. I think Kenji might be one of my favorite characters ever. So pure. He deserves the absolute best. I loved seeing the story from his POV. It makes me wish we had more of it in the other books. I need more Nazeera. She’s so mysterious. That. Cliffhanger. How rude. I guess I can’t say anything else without spoilers. I can’t wait for Imagine Me now.

Shadow me: 3/5 I feel like Shadow me wasn't really necessary. It was like reading the same story, exactly the same thing just from a different perspective. That did not make it interesting, and tbh, we did not learn anything new. Reveal me: 5/5 The second part was so good and so important, it needed to be in the main book. Like that last cliffhanger just makes me want to read the last book right now. I'm glad there is something going on between Kenji and Nazeera, but I am still suspicious of her. KENJI KENJI KENJI DESERVES THE FUCKING WORLD. And to think there was once a time I found him a nuisance. There was once a time I thought he was a pain in the butt I wanted gone. I take back everything I said. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. I love his relationship with Juliette and how much they love each other. He deserves the world. And now my need for Imagine Me is so so damn high. I need it

The best part of this book was that it was Kenji's point of view. The first one was nice, but didn't add too much for me, but I especially really loved the second one, which really gave a view on what he was thinking and feeling. Nice addition to the series. I know that there are a lot of people who feel a little disappointed, who were happy with the original trilogy and didn't need this story. I, however, enjoy this wild ride and the unexpected twists, turns and surprises waiting around every corner. I'm also still very impressed by Mafi's wonderful writing style. She's a star when it comes to writing down emotions and the more dramatic a character feels and becomes, the more her writing starts to shine. In this book Kenji FINALLY breaks down completely and although I wouldn't want this to happen to a gem and positive character like Kenji, it was so wonderfully written, almost as if a piece of me was kinda breaking with him too. And even though there wasn't that much interaction between Juliette and Kenji, I felt that the interaction we saw felt very pure. It's the kinda of friendship we all want to have, we all deserve to have and I'm so glad they have each other and even happier that Mafi manages to write it down in a really convincing way. This novella really has me hyped for the last book! I can't wait to hold and devour it!
