I enjoyed this follow up story of the Dragolitha as they lose Incindia and their journey to bring her back into their fold begins. They soon discover that she has risen and are eager to seek her out. Traveling across both space and time, they encounter even more obstacles, many creatures- including a demon shape-shifting goat- among other mythical beasts, and the wrath of Incidia herself and find love along the way. Xirow still plots to overtake the world as well as Ramathule and new characters I enjoyed this follow up story of the Dragolitha as they lose Incindia and their journey to bring her back into their fold begins. Xirow still plots to overtake the world as well as Ramathule and new characters emerge including the birth of a new half dragon. There was more character development in this book as we learn more about each of their stories and the action-filled battle scenes and journey were engaging. If you enjoy fantasy, dragons, Asian culture, action and anime, this book is right up your alley.

Cartoon fun in written form The Dragolitha are stronger than before, which is just as well, as they have a whole host of enemies to fight, including space worms, trilobites, old enemies and friends. There is a lot of imagination in this book, and some cool concepts, but the writing is mostly dialogue. It’s a bit like reading an anime cartoon where several different series have been spliced together randomly. It has an element of fun if you go with it.

The Odyssey of the Dragolitha: Essence Within by Caleb Wright is the thrilling sequel in the series The Odyssey of the Dragolitha. The book picks up where the first book left off and later has a time skip. We follow the characters from the first book as they set out on new missions, and meeting new companions along the way. There was improvement with this book compared to the first. This installment was enjoyable and developed the characters and world. We also are treated to even more action. The Dragolithia and other residents of Wright's world were full of adventure, travel, and magic. The pace was fast and the characters were introduced at a rapid pace. It reads like a cartoon series or anime. It reminds me of a series that you can enjoy with awesome graphics and texts like in a comic book. I found the characters interesting and the story intriguing. The Dragolithia and other residents of Wright's world were full of adventure, travel, and magic.
