It was more than an introduction to the war but it contained many interesting profiles of people and courage. It really is amazing the war was won by the largely untrained army and the tag-tag militia all while fighting the Indians and without much of a navy.

A fun read with many little known events and facts I wasn't aware of. Written in a story telling style that made reading easy. A fun read with many little known events and facts I wasn't aware of. Written in a story telling style that made reading easy.

Concise, well researched book that reads more like short stories than chapters in history.

this book was alright in the sense of accuracy and in knowing some crude details of the revolutionary war.
