    I'm a good cook when it comes to technique and knowing different ingredients, but I'm not the kind of wizard who can create the perfect lunch salad from whatever odds and ends are in the fridge. So when I saw this Australian book for the first time on the bookstore display, I bought it, and I never decide that quickly. The recipes all look doable and delicious, with just enough ingredients to create flavorful perfection. The three salads I have made so far (tuna chickpea & caper, lentil zucchini I'm a good cook when it comes to technique and knowing different ingredients, but I'm not the kind of wizard who can create the perfect lunch salad from whatever odds and ends are in the fridge. So when I saw this Australian book for the first time on the bookstore display, I bought it, and I never decide that quickly. The recipes all look doable and delicious, with just enough ingredients to create flavorful perfection. The three salads I have made so far (tuna chickpea & caper, lentil zucchini & mint, and broccolini & sesame soba) live up to the hype, except that they tend to take quite a bit longer than 5 minutes. It's worth it to be that smug person making everybody else jealous with her hearty, healthy, delicious lunch.
