Liliana, I always wished I'd never told my father about the kiss. The kiss the son of the man who came to do odd jobs around the house gave me. But I was only eleven years old then. I didn't understand the ways of the world. How fathers think. My father ran out of the house and fired the boy's father. His father struck him right in front of me. I never saw him again, but I n Liliana, I always wished I'd never told my father about the kiss. The kiss the son of the man who came to do odd jobs around the house gave me. But I was only eleven years old then. I didn't understand the ways of the world. How fathers think. My father ran out of the house and fired the boy's father. His father struck him right in front of me. I never saw him again, but I never forgot his eyes, the fierce, unrepentant expression in them. Sometimes I still think of him and I wonder what became of that boy. If I will ever see him again. Then I wonder what his reaction to me will be. Would he even remember my face? Probably not. He must have forgotten me by now. But if he did I'd just like to say how very sorry I was for making a child's innocent kiss such a big deal. It was just a kiss stolen by a boy. Cain I hated her father. He destroyed my family. But I wanted his daughter. Like a thirst I could never quench. For years I dreamed and obsessed about her. Lust mixed with hate is a bad thing. Like a disease in your blood it ruins your life. When I slept with other women the craving for her flesh only got worse. I was haunted by her. Sometimes, when I could no longer bear it, I followed her from afar. She was, always heavily protected by her father's security guards. I watched her grow into a beauty I could never have her. But I had to have her. By any means. When she turned eighteen she moved out of her father's nest. It was a gift from fate. I cast my net...and my proud gypsy princess flew into it. And the Crystal Jake saga continues, this time with his eldest daughter ,Lillianna Eden as the heroine, and one time gypsy garderner's son ,Brand. Brand was the garderner's son at the Jake Eden estate as a young teen,at 15 he stole a kiss from Lilliana, and shocked she told her father and he fired the gardener. This spiraled into a series of bad events in young Brand's life which led to his mother dying at the hands of his father, the father's imprisonment and subsequent death, foster care which was horrific and the deviant sexual abuse he suffered in care. After devising a plan,he killed his foster father and escaped to a life on the streets until he became a crime lord thru a series of events. Now at the age of 24,he has devised a plan to kidnap Liliana and revenge against Jake Eden. The heroine, now 20 wants some independence from her family and made plans to intern in London and live in a small apartment by herself. With much reluctance ,her parents agreeded to her move with conditions. On a night out after work with her co workers, she gets kidnapped . Brand now has Lilianna at his mercy,he is crass and crude with her, dominant ,and frankly a real pig! At first,I was really prepared to hate the hero, his actions towards the heroine were so,so cruel and frankly disgusting, but as with this author, she won me over. Now,nothing can excuse his disgusting actions, but his backstory which led and shaped him to who he became,I had sympathy for him. I enjoyed this story and like a lot of this author's work,I was held captive and finished the re ad in one sitting. There were some surprising revelations towards the end which I did not see coming, but it was good. Enjoyed the epilogue which showed the entire clan together. Makes me want to reread the Crystal Jake series over again.

Her father immediately fires the gardener and his son. Since then the H wants his revenge. And since then the h is kind of in love with him. Strange. Now after some 9 years, the h wants to have an independent life where she can live by her own, work a normal 9 to 5 job and have a regular middle class life. She is bored with her rich lifestyle. Her daddy reluctantly agrees to this. The H was waiting for such a golden chance. He kidnaps her immediately when she tries to live an independent life. So when the H kidnaps the h, he tells her to call her father and lie to him about going for a vacation. She does that. (view spoiler)[The h’s father have taught his kids a code. If ever anyone is in a position where they have been kidnapped or being held hostage they just have to say one sentence. “Dad, I forgot to feed the dog. Can you feed it for me?” But the h doesn’t say these code words to her father when she calls him. Why? So she doesn’t care that she is kidnapped? She doesn’t even know that the kidnapper is the gardener’s son. So why she didn’t say those code words? God knows. She does wants to be kidnapped I guess. The H‘s revenge plan is to treat her as a prostitute. He rapes her and takes her virginity. After that the h goes in the bathroom and masturbates. (hide spoiler)] Coming to the H, I don’t know why he kidnapped her. Even the h finds the reason silly. “Brand, can you really not see how unreasonable your need for revenge is? No matter what the unfortunate consequences were of my actions they were unintended. I was just a child. As you were. You can’t possibly still be this angry and bitter because an eleven-year old child told her father a boy kissed her. What is the real reason why you are so bitter towards me?” (view spoiler)[The H blames the h because she told her father that he kissed him. It doesn’t matter to him that she was just 11. Then when his father is fired from the job , they go back to there home. His father tries to teach him some sense but the H is too stubborn. He tells his father and mother that he likes the h and will marry her one day. In the state of anger his father raises his hand to slap the H but unfortunately the blow strikes his fragile mother who dies on the spot. And so in the H’s eye this is the h’s mistake that his mother died. Are you kidding me? This is ridiculous thinking. I’m sure the H would have done the same thing if he was the h’s father. Who would let a guy just kiss his 11 year old daughter. Then another secret is revealed from his past that he was sexually abused by rich pedophiles when he was sent in orphanage after his mother dies and father leaves him. For this also he blames the h and her father. The H’s plan of kidnapping backfires as the h finds it pleasurable. He wants to see fear in her eyes but he sees pleasure instead. So he tries to be rude with her and say hurtful things. But then the h tries to seduce him. After some accidents and seductions, the H realises that he loves the h. There’s some drama regarding her father accepting the H. (hide spoiler)] This was just an average book. The h accepting the situation quickly is something I cannot relate to. (view spoiler)[And I hate forced BJ, especially by the H. Just No. (hide spoiler)]

This was dark and if you get triggered easily avoid. There are issues like pedophillia, kidnapping etc. It was gripping read but this author’s writing strays into taboo and dark themes in her books.

While I have enjoyed books with a similar theme to this where the male protagonist is out for revenge against the female lead, it usually doesn’t involve violence and treating her like dirt. But in this he treats her so badly it left the author with no way to truly redeem him. So it became very unrealistic that the heroine would fall for this man. Basically I found this nasty and unbelievable.

One mistake that triggers a chain of unimaginable horror for the boy that recognised his soul mate and tried to claim her so clumsily... One act of revenge that will make peace with his demons that haunt him. The daughter of Jake Eden is as formidable as her Father, with all the determination and fire in her soul so when she realises who has taken her captive and why she vows to make amends her mistakes. Having never forgotten the boy that took her first kiss, she’s longed for him to be her first everything but not quite in the way she gets! He has been fighting ever since his moment of passion just to survive the brutal world he was thrust into. Warping his feelings into something malevolent he acts upon his need for vengeance but deep within his heart he’s still just the boy that wanted to kiss a beautiful girl and marry her one day. Can they find common ground, can she atone for her sin against him and will her firsts be penance enough for the man who is seeking peace from his ghosts? I know I say this every time but once again this author has delivered a passionate, emotive story that wove its way into my heart with characters I want to shake, hug and slap at times. The next generation of Edens are as captivating as their parents and I loved the dynamic of the family and how Jake is still one step ahead of all those around him, he is power and control personified. A fantastic addition to this series and a Christmas treat that should be one clicked immediately. A five star one kiss is all it takes read.

Frustrating with so much potential I really like this author but I just couldn't get on board with this one. Brands backstory was the best part in the book. His revenge on those who wronged him should have been covered more closely because that would have explored his character. A simple kiss couldn't cause all this chaos nope not an 11 year olds fault. Why was a 15 year old kissing a little girl anyway, there's a big difference in development at that age, doesn't matter when they are both in their 20s. Overall good storyline, great plot with potentially a fantastic character driven tale of revenge and romance. The foundations were there, Very frustrating.

I have been waiting for Liliana and the gardner's son story since the day I read about that stolen kiss. It was an other great read by GLC. Brand is my favorite kind of hero, he reminded me so much of Jack Eden and he's even more damaged. And I have a thing for demaged dark heroes and for innocent and smart heroines, so this is my favorite read. I would have loved a longer epilogue though, hope Georgia can dish us something Christmas related with Liliana, Brand and Hunter. Wow, even though this story is much darker than Georgia's usual style of writing, I could tell she wrote it from the very first page - her inevitable style shines through! To be fair, with the dub-con that's brought into it, it won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I honestly think that if anyone can write dark (with a terrific hea!) it's GLC and she's totally proved it with this Eden family read. I'd recommend reading the series in order, it's well worth our precious reading time!! The Crystal Jake stories were the first books by Georgia Le Carre that I read and they began my obsession with everything Le Carre and especially the Eden family! I've read and bought all the books, including the ones that just mention this fabulous family. Jake and Lily are the most amazing couple, it's no wonder that I've been looking forward to reading about their oldest and most precocious child. Liliana has grown up before us in previous books and it's exciting to see her get her own book. Brand and Liliana have a past that has helped shape their present, especially Brand, and it's raw and bitter. But in true Georgia Le Carre fashion, she pulls us into this intriguing story and helps us understand that everything in life is not sunshine and roses...there is darkness and thorns...but love can still overcome all of the obstacles and it does. This is a wild and dark book, but at the same time there's something charming and exciting about Liliana and Brand's story. It was ok I was so excited to dive back into the Eden family. Sadly, I couldn't connect with these characters. Liliana was the typical spoiled princess. She has been sheltered her whole life. Brand has had a rough time after he lost his parents. I thought the chapters detailing what happened to him were a little over the top. I'm happy that everything worked out in the end and I will definitely read more by this author. I just was very underwhelmed by this one. It was ok I was so excited to dive back into the Eden family. Will Liliana ever find her happy ending? Will Brand ever forgive himself and those around him? This book was definitely an emotional roller coaster! Wow! I found myself holding my breath constantly while reading this book. Georgia most definitely has a way with words. I can't recommend this book highly enough. My heart broke for Liliana and Brand. To watch their story unfold in the pages of this book and the way they connect and break apart and connect on such a basic level is so beautiful. They are two souls destined to be together and nothing can break them apart. It was truly beautiful to read. Wow! I found myself holding my breath constantly while reading this book. I just love Ms. Carre's stories and "A Kiss Stolen" does not disappoint. Brand was infatuated with Liliana since he was fifteen and when he stole a kiss, Liliana ran and told her father causing him to dismiss his family from working for him. Liliana never forgot the boy or the kiss and she wished she had never told her father. Brand's life changed the night he kissed Liliana and now he wants revenge for the death of his parents.
