One of my favorite cartoon quotes is, "Grandma, you play like you want to have kids of your own someday." This is a great gifting-book for new grandmas and experienced ones. The collection of heart-warming stories honors and celebrates the ageless love of grandmothers. You'll laugh aloud because many of the stories are so delightful to read and you'll be able to relate to them. I especially like The Wooden Spoon story. Being a grandmother of 5, I found the book charming and inspirational. One of my favorite cartoon quotes is, "Grandma, you play like you want to have kids of your own someday." As a new grandmother, I found this book awesome. It has stories written by both grandmothers and grandchildren which tell of how each inspired the other. Also included are funny episodes from life.

Kippensoep dus.

2.5 Stars For a grandma it would be interesting to read this book, I guess. But to me it was just a book I had to read for a university course. Nothing so interesting about it.
