    While this book has some great plant-based recipes that appear to be easy to prepare and flavorful; I found this book lacking. I feel the author did herself a disservice by not including a photo with each recipe, unfortunately. Otherwise, not too bad of a Vegan book.

    Spoiler: Your tastebuds and stomach win in the end. Love this cookbook! One fun feature, you can use it in reverse: Feel like having some Kung Pao? It's in there - vegan-style. So are "chicken" salad, taco salad, pancakes, deviled "ham" sandwich spread and macaroni casserole. (Hungry, yet?!) I can vouch for the black bean dip, two of the hummus dips, the chocolate chip peanutbutter dip (think cookie dough - devour with or without vegan Graham crackers) and the broccoli and rice casserole.
