Jennifer is an escort, that's who she has chosen to be. Not because that's her dream, mind you. Her dream was the fairy tale with Prince Erik. But the kind of fire they had was too hot and burned out as quickly as it started. It was an explosion of passion and lust that didn't... that couldn't have lasted. So she did the only thing she could do. And that was to stuff her Jennifer is an escort, that's who she has chosen to be. Not because that's her dream, mind you. Okay, so I had a moment of extreme rage at a certain point while reading this book (quite far into it, too). I swore I wouldn't read on once I had got to the end of the book, and while that may still be the case, I will say that my rage simmered down a little as I finished the book. It ended on a much better note than it had been on at that point that made me so mad. What was that point, you ask? Well, okay, maybe you don't - but I'll tell you anyway! It ended on a much better note than it had been on at that point that made me so mad. What was that point, you ask? Well, okay, maybe you don't - but I'll tell you anyway! That point was yet another moment where the heroine in this story flounced off without hearing the explanation for what she assumed she'd just witnessed. Despite the loud protests of the one she pre-judged unfairly, she still ran off assuming the worst. He even said "You didn't hear the whole story!" but did she care? Nope, she just wanted to run off once again and be a major drama queen. Yeah, that part annoyed the crap out of me, and I wanted to reach into my Kindle and slap Jennifer. Still, I softened towards her again as the rest of the story unfurled. There are certainly reasons I'd like to read on, simply just to find out what happens, who gets their comeuppance, whether anything terrible happens with the sister, etc. But I just don't know if I can do it. Life's too short to feel that sort of fly-off-the-handle anger at a fictional book character, I think. Okay, that's this review done.

Good book It is set up very well from the first book. The characters remain full bodied and the plot flows along.
