His days are spent fighting the Unseelie and guarding the royal family. When the Cuelebre King assigns Lorne to play bodyguard to Cambree, the realm’s hottest commodity, he is insulted. His skills are better suited for battle, not following a dragon-breeder around town. His arrogance results in Cambree being attacked, and the female adds insult to injury by firing him. Determined to earn her trust and respect, Lorne sets out to ensure her ongoing safety, but finds himself undeniably drawn to the female. Their passion burns hotter than his dragon fire, but Lorne isnt the only male vying for her attention. He's prepared to go down in flames to win her heart, but if he isn't careful, that's exactly what will happen. Cambree enjoys her quiet life. Too shy for her own good, she prefers to melt in the shadows where she's lived her entire life. When the king returns to Khoth, and resumes the ancient ceremony identifying fertile females, Cambree is shocked when she is chosen. She's never been on a single date and is suddenly the focus of every male on Khoth. The irrisistible, sexy knight assigned to protect Cambree stirs a desire she's never felt before, but when she needs Lorne the most, he's nowhere to be found. Then Cambree draws the attention of the most dangerous creature in the realm, and becomes the target of a sinister plan that could rob the Cuelebre dragons of their ability to procreate. Will Lorne and Cambree find their happily ever after, or will the entire dragon species burn away like embers of a fire?

The newest book in the Dark Warrior Alliance series is fiery and gripping with strong, captivating characters that easily draw readers in and refuse to let go. Lorne and Cambree are the kind of hero and heroine that readers can really sink their teeth into, they differ in so much, temperament, lifestyles and more but they fit together so well. Too bad that they have to work through so much of their own issues before they accept that the blistering attraction that they feel for each other is so much more than either thought. Readers can’t help but sympathize with Cambree after what she’s been through and her vulnerabilities that keep her from reaching out, while the sexy dragon might need a few lessons in feelings, he certainly knows how to keep readers’ hearts fluttering. The relationship is sweet and completely tangled up in emotional turmoil while these two heat up the pages with their fiery chemistry throughout. The fast paced plot keeps readers holding on the edge of their seats with lots of thrilling suspense and exhilarating danger as their enemies are up to some major plotting and have some surprises in the store for Angus and his dragons. The spine tingling tension builds as a mysterious suitor competes for Cambree’s attentions, King Zander and his family visit Khoth and ask for a surprising favor while unexpected twists from the bad guys keeps readers guessing and waiting for the next explosive event or bloody battle. Oh, let’s not forget, there is still things happening back in the Tehrex Realm that just whets readers appetites for more. There is no way for readers put down this story once they have begun and there is not a dull moment to be found.

Shifter Love Story in the Dragon World This book returns to the Dragon Realm of Khoth with the love story of a dragon knight and a chosen one, with a few familiar characters. The book is fun and sexy and sweet. It's interesting to follow the main characters struggling to accept their fate and love in each other, growing as persons. There is also old adversary scheming evil plans in the background. The details of life in Khoth could be more sci-fi in my taste, not so similar to life on Earth. Unseelie magic to keep you enthralled I love that we get to visit both realms when reading this series. Both Tehrex and Khoth have their own enemies to fight but King Zander and King Angus fight together for the betterment of everyone. Cambree and Lorne are thrust together when her Tuya mark seems to attract the wrong kind of attention and she is attacked. Lorne doesn't want to babysit, he wants to fight the Unseelie instead. But when Can is attacked again while he is supposed to be guarding her Unseelie magic to keep you enthralled I love that we get to visit both realms when reading this series. Cyril, the Unseelie King, plays a big part in this book. This book sucked me in more than the last few. I love this world but having something a little different keeps my interest from waning.

Dragon Smoke This is a good KU library addition to the DWA series. It takes place in the Dragon Realm on Koth, where Angus is King. Lorne, third in the chain of command and skilled Maahes warrior, has been assigned as bodyguard for a tula who was attacked by an overzealous male. But, thinking the assignment beneath him, Lorne lets his guard down until Cambree is assaulted on his watch. Cambree is so over males who are interested in her only because she is tula and can give them heirs. And the las Dragon Smoke This is a good KU library addition to the DWA series. She blames Lorne, the male who was assigned to protect her, though he does seem to be remorseful. And then she meets Damien, who is everything she wants, including not being a dragon.

Lorne and Cambree are so sweet. It makes my heart ache. It was great getting to know Lorne and Cambree and seeing how they fit into the story. I really enjoyed reading about their trials and finding each other and their love. They fit in very well with the rest of the Dark Warriors family. I highly recommend getting to know them yourselves!

Love Lorne & Cambree’s Story. Lorne has felt guilty for failing Cambree and will do anything to protect her. Lorne & Cambree’s love wasn’t instant but once they both figured out they wanted more, I didn’t want too put my kindle down. Another great read that I absolutely love. I voluntarily reviewed this Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Sexy and entertaining Lorne and Cambria’s story was sexy and funny, fast paced and action packed. There were a few parts that I found predictable and a bit slow, but was quickly thrown a curve again. All in all, Dragon Knight is a great addition to the Alliance series, and I’m really looking forward to more? Maybe a certain Angel and Phoenix?

Dragon Knight of Khoth I knew that Damien was up to no good. Cambree was so oblivious to the fact that things didn't seem right whenever she was with him. Glad Lorne came to his senses and marked her before it was too late. Can't wait for the next book. Dragon Knight of Khoth I knew that Damien was up to no good. Fast paced Loved how the pair took time to realize that they were falling in love. The misunderstanding and angst were great change from I instantly know they are my mate shifter tale. One part wasn’t crazy about was the Angels and Phoenix addition. Felt intruding.

Another home run Most series get boring after the 8 or 9 th book but not this one. These amazing women keep you glued to the pages time and time again. This book dives deeper into the world of Khoth and the dangers and excitement that awaits the dragons as the work to rebuild!

This was filled with so many ups and downs I didn’t want this book to end. Cam and Lorren have become my favorite couple. Dear lord what will happen next in this world that Brenda Trim and Judy Julka have created. I love this struggle between good and evil. You both rock!!!

Another visit to Khoth I loved Lorne's love story. He was a real douche to begin with, but he redeemed himself in the end. I like the way the Dark Warrior peeps show up to help out. I especially love Mack and her irreverent tee shirts. I sure hope someone finally gets Cyril. Another visit to Khoth I loved Lorne's love story. I received this book in the Bite Me box. Honestly the story was so bland in my opinion. I understand I’m reading a book in the middle of a series but the dragon shifters were kinda boring. Cambree was your “I’m not like other girls” protagonist and one dimensional. Oh well just not my cup of tea

Great dragon knight What a fantastic story! Cambree and Lorne really fit so well after the doubt and their lack of confidence faded. It is a great series.

This book is in my top 5 of The Dark Warrior Alliance set because it showed me that "It takes the right man or Dragon to help you Blossom in every way to become a Strong, Well Rounded woman well I mean Beautiful Dragoness and without the right Woman or Dragoness, a Man/Dragon will never teach their Full Potential!" LOVE CONQUERS ALL. Keep weaving your amazing stories Ladies, you will always have a Loyal Reader in me I look forward to the next addition to "The Dark Warrior Alliance Family!" P.S.
