Bridgewater: Where ménage meets marriage. ------------------------ Book 3.0: Their Captivated Bride The Bridgewater way of two men marrying one woman is uncommon in the Montana territory. But three men marrying one woman? That is unheard of, especially for beautiful Olivia Weston. Her fate, it seems, will have her married to one man – a man she doesn’t love. But when her betrothed treats her in a cruel manner, she rejects him and not long afterwards catches the eye of three handsome and virile ranchers. Cross, Rhys and Simon are as different as three men can be. But they have one thing in common; they are determined to offer Olivia the protection of marriage and the promise of endless carnal pleasures. Olivia worries that her instant attraction and hasty agreement to marry three men stems from a defect in her character. What kind of woman not just love three men, but make the most intimate parts of herself available to their lustful attention? The chemistry between them is like lightning. Can she deny it? Or will Olivia submit to become the most sated Bridgewater wife in this ongoing series where two (or in this book's case, three) cowboys claim a bride? Book 4.0: Their Treasured Bride Rebecca Montgomery never expected to leave London and go to the American West, but this was how her brother saves her an impending marriage of convenience. She also never expected her brother to marry her by proxy to a trusted friend before dying on the journey. She quickly discovers that the Montana territory is a far cry from England, and so are the expectations of a wife at Bridgewater Ranch, for she's married not just to Dashiell, but also to his friend and fellow Scot, Connor MacDonald. Dashiell McPherson never expected to find himself wed to a woman he's never met, especially not a prim lady raised to believe her sexuality is something to be repressed rather than enjoyed. Can an inhibited woman accept not just one but two husbands? It will take ample Scottish brash, a fair amount of brawn and plenty of carnal persuasion to free Rebecca of her inhibitions and show her how treasured she is. Book 5.0: Their Christmas Bride Allison Travers is in love with two men. Two! Quinn and Porter are both irresistible, and making a choice between them seems impossible. But she fears she'll lose the chance to decide when a malicious man seeks to force her into marriage with him by spreading rumours painting her as a woman with loose morals. Quinn and Porter aren't about to buy the lies. They love Allison, and what's more, they both want to marry her. Allison, unaware that one woman for two husbands is the way of the Bridgewater men, soon learns of their customs. And she learns something else as well: once they track her down, these two handsome cowboys will never let go of the woman they plan to make their Christmas Bride.

The story will have mention of other members of this unique community of individuals. Bridgewater is a town in Montana that has the uncommon practice of more than one husband per wife—a Mohamian custom adopted by soldiers who served in Mohamir. Clayton Peters will threaten Olivia, and with the aid of her Uncle Allen, she will be protected, but they both know this isn’t the end of their problems. At a local dance, she will meet two unique men who grab her attention. Her Uncle has always told her, you’ll know by the lightning you will feel—but why does she feel this for two men she just met? “When I find the right man, it will feel like I’ve been struck by lightning.” Cross, Rys, and Simon are in Helena to purchase a stud stallion for their ranch back in Bridgewater. While Simon is busy making the deal to buy the horse, Rys and Cross will attend a local dance, where they meet Olivia and know she is the one for them. Simon has yet to meet her, but when a fire happens at her home in the night—that will change, and with the encouragement and blessings of her Uncle, she will be married shortly after that and then moved to Bridgewater and kept safe. “You said you felt a connection, a spark with them, that you were worried about being attracted to two men at the same time. Your head may be telling you it is wrong, but your heart will always tell the truth.” The story has the good, the bad, the ugly, and the nightmares. For Cross, Rys and Simon, they have each had their share of troubles and worries. But when it comes to taking Olivia as their wife, it is the perfect solution. She was meant to be theirs. They need to get her back to their home in Bridgewater. They will protect her from danger and keep her safe. “Bridgewater is my home now. Your home. It is where our future is. You are our future.” Trouble will come, and her quick thinking and actions will make the difference. Olivia is smart enough not to believe the lies she is being told. She will flee and try to find her men, and when lost, she is smart enough to seek a safe place until they can find her. Mystery, suspense, danger, explicit sex scenes, passion, and possession all make up this tale of dominance, submission, and ménage. “I’m right where I want to be, between the three of you. It means I belong to all of you. Not one at a time, but all of you at the same time, for that’s how it is, in here.” Their Treasured Bride (Bridgewater Menage Series Book 5) I’VE NEVER BELONGED TO ANYONE BEFORE—NOT ANYONE WHO WANTED ME These stories by Vanessa Vale will take the reader on a fascinating journey of dominance, submission, passion, and erotic sexual scenes. The cast of characters is fierce, loyal, and passionate in and out of the bedroom, the women are strong but willingly submit, and the men are dominant and very protective. Bridgewater men possess their wive’s in both body and soul. Nothing is considered inappropriate. These stories are incredibly explicit in sexual detail in a loving and fulfilling relationship. I especially enjoyed that this story was different than most. What a surprise when Rebecca Montgomery shows up in Bridgewater to see Dashiell McPherson inform him that she is his proxy bride. Having no knowledge that she or her late brother was coming to Bridgewater comes as a surprise—one he is willing to accept. Explaining to Rebecca the Bridgewater way of at least two men to every woman, and that she will also be married to Connor MacDonald. Rebecca was born in England, sent away to bordering school from the time she was six, and her father had recently arranged a marriage with an elderly earl who needed an heir. When Cecil Montgomery learned of the plan, he rescues Rebecca and plans for them to live in Bridgewater. Only a fall from a horse leads to his death, but a proxy marriage will protect her. “I can’t . I can’t like it. I’m not supposed to like it. A husband doesn’t want a woman who’s passionate, for he will question her countenance.” “The men of Bridgewater Ranch held themselves to a higher standard. We were faithful, possessive, and very loving. In return, wives did as bid with regards for their safety and also for their pleasure.” “You may question their prowess and interest in your body, but you do not need to question their honor or their allegiance to you. You are the center of their world, now, do not doubt it.” I liked that this story doesn’t have someone trying to harm the bride as seen in most of these stories. Instead, this is a very sheltered, prim Victorian woman who must learn that everything she has been taught is far from the truth. Men, or at least Bridgewater men, don’t have dalliances on the side, and they don’t fumble under the sheets in the dark to produce an heir and spare. Bridgewater men are passionate, and everyone knows they don’t have a shy bone in their bodies. They love hard and often, and the woman between them is pleasured. There is no such thing as taboo or shame; it is lusty, erotic, and often. “We may be big and brawny, but ye can bring us to our knees.” Their Christmas Bride (Bridgewater Menage Series Book 6) YOU’RE OURS, ANGEL The Christmas story is a short novella and will bring Porter, Quinn, and Allison Travers together. Unlike the other stories in the series, Allison knows both Porter and Quinn, has feelings for them, feels guilty about it, but doesn’t think they reciprocate. When Mr. Matthews makes his pursuit known, and she rejects him, he lets her know he will slander her reputation. October: “You should not have your sights set on a man. You should, instead, keep your eyes on the man who has his sights set on you.” –Quinn The story will have Allison leaving by stagecoach on Christmas day but not getting away. When the Sheriff, Porter, and Quinn meet her, open the door, she assumes Mr. Matthews has spread his lies, and she is being arrested. What a shock to find out it is a wedding instead. “Perhaps it was for the best I left town, for what man would want a woman who had lustful thoughts, even impure actions, about two different men? I lusted after not one man, but two. I eagerly sought the attention of not one man but two. I longed for not one man, but two. I was a—a hussy.” The three of them make a great pair of husbands and wife. The erotic chemistry is powerful, and once the misconceptions are handled, they can move forward. I wished this story had been longer because I liked these three together. “We both paid interest you after that because we wanted you. We never would have vied for your attention. We wanted them equally. We want them equally.” "Do you want us as much as we want you? We wanted you for our wife from the very beginning, but do you want us to be your husbands?” “It’s Christmas and it’s time for us to unwrap our present.”

Overall ok boxed set. If you're looking for quick and steamy, this will do it. If you're looking for in depth storylines, this probably won't quite do it for you.
