    An absolute heavy-hitter. However Tanaka managed to follow it up with two more novels afterwards is a miracle.

I wasn't nearly as disabled by Yang's death, but the WORK of Iserlohn, the course of its mourning - wow, crushing. Love the ridiculous prose and the translation work wasn't as clunky as it was for vol 7.     for a long time book in serie that is focused on space battles, i was amazed how it was written. Really enjoying this serie and thinking about immidiatly buy the last one that is on amazon (sorry solomon kane, this really is a formidable foe to face)
