A wonderful standalone, with a charm all its own, this story is set in a gay bar in West Hollywood on Halloween night and has Alex, an experienced bartender, saddled with training Matt who is a total newbie. What happens is not what either man expects – but it had me thoroughly entertained and wanting to read the other books in this series. Please find my full review on Rainbow Book Reviews. A cute Prolific Works freebie. I haven’t read any of the, “Kitchen Gods,” books but I don’t think it was necessary for this.

This was a sweet, fast-paced, and festive short story from Beth Bolden. I have not read any of the other part of the series yet, but that wasn't a problem in enjoying this as I understand from other comments the two characters here were minor characters in another book. I do look forward to reading more of the series and would love to learn more about Alex and Matt. This was a sweet, fast-paced, and festive short story from Beth Bolden. HOT NIGHT AT CLUB TEMPLE This was offered as a special for Halloween. It takes place on Halloween night at club Temple. Alex is a sexy, waiter and exotic dancer at the club, who always wears Angel wings. His eyes, wings, sexy moves and can't touch this attitude drive the customers wild. Matt is new to the club. Bright eyed and bushy tailed, straight from the farmlands. Sexy, Muscles and an innocent smile. This is a great, fast paced, short story. Just enough to wet your whistle. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHORT HOT BOOK!!

3,5* PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!! To my ratings: A 3,5* is clicked with a 4* but in review marked as 3,5*: 5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile’ or ‘Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the the kids’ series from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or ‘Liberty’ from Seth King), it's like an A+ 4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books and Davidson Kings 'Haven Hart'-se 3,5* PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!! I can recommend them definitively! It's like an B+ 3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader (2-3 times a year), it's like a B 2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-reader (I wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok) It's like a C-, D 1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolute NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole line, dismissed, repeat the class

I've not read any stories in this series but it's pretty self-contained. It was a freebie and I realize that combined with a short but it really jumped to the epilogue. It's essentially jaded but successful waiter in a gay club who is tasked to teach the new guy who has plans to be an actor in LA and is desperate for work. He's thrown off a bit by how upbeat and "nice" Matt is and tries to warn him that he's going to eventually give up his dreams. But probably if you read the series you may enjoy it even more. I did like Matt, even if Alex comes across as a bit of an ass at first.

A sweet story related to Kitchen Gods but not dependent on it. Revolving around Alex, the sexy waiter at Temple from the second book, we get to learn more about who he is behind the wings. Alex just seemed like a sexy and aloof party boy in the second book but it turns out there is more to him that that. He is cynical and disillusioned, lost in the world that LA is. Along comes Matt, the actor from the second book, and he turns out to be the bright ray of sunshine that Alex needs. The two seem u A sweet story related to Kitchen Gods but not dependent on it. The two seem unlikely to pair up, especially in their job, but they worked really well togehter. Watching Alex train Matt, the way that Matt flourishes, and the way they unexpectedly help build each other up, was great for this little short!

Worship Me, Kitchen Gods book 3.5 by Beth Bolden. This was a short Halloween themed sweet story. It had a couple of minor characters that were in book two of the series. I was waiting to get book three when I found I had this one in my TBR list. It’s a pretty self contained story that could be read on its own, but it was nice to read it after book two which they both had small parts in.

An enjoyably festive light read! It was great - and satisfyingly symmetrical - finding out what happened to Alex and Matt. All the more so because they ended up together! Now...can we have Kian’s book please?? 😉💕

It was a sweet, enjoyable short story that ended much too fast. It felt more like a preview than a whole story, but I really liked Alex and Matt.

Good little short. If you've read the series, Alex had a rough time in book 2. Everything has left him jaded and cynical, until a bright light in the form of Matt, changes his outlook.
