It's like browsing a spinner rack in another dimension, as artist, writer, filmmaker, bon vivant and nosy busybody Larry Blamire channels his love for 12-cent silver age comic books and sheer absurdity with a colorful volume of completely made up, but strangely convincing comic covers, ranging from slightly quirky to completely unhinged. If you are familiar with some of Larry Blamire's other books (I Didn't Know You Came with Raisins, or Larry Blamire's Blammary of Terms you May Not Know, for instance) or his movies (The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra, The Lost Skeleton Returns Again, Dark and Stormy Night), you know that he is a funny guy with an absurdly absurd sense of absurdity. This book does not disappoint. It is a collection of covers of comic books that never existed.
