A Long Way to Texas Jake came from Springfield, a man looking for something different from his father's store. He was not the green kid that survived the war, he was a man, and Texas was a whole new country different from anything that he'd ever seen. It was dangerous, wild and beautiful but most of all free!!!! BRAVO πŸ‘πŸ‘BRAVO πŸ‘πŸ‘ I loved this book. I found this novel to be a very easy read, I enjoyed it from first page to the last! Jake and Rainy relationship developed sweetly along with the story and the friendship and bond between Jake and John was pleasingly wonderfully developed!! I find the author Dave Sebeslav fresh and descriptive and free of unnecessary cursing and blasphemy comments wonderful story teller. I plan on reading all of his other books.

A Long Way To Texas This was a good read, one that even though it seemed short, contained a great deal of realism. The author has put together a lot of the characters that have you with them thth out the story.

Just right What a great way to spend an evening! There is just enough violence to fit the times and set the stage; just enough tension to keep your interest; just enough romance to warm your heart.

A Long Way To Texas This was a nice story.. It was more human and realistic than a lot of westerners. The hero did not have a gun draw faster than the speed of light.
