Remember Reese and Adam met when Reese rescued Adam after a car accident. Reese as a paramedic wanted to make sure this guy recovered. He became a constant at his bedside until he recovered. When Adam did wake from his coma , he lost two years of his life. The story was engaging and a twist to the plot. Otherwise it was the same in the mpreg story lines.

Reese wakes up from a coma with no memories of the last two years. He discovers he was in a horrific car accident that nearly killed him. His short term memory is also gone so he can’t retain things from day to day. Reese discovers he has a son and is heartbroken that he can’t remember anything about him. The one thing he does know is that he loves that little boy as soon as he meets him. One thing Reese can’t forget was the man he saw when he first woke from his coma. He finds out that his name Reese wakes up from a coma with no memories of the last two years. He finds out that his name is Adam and he is the paramedic who saved his life. When Adam witnessed the car accident while off duty he thought whoever was in that car was a goner. He has seen his fair share of accidents and people have died from less horrific scenes. And with as scenes he has been to and the amount of calls he has been on over the years as a paramedic, no one has ever been on his mind more than Reese. He can’t seem to stop thinking about him. The policy of any first responder is to move on to the next after delivering them to the hospital. However, Adam breaks his rule and frequently visits Reese. He Can’t explain why he is doing it, all he knows is that he needs to see him. Reese so desperately wants to remember his life. He knows there is something important, urgent even, in the back of his mind and it is just out of his reach. Adam suspects that Reese may remember snippets of his life before the accident but for some reason he won’t share any of it. Adam is resolved in being there for Reese no matter what truth comes out. From start to finish this book had me hooked. I love stories that involve people rediscovering themselves after suffering amnesia and they are different than the person they once were. There was suspense, danger and mystery and it had me at the edge of my seat wondering what was in Reese’s past. Such a great story! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Reese gives him his phone number on finally leaving the hospital, wanting to see how things can progress between them. Among Adams regular visitors is a man called Bolton but no one seems to know him and Adam gets a bit of a prickly feeling about him, something's a bit off. Adam notices some anomalies in his unusually high earnings whilst going through some paperwork trying to jog his memory, but thinks there must be an explanation. A police officer turns up suggesting evidence pointing to the crash not being an accident. What's going on I wonder? Weeks pass without incident, then on watching the news Adam realises who he was and is terrified of being found out. Another little shock is thrown into the mix but makes the pair admit they love each other, then Adam spills and tells Reese who he was. Weeks later Bolton turns up and Adam realises exactly who he is and is taken leaving Reese frantic but the incident has a karmic ending. Although having lots of hurdles to jump the family finally finds some peace and a beautiful future. I really enjoyed this and kept wondering what was going on and who Bolton was and was anyone else not who I thought they were. Well written and crafted storyline. Adam also met friends from work, and a friend Bolton and his parents. Reese was attracted to Adam and wanted to date him, so when Adam was released from the hospital, he gave Adam his number, but Adam forgot to call him. Reese called Adam himself and arranged to see him. They began to see each other and Adam was happy to start regaining memories and explore their new relationship. The more Adam remembered, the more questions he had about his past and things weren't as they seem, leading to Adam learning he was not the man he thought. Also the accident was suspicious and the police had more questions for Adam about the accident, but he couldn't remember. Adam could be in more danger, making him wonder if he should stay away from everyone. I really loved this book, i loved Adam and Reese together. I loved how Reese was with Billy and thought Billy was adorable. Adam changed because of the accident and i think Reese made him better. Reese was an alpha and he learned to slow down and enjoy himself and not demand more than Adam could give. I think they brought out the best in each other. Another great one from Austin.

He tells himself that he will get over it when he's no longer a patient, but when the time comes for Adam to go home, he realizes he can't let him go. There is a hint of mystery in this one, which was what kept me going. Who was Bolton? Why were strange things happening? I thought the addition of his character was very interesting, especially since Adam didn't remember him, but didn't find him suspicious or threatening. I was totally engrossed in the story and loved Reese's character. I loved that he was so calming and caring. It was a great read.

He is having to start over in the relationships that he had during his forgotten time, and is also starting to develop new ones, specifically with Reese, the man whom saved his life at the accident. Reese knew starting a relationship with a patient was a bad idea, but he was unable to resist Adam. Their relationship is a slow developing one, especially since Adam has a child, that he did not remember having. As the two of them learn what is means to be in a relationship with each other and Adam learns what it means to be a father again, Adam learns of some frightening information about his forgotten past. I really enjoyed reading this book and going along on the ride with Adam and Reese on their journey to rediscovery and love. The bond that the two characters have for each other is full of love, hope and trust in one another. I fell in love with the characters and was rooting for the two of them to find happiness in each other, and I am so glad that they did. Even when he pushes you away you still have that strong desire to protect & care for him. It must be fate!

Okay, so I like the story, but I need to be honest and say that, at the beginning, Adam gave me such a stalkerish vibe that he made my skin crawl. I meant, he was obsessing about Reese, stalking him online, showing at his house, touching him without asking *shudders* It got better, eventually, but I still am not a fan of alpha males, even when they are, you know, alphas :P But I liked how he interacted with Reese's kid, so that's a huge point on his favour. But this is an entertaining story and I enjoyed it a lot. Bump Turgeson does an ok job, although he needs to do a better job with translating emotions to his reading. Reese was in a horrible accident and had some memory loss issues. Adam the paramedic that saved him was the first person Reese saw when he woke up. There was instant chemistry between the two but there were issues when Reese started remembering who he was before the accident. Their relationship moved rather quickly for me and there seemed to be some gaps in the story where I would have liked more detail but overall it was a good read. I was offered an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Adam and Reese will take you on an emotional read. Fast-paced and full of action this story is full of drama, secrets and amnesia. It all begins when Reese an off-duty paramedic saves Adam from a car accident. No spoiler here but a good story about two people who fall in love and are threatened by secrets that begin to surface from the past as Adam recovers his memory. I read a reader copy via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to write a review.

I really wanted to like this book. I was excited by the premise and kept waiting for things to turn around. There were a couple “twists” that were so obvious I hesitate to call them twists. The one twist that did surprise me felt so far-fetched and it was ultimately disappointing. I love a good mystery, but this just fell flat. I was looking for a deeper meaning, a deeper connection, but I never felt it. This one didn’t work for me, but I’m willing to give the author another chance.

Adam has amnesia and has lost the last two years of his life. He doesn't completely know who he is now, or what he has done in the last two years but he now knows he has a son, and a definite interest in the man that saved his life. Reese saved Adams life but will he be able to bring back his memory. Adam has amnesia and has lost the last two years of his life.
