There isn't any sex in this one. It's definitely going down in the next one though, and the way the story is written made me not miss it too much. 😱 I know! I can't believe I said that shit either. 🤣 I wanted it to happen, but it made sense that it would happen in the next installment instead. When it does, I know it's going to be hot af with those guys! 🔥 I'm going to jump straight into Bonds of Cupidity soon which is probably another reason I'm not as concerned with that particular aspect. Lol I've got nothing to do but worry and wait! This author is helping me through a stressful time, and I'm so thankful. 🙌🏼 Paranormal RH fans, this one's for you!

Sometimes if the book is not doing it for you - you dnf it. Right? Weeeeeeell. That's not exactly how it happened for me this time. This time I picked up a book, started reading it, realized the writing felt flat but the story just seemed interesting enough to follow. But then it got more and more tedious, so how did I cheat? I skipped through it. I wanted to see where it was going and yes, if I had to be absolutely honest, I wanted to get to the sexy parts. Because, hello, reverse harem, right? There was bound to be sexy stuff in this damn unreadable book. Sure, it might seem a bit desperate, but hey, I'm on a dry spell, so don't judge! So I skipped paragraphs, I skipped pages, I skipped dreadful inner monologues just to find out... Wait for it. Waaiit for it... There was no sex! Hell, this was not what I expected when I picked up a reverse harem book. But then I thought, well, there's like five books in the series, maybe the author was just taking it slow. Right? So I skipped through the second book too, reading enough that I saw how the story progressed, how the characters fared. And I maybe got to like 80 % or so and then I stomped my feet and said: "Enough is enough". I couldn't handle the bad writing and the annoying as hell MH, and still - no sex. So I DNFed it. I couldn't even cheat all the way through. So there, I'm a half-way cheater! Over and out

There is also the fact that she identified the males with numbers. I don't know if it's a secret RH rule that I don't know of, but the last 3 that I read all had male characters identified with numbers. Emelle also reminded me of Willa in Trickery. They both are clumsy (though Willa is definitely the worse) and they have a tendency to say anything that comes to their mind, without any filter. Emelle is quirky, funny and a great main character, she made me laugh out loud many times. The writing is just so casual and light, I loved it! I like the fact that this story is based on Cupid and his power to gift love and/or lust. Emelle is one of many cupids, and she is bored with her job. Since she does not meet her quotas, she is sent to a Fae realm as punishment. Of course, she gets in trouble because she is so clumsy, and she ends up being held prisoner by 3 sexy male Genfins. They seem like assholes at first, but they grew on me. I liked Evert's flirt and teasing, Sylred kind and caring personality, and even broody Ronak became likable as the story moved forward. Anyway... It is a very enjoyable book, funny, light and quick to read.

So funny, cute, and I ate it all up! You'd think being a cupid would be all kind of fun. Shooting people with arrows all freaking day would ease the anger from terrible break ups - right? Emelle has had enough of people's shit. She gets in trouble while roaming the human world and is sent to fae world. There she thinks she has finally made it. Has she finally found the perfect couple? Nope, everything goes wrong. She gets so freaking mad that she just continually shoots arrows at this guy, who happens to be a prince. He doesn't take it too kindly because he somehow knows he's getting hit with something. Fast forward a couple of seconds, and she's falling after getting hit by his magic. Eventually she lands-ish in pretty bad shape. Luckily for her, she has three gorgeous men to sort of take her. However, they actually keep her as prisoner because they don't trust the demon that fell from the sky. Throughout her stay, she eventually worms her way into their hearts. There's so much sexual tension in this book between this group of people. I wanted something to happen.. and what I got was a kiss. A FREAKING KISS. I wanted more and I demand more.. so maybe I will get that in the next book?? Maybe. Other than that, I love Emelle. She's hilarious. Then there's Not-First, Second, and Third and they were pretty great too. After the ending, I have a couple of questions that I hope will be answered in book 2.

this was actually really fun, but first things first: this is practically the same book as Four Psychos. the same storyline, same heroine, same relationship, etc. still, i guess that made it a good story! Okay, if you like C.M. Owen's...errr...I mean Kristy Cunning's The Dark Side series (Four Psychos, Three Trials, Two Kingdoms), then you will probably like Kennedy's Heart Hassle series. The thing is though, you will probably pick up on a lot of similarities too. The similarities were enough that at times I wondered if Kennedy straight up stole some pages out of Cunning's book, but Kennedy delivered an intriguing enough of a story that I actually didn't care if she did. The H is ridiculous and annoying, but she made me laugh. Rather than wishing her death, which I normally do with weak and annoying female leads, I actually found myself rooting for her. She is a klutz and absurd, but I couldn't find myself hating her for that. This series is a reverse harem series (my new addiction), and I found myself very intrigued by each of the guys that are the potential harem. As with most RH series, we are given the "nice" one, the "carefree" one, and the oh so "alpha male tortured soul" one. With that being said though, I think we might also get a "mysterious" one too. I'm not too sure where the author is planning on taking this series, but I like what she's cooking up so far. I wouldn't call this super slow burn, because we get some super charged moments, but it's no insta-love either (THANK GOD); there are no sexy times in the book. If you are looking to get your rocks off by reading this book...you are going to be sorely disappointed. I had a lot of fun while reading this, and I'm looking forward to the next in the series (whenever the hell that may be).

I am pleasantly surprised by this book. A couple of reviews I read said it was similar to Four Psychos but I didn't see it. Yes,she was invincible like Paca and she had a fun personality but IMO that's where it all ends. RH on a whole is a hit or miss, you have to be convincing pairing up 3-6 guys with one girl and I felt this book really sold on that. I thought I was going to find it passable but I enjoyed it. Distrust leads to her being attacked and tied up but sge eventually wins them over. But the Prince refuses to give up searching for the creature that attacked him and the h and her beaus go through many trials before getting their HEA. ******* I absolutely loved book 1 in this series, the h's voice was fricking hilarious and I had many laugh out loud moments. 4 stars for a book with no sex is a lot for me 😂. I loved the originality of the plot as I'd never read about a cupid mc before. I enjoyed the freshness of her role and her hilarious voice. Now book 2 threw me for a loop with the addition of another male especially as he was a completely different species as well as the insta connection but I rolled with it because he was a sweetheart. After a bit of a boring start it picked up and delivered great humor with some heat. 3.5* By book 3 however what had been amusing just became overdone and annoying and I was so sad at this installment. After enjoying the first couple books I really wanted to like book 3 but the humor started to feel crass as well as the book felt drawn out for no reason. I mean they'd have sex at the weirdest times and they'd be just waiting around while so much was happening around them it just couldn't be believed. Also it reeked of convenience as the h developed so many awesome powers that she took forever to effectively use. Humor can only take you so far 2.5* Book 3.5 was almost cute, an extended epilogue we get to see the family living together and cute babies but again some of the humor was just reaching a bit too much. I however love an epilogue so 3.5* in gratitude All in all maybe if this had been a duet plus the extended epilogue I might've been able to maintain the high ofbook 1 straight to the end. RH

Emelle is a discontented cupid. She thought spreading love through the world would be romantic and fun, but quickly got jaded when confronted with a bunch of womanizers, cheaters, etc. She's lost her faith. Emelle gets a little angry and (view spoiler)[ shoots him full of love arrows. He retaliates with a blast of raw magic that turns Emelle corporeal. She escapes the palace and falls onto an island where three good-looking genfins have been banished. At first, they treat her like a prisoner but eventually form a friendship and agree to help her avoid the Prince who is still hunting her. (hide spoiler)] I enjoyed this book! I liked Emelle - she's funny, fun, quirky, and sassy. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I even liked it when she was whiny - it was funny at the time. The premise is different too, and I even liked the slow burn of it. I think I might have been annoyed if she just slept with everyone in sight when she became corporeal. Clearly, these genfin guys are her harem, but so far I only think Evert and Sylred are on board. Ronak seems to be inaccessible still. I'm looking forward to seeing how things progress in the next book.

This was a surprisingly enjoyable read! All of the reviews point out similarities between two reasonably big hitters in the RH world, the Curse the Gods series (many people's gateway drug to RH) and the Four Psychos series. However, for me this didn't feel like a rip off of those books, as the writer may have used similar characteristics (intentional or not, I'm not sure) but she did her own thing with it on the whole. Putting that aside, this was a fun, light read, with a MC who was likeable in her vulnerability and naiveity and the three men who were all characters in their own right. There was some good build.uo.on tension and no insta-love! I really liked the way the relationships were forming and the tension was done just right. This also made my laugh aloud many times, which was nice! Overall, this doesn't have the emotional depth of say the Redemption Saga, but it's entertaining, the whole cupid thing is quite original and the romance is done just right for my tastes, so I would definitely recommend RH fans who have exhausted a lot of the genre give this a go if they haven't already!

People wish and the stars try to grant, but even as the stars sacrifice themselves and fall, so many wishes are wasted, just as so much love is lost. This was pretty good but I had a hard time getting into it, and I'm not sure why. I liked Emelle, I liked the guys, the story moved along at a decent pace, the cupid job thing was interesting, and most importantly it made me laugh. Maybe it's that it reminded me of The Dark Side series. And I'm not saying it was ripped off or anything like that, I just found myself comparing them. Invisible girl no one can see for years who has no recollection of her past and no name, sudden physical body that is way harder to control than the incorporeal one, ranking the guys you are inexplicably attached to… I guess that's really it, but I still found myself comparing the two. Even with that, the book was good, and I'm willing to see where it goes, but I'm hoping to see a step up in the romance department. I know it says it's a slow-burn, but it's gotta kick the burn up to keep me interested. "I say we tie her up," First says to the others. "What?" I squeak. "Tie me up? For what?" He ignores me. Okay, so mister strong and sexy is a jerk. Surprise, surprise. I snap my fingers in front of his face to get his attention. Except I can't really snap since I've never done it before, so my fingers make a weird, fumbling motion minus the sound. Still, it makes First look back down at me, so that's a win. "Hey. I asked you a question. Tie me up for what? I don't want to be tied up," I tell him. Then I consider it. "Well, unless it's for, like, some hot bondage-type stuff. I might be okay with that. Except you'll have to go easy on me for the first time. I'm new to all this. Plus, I'm injured. We'll need a safeword. How about pineapple?" Because it's always pineapple. I'm rambling, right? I think I'm rambling. Ouch, I hurt everywhere. He just stares at me. And stares. And stares. ~ He looks like he wants to devour me, and I'm pretty sure I'd like to be. "You think it's fun tormenting me, Scratch?" "A little, yeah." He reaches forward and grabs my hand, and then slowly lifts my finger to his mouth. He puts it in his mouth and sucks the rest of the fruit juice off it in a delicious swirl of his hot, wet tongue. Annnd my love lips just filled with lady lava. He releases my finger and leans back with a triumphantly smug look on his face. Whatever expression he sees on mine makes him chuckle darkly. "Whatever you do to me, I'll match and raise you, Scratch. Remember that." Gods, I hope that's a promise. ~ When I finally make it to him, he says, "Glad you could join me." "I aim to please," I say dryly. "Now what? My wings are already sore from practicing flying earlier. I'm telling you, I can't do more. I have to practice in small bursts. You might have a cute little kitty tail, but these bad boys are heavy and take a lot of effort to use." He looks at me incredulously. "Cute little kitty tail?" "Yeah. It's adorable," I say, watching it flit back and forth behind him. "Can I pet it?" He makes a weird choking sound. "Whoa. Are you going to have a fit or something?" "I…you…" "What? Is petting your tail like a no-go? I haven't read the genfin rulebook. Is it off-limits? Too bad. It looks so soft. Maybe when I get out of here, I'll find some other genfin who will let me pet his tail. Or I bet Evert will let me pet his." "Fucking hell." "What's the big deal?" He pinches the bridge of his nose with his fingers and takes a deep breath. "Just…stop talking." "Okie dokie kitty cat." He shakes his head at me while I try really hard not to smile. ~ "Now stop coming up with excuses and run." Dammit. I'm losing here. I look around at the other guys, but they're too busy pretending to do their own thing than to rescue me from having to run. Chivalry is dead. Then a thought pops into my head, and I snap my head back to Ronak. "Boobs!" I shout loudly. He looks taken aback by my outburst. I'm pretty sure the other guys are looking over at me, too. That word has a lot of power. Ronak sighs. "…What?" I hold my boobs up with my hands as if I'm putting them on display for him. "Boobs. I have them. It'll hurt if I run. They'll be bouncing around like balls," I explain, tilting my head in thought. "Well…not those balls," I say, motioning toward his groin area. "But you get what I'm saying. Or maybe those do bounce around when you run, too. I have no idea. Do they?" He looks at me like I've grown two heads. I hear Evert start laughing. I'm not embarrassed, I'm actually really curious. I mean, their pants don't look tight enough to really hold everything together. But maybe I'm wrong? Or maybe Ronak has tiny balls so it doesn't bother him? The way Ronak is watching me doesn't bode well for me to get any answers, though. He rubs his eyebrows like I'm giving him a headache. "Demon, just run before I wrap my hands around you neck and start shaking." I ignore the demon thing. I'm going to pretend it's a term of endearment from now on. "Fine. But if my boobs hurt later, it's your fault." "I can always message them for you, Scratch," Evert calls over. Such a gentleman. "I'll pass," I say back. I totally wouldn't pass.

*Reread Review* Well I decided to go ahead and 5 star this book on my reread.. I mean lets get real this book has started a lifetime love of Raven Kennedy and her books so I might as well bump it up to reflect my true feels. I will say that for my reread I decided to give the Audible version a try and just see if Raven found a narrator that could do Emelle justice. I have to say Melissa Schwairy did a pretty dang good job capturing Emelle in all her hawtmess forms.. Especially all her introspective humor, and the freaking word vomit. It just gets me every time! *Original Review* This book was incredible! Sooo fun! Euphoric! Emelle is my new girl crush! This is me raving about yet another book! This story is original and fun! Emelle a Cupid angel who is falling out of love with love. Always on the out skirts she really gets to see how people use and manipulate love and she is fed up. Called back to her base of operations, new management sends her to the fae realm after she becomes so disgusted with humans and their shenanigans. She starts over doing what she does best spreading the love never getting to experience it herself when once again she is let down. She gets crazy mad and starts shooting off love arrows left and right but something happens and magic makes her corporeal. Her innocent and hilarious journey ensues! I can’t wait till the next one! I think I wanna be besties with this author!

Close, but no cigar. I felt like this was honestly just so similar to Curse of the Gods that it was off putting. Also, I wasn't really a fan of the main character's inner monologue. It got boring and repetitive over time. However, if I hadn't read the other series first, I would perhaps be intrigued by this. Close, but no cigar. I’m not sure why, but I love that the author put what age she recommends the book for, and that it’ll end on a cliffhanger lol.

This turned out funnier than I expected. Emelle is right behind Willa on my list.  I really like the author's world that she had created. There were a few grammar mistakes but nothing that really jumped out and ruin the book.  I can understand why Emelle got bitter with her job. Having to live decades spreading love and desire and have no one to talk to, no one to fall in love with you. It would get extremely lonely. The best part is she is not alone. Many other cupids are in trouble but when she This turned out funnier than I expected. Emelle is right behind Willa on my list.  I really like the author's world that she had created. I found myself smiling at several scenes and of course if I had to choose a favorite of the guys it would be Evert. He's just so funny and a huge flirt with Emelle. Hopefully we get some more action in the second book.

What a fun read.. So, I read that this RH book is a little like two of my favorite RH series and I was a little hesitant with reading this because I assumed it would be a blatant rip off of my other two favorite RH series but I was completely wrong. Crazy for Books (Stephanie)

This was a book that was a recommendation for readers who like Alanea Alder or Shelly Laurenston. It was cute and I'm interested to see where the story will go. But, I'm also not happy that I've started reading the book, liking the series so far, and the third book isn't available and ready for me to dive into once I finish the second book. Okkkk soo there were some similarities to a um certain other book but at the same time many differences plus I mean in PNR books (RH or not) there are always going to be similarities sadly. Because it makes sense. She's always been a social creature but forced to suffer alone with no one to touch, see her, smell, taste, talk to etc etc, that takes its tole on a psyche after so many decades. But she had me dying laughing in both books and I can't wait for the third. The guys were the typical RH males so nothing really special other than well I like them lol.

LOVED. IT. I loved her, she´s so different from everything I've read so far. She´s clumsy, funny, quick, witty and very HONEST. My kind of main female character. The plot of this story was genius and really easy to read, if you do not want to think about anything I really recommend this book. Its HOT, I completely fell in love with the characters in this book, the thing is that they each had a completely different personality! I felt like I was seriously getting to know these guys. To be honest I had no expectations at all, so this was a very nice surprise. I finished both books in ONE day, I couldn't put them down, you just really want to know what happens and you get really attached to the main character. The autor wrote this in a way that I felt like I was living everything through her. Its not perfect, I've read many books like this one, but this one has something special, I laughed out loud many times, it made me feel all kinds of emotions. Its funny, HOT hot hot, not what you expect, and a little weird but good weird, it mixed a lot of paranormal themes, from faeries, angels and humans. 5 letters: EVERT

5 Stars Overall Rating ★★★★★ Plot ★★★★★ Humor ★★★★★ Characters & Character Development ★★★★★ Narration ★★★★★ Story: Characters - Emelle, Sylred, Evert, Ronak... Some say it reminds them of Curse of the Gods but aside from a life force bond, that's really all that was similar to me. I also found a similarity with The Dark Side because Emelle had to learn how to be in the physical world. That was extremely interesting to see because you don't know what all these feelings are since you've never been able to feel anything. I really can't wait to see what happens next. This was overall just a fun book to read. If you love to laugh and you love Reverse Harem, definitely read this one. Even though there was no sex in this book, it had everything that I needed. This book set the foundation and I hope there will be sex in the next book. Narration: Melissa Schwairy - I absolutely loved this narrator. I cannot wait to see what she narrates next and I can't wait to hear the 2nd book of this series.

This is actually one of my FAVORITE RH's out there. It's in my TOP 5 list of worthy RH seriesesses (that's not a word, I know). TBH, I had my popcorn ready for Lady Soora and Prince Elphar's castle drama. I ate that up like it was candy. If we could please have a book written about them, Raven. Thanks in advance. XO I was under the belief that Emelle would be Willa (Curse of the Gods) stupid but she wasn't. I also saw little relation between her and Paca (Four Psychos), Paca was much funnier. EMELLE WAS HERSELF- and I loved her. I do think the guys could use improvement, however. If I am being honest. Starting with Ronak. I loved all of their names. I would like to see a decline in the use of the first three letters S-Y-L in harem men's names as my brain instantly fixates on SYLVIA. Evert is now my favorite harem men name, coming in third place. The first place goes to Aros, second to Siret. You can see I have a preference. ;) This book was turn after turn of events in which I found mainly interesting. I was always excited to see what would happen next. Loved the humor. Loved Emelle. Loved the fact that she has pink hair- I want pink hair. Ugh. Job won't let me. I am excited for book 2.

Well I absolutely loved this book. The heroine was amazing, snarky and so prone to word vomit it’s not funny. I fell in love with this book early on when the heroine so bluntly dropped that she liked to start orgies when bored. It only got funnier from there. After being banished to the Fae realm she’s actually excited for all the love she can spread or orgies she can start. The human realm wasn’t all she hoped what with rampant infidelity and people falling in and out of love so quick she felt useless. Her purpose becomes creating a lasting love between the Fae Prince and his Princess. But turns out the prince is a total douche and well, Emelle doesn’t like that at all and she kind of loses her shit. She was honestly so damn fun and I cannot wait to see where the story goes-from here. She now finds herself anchors to three hotties stuck on an island who she may or may not (want to admit) she likes. However the trios banishment is soon to end leaving Emelle’s Future highly uncertain and I’m ready for what else is to come.

As someone who doesn’t like Reverse Harem I have been reading a lot!!!! of that lately. I think I’m just trying to find “The perfect one” but I’m getting the feeling the problem is with me. It was a great read, the world was rich and the characters firm, and I could really feel the bond growing between them all. The one thing I was missing was one on one romance which is stupid because clearly this is not the genre. A very cute book if you like this stuff and since some issues were not solved, some As someone who doesn’t like Reverse Harem I have been reading a lot!!!! of that lately. This is a great series! It’s hot, entertaining, FUNNY, sad, cute, angsty - I loved reading this one. I usually get tired of series, but this one just kept holding my interest all the way! So she’s not a very good cupid (by choice), but decides to create a love match between prince Elphar and princess Soora. This does not go as planned and circumstances has it that Emme ends up in a human body on an island occupied by three genfins. Fortunately these three are very hot (and somewhat kind 😉) males! ”He cocks a brow. “It’s going to take more than a tiny wooden dagger to take me down, little demon.” I scoff. “I beg to differ. I just saw your life flash before my eyes. Death was nearly imminent.” “You’re a weird female.” “Does weird mean awesome in genfin speak?” “No.” Emme is seriously one of the most insane and funny heroine ever. She is totally nuts! 😂 And the three males: Salred (kind and gentle), Evert (dirty talker, funny guy) and Ronak (silent and deadly) ”I lied,” he whispers in my ear. A confused frown crosses my face. “What?” “When I said I wouldn’t look. I lied.” When his words sink in, my cheeks flame with embarrassment, but I can’t look away from his heated gaze. “You are pretty fucking gorgeous.” You have to read all parts of this series to get a total experience. - Part one has not sex. - It’s strength is the hilarious dialogues and developing of characters/story telling - Easy read with a HEA - No cheating - OW/OM drama: Not really - Heroines POV but bonus content from all the males trough out the series - Threesome/Foursome, no gay, oral, anal

I liked this. Finally, I found a story that has a plot, interesting characters and a budding romance. I liked ML's personality and her sarcasm. I audibly laughed while reading. ML is really funny which makes sense because she's spent years not being able to talk to anyone. She's learning how to do normal stuff such as bathing and eating. I really liked how protective Second and Third were when ML was learning how to fly. That was one of my fav scenes. I didn't like that First or Not First was os I liked this. I didn't like that First or Not First was ostracizing himself from the group, but at the end, I understood. He should feel guilty, but ML should be able to tie everyone together again. ML is so relatable too. Her complete aversion to working out is literally me. I like the direction the story is going, but I'm content with stopping at book one. I read the synopsis for book 2 and 3 and I'm good with how the story is.

Can't get enough of this! I so enjoyed reading this book! The main character, Emelle, is snarky, funny, and a lot of fun to read about. The romance is definitely a slow burn, but I loved the flirting and teasing she has with the guys. You can see their bond growing and I can't wait to see what happens next! Can't get enough of this!
