I liked this story set in West Virginia. It's full of corrupt officials, money laundering, PTA moms, and family mobsters. And there's a set of cousins that like to get involved in the investigation. At its core, it is a book about family and helping each other, which is a great thing. Clare's life has changed from her jet setting life to that of being Ed ' s fiancee and mom to four girls. This story brings us more of mature, abiding love than that exciting, tense, exhilarating first bloom of romance and each cousin is given time to reflect on the changes they're facing so all of us who love Rose Hill can understand and accept the changes that may come. I always hate for my visit to Rose Hill to end because I know I can't return for a year but I do look forward to joining the Rose Hill family again.

Loved it!!!!! Sat down and re-read the entire series again. It was just as good the second time. Pam you are really one of my favorite authors. This last book had me a bit nervous (won't spoil it) but I can foresee many more adventures ahead. Loved it!!!!! Sat down and re-read the entire series again. It was just as good the second time. The latest book in the Rose Hill Mystery Series does not disappoint. In addition to the continuing family saga and Everyman challenges and dilemmas, the residents of Rose Hill are fighting political corruption and the mob to protect the integrity of their town and its citizens. The Fitzpatrick cousins remain up to the task in the face of obvious danger. The family is facing new challenges (adoption, separation due to work, aging parents), but their love continues to bind them together. Kudos to Pamela Grandstaff for taking on a challenging topic straight off the front page - political corruption and dirty politicians - in the genre of cozy mystery. She does it beautifully without losing the heart and tone of our beloved small town and its residents. It's just so hard to wait for the next book in the series!

Rose Hill at it's best Pamela inserted characters in each book as a subtext to the main characters. They were slowly developed in a way that enhanced the core of Rose Hill while finding news plots with enough twists and turns to keep the reader looking for more. This is a series about family, with all the quirks that love and loyalty bring on. A series of hardships and struggles, but mostly about love, resilience and change. The author tied up the loose ends in this latest book. I am torn between Rose Hill at it's best Pamela inserted characters in each book as a subtext to the main characters. I really liked this book as I have all the other Rose Hill mysteries. I read Punpkin Ridge just before this one and am totally immersed in the lives of the Fitzparick cousins, Hannah, Maggie and Clare. Each now have an enduring love relationship and their children are getting older. This book was filled with political intrigue, corruption in West Virginia State government, and sleuthing by the cousins. The situation seems ripped from current news. Another Gem! I am thrilled there is a book 12 in this series. Humor, quirky characters and intricate plots abound. There are so many bon mots in these books that I keep having to stop and copy them. Lotus Avenue certainly exemplifies the funny, exciting nature of the series. However it does talk about some changes happening in Rose Hill. I can’t wait to get to book 12 so I gotta go.

Excellent series I stumbled across this series, as it usually doesn't fit my reading list. I am so grateful I did! These books have characters so well fleshed out can't help but want to follow it through. There are mysteries, not the "cozy" kind, but really interesting. It's about "real life", messy, loving, brilliant, nasty, and how important friends\family are. Excellent series I stumbled across this series, as it usually doesn't fit my reading list. Another great book. I am so sad I finished it. The Rise Hill stories are so great. I love visiting the Fitzpatrick clan. I can't wait until next year for the next one to come out. It was a well written story. It is like you get to spend a part of your life with favorite family members. Thank you Pamela. Another great book. I am so sad I finished it. Hooked for life. I read all 11 books in about 6 days. I became so emotionally attached to all of the characters that, now I feel a piece of me is missing. I’m hoping the Rosehill Mystery Series will continue! Looking forward to more adventures.

What to say about this series. I almost didn’t make it through Rose Hill. So glad I did because I developed a relationship with the Fitzgeralds. Mystery, love story but mostly family drama. So glad the story will continue this month.

Enjoyed I just finished the 11th book in this series. Eleven! Obviously b I've enjoyed reading them. I think they are less formulaic than others in this genre, and you really do learn to know the characters and look forward to the next adventure. I recommend them wholeheartedly.
