Ok, audiobook. I look forward to exploring more of dark psychology...

A short read too lengthy in the beginning. Does contain interesting information but rather superficial. Needs more examples and in-depth explanation.

I did find this very interesting: short and to a point with simple language and definitions that allow me, my mom, and my moms mom to understand the consequence of language (I think this is my favorite about this book: the simple language). Similar to what other reviewers are saying it read more of a guidance to lead you to other research areas as opposed to being dependant or citing it. I would have probably found it more worthwhile as some reseach blog on the internet than an actual book thoug I did find this very interesting: short and to a point with simple language and definitions that allow me, my mom, and my moms mom to understand the consequence of language (I think this is my favorite about this book: the simple language). I find the urge to simplify such acvanced and multi layered knowledges, topics and situations horribly damaging to the public health, to the people who are seeking answers to why or how without a larger base of knowledge of the psychiatric symptomps and diagnostics in particular. There are no simple answers or solutions to advanced problems. I do not recommend this kind of terribly stigmatising litterature to anyone.

Short and to the point. The title makes this seem like a how to book, but it reads more like a warning to beware of highly manipulative people and how to guard against them. I learned several new things from this book. The first of which was about neuro-linguistic programming. Also learned about several manipulative personality disorders. I would have liked it to be more in depth, however it gives me several ideas to research more in depth in other more scholarly works.

Well, it is a very good small book. The only downside for me that it doesn't contain more real life examples. Basically it's telling you a little bit about Neuro Logical Programming, what types of manipluation techniques are there and few personality traits that are worth mentioning and are worth to know them. Using a certain kind of persuasion, the society are divided into two type, low Machs normal people who prefer no persuasion and high Machs that thrives on persuasion and cunning personalities. The book determines the characteristic of a person with high persuasion iq and the normal one in daily life. Weird book.

Reading this is more like reading an overall report than reading a book, which is about what I expected considering how tiny it is. It's neat that so many different things were pulled together and made applicable, but some of this is over simplified to the point that it's not really accurate or it's not really helpful in the form it's in. Overadvertises itself. Fine introduction into the subject but lacks depth.

Another Hoopla ebook I've listened to only because it is due today. In written form, this would be a booklet. Another Hoopla ebook I've listened to only because it is due today. In written form, this would be a booklet.
