Exceedingly few believers are conscious of possessing a spiritual gift, and even fewer know what their gift is or what to do about it. My third discovery is that few things can be of greater assistance to a Christian in setting his own priorities or discerning the will of God than knowing his own gift. I loved this scripture based take on spiritual gifts and their individual function for each believer as well as their function in the body as a whole. It helped me to understand and discern which gifts the Lord has given me!

Good, in depth explanation of Spiritual Gifts along with a well thought out and applicable exploration on the best way to develop your own Gifts! The language is a little dated, but that doesn't detract from its message. I have read this little book multiple times. It is out of print, but you can find used copies on the web. This book employs a simple yet thorough discussion of spiritual gifts. It holds to a cessationists position on some of the gifts, leaving the door open for their possible existence. This is the best book I have read on the subject.
