Amish romance at its best! I really enjoyed this story! There was great character development and just a bit of the melodrama and angst which is all too prevalent in this genre.

This is sort of a modern day romeo and Juliet set in Amish country. First boo y Sarah Price I have read. Enjoyable.

The best Romeo and Juliet ever. Finally a Romeo and Juliet story offering a beautiful solution instead of death. More than just a happy ending, Sarah offers up a true solution: forgiveness and love. The solution is powerful. Beautiful. Sarah never ceases to amaze me. She is superb.

Mending Fences is a sweet romance about a coming of age Amish girl and the grandson of a snarky old man that owns the farm next to her family's. Jane's family's cow's are often breaking the fence between the two farms, sending the old man into fits and showing how much he dislikes his neighbors. Jane & Reuben team up to find the reason the old man despises them. I love the story and the disposition of the Amish people. There is no profanity and no sex so it's suitable for almost any age. Another great read by Sarah Price. As always, Sarah's stories seem to reach places of my own struggles. This story spoke to many areas of my life situations. God's guidance in the lives of these two people, these two families, was a wake up call in my own life. I loved this book. Another great read by Sarah Price. Minding Fences is an Amish adaption of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. But don't worry unlike Romeo and Juliet which had a tragic ending this one ends on happily ever after.
