You have put the buyer at the center of the sales process and meet their needs. It's also filled with examples so he doesn't just tell you a process, but gives a real life example of how it works...which makes it so applicable.     High marks from this reader! After doing some research on big hitters in the sales industry, I came across Lance Tyson and picked up his book. This man has really laid forth a great strategy for sales, from the basics to higher level concepts, he provides tips on how to sell better. Period. Understanding the customer and meeting them where they are is key, and this book really details ways to do this better, and in turn, yield better sales results. Without knowing the author’s credentials, however, the book feels authoritative and truthful. It is at times difficult to separate the author’s credentials, though. At times it does feel slightly self-indulgent. This can be forgiven as Tyson has the authority and skillset needed, and it is important to establish who he is and why he can talk about his successes in the foreword. Yet, as forgivable as this is, it can still be glaring. At time it feels more like an opportunity to drop names than efficiently and systematically talk about the nuances of the market. With this, yes, the nuances of the market are explored, but this simply makes some of the book feel superficial. It must be praised, though, that this book is great for any budding businessperson and that it does supplement or teach insight. This cannot be praised enough, as insight is a difficult thing to teach. This book doesn’t take a “you either have it or you don’t” approach, instead it trusts the reader that they can learn the skills or already have some of them in the first place. Lance Tyson has done something impressive in converting his experiences into a thoughtful and helpful book, sometimes the book simply gets a slight bit excited.

The Author tries in this book to point out some vital steps to take as a marketer to improve sales and become accomplished. With the growth in technology, it has become more difficult to convince people to purchase a product. Tyson however, took his time to break down his ideas into various heading that deals critically with step-by-step methods to become a successful salesman and begin to yield a result in your sales. It interests me to know from this book that as a salesperson, you don’t have all the time to impress. It takes just a few seconds to be able to buy the attention of a potential client.
