Great Story! Author Adele Abbott has maintained the same excellence of writing, storylines and character definition throughout this wonderful and fanciful series! While each books stands well one it's own merit, as a series proves the adage that the sum is far greater than the parts. Keep up the excellent work!! Great Story! Snark, British humor and cliffhangers I think I'm done with this series. I enjoy some of the humor, but not all. I used to enjoy the mysteries, but not so much anymore. Leaving a plot line unfinished so we have to read the next book is my end point. I'm sure plenty of others will continue to enjoy these stories. Jill Maxwell formally Jill Gooder is a private investigator in a town in England. Xiao so happens to be a witch. She was raised in the human world by her adoptive family and learned how to be a private investigator from her adoptive father. She took over her father’s business after he died. At a later date she met her birth mother who passed on her magic to Jill. Jill soon found out that she actually had family living in a paranormal town not far from where she lives. A crazy grandmother as well as an aunt and two cousins. She soon starts solving mysteries and crimes in the human world as well as the paranormal world. Follow along as Jill uses her magic to solve crimes in both worlds. Her character is a witty as well as a bit sarcastic and fun character. On occasion the character Will even make snarky comments to the reader. Very entertaining with plenty of mystery and magic. Check it out

Jill’s nightmares are coming true How can one witch take on so many problems at once? Well Jill does it all! Its bad enough that someone is painting her name all over town, and someone is selling bad blood to vampires, Ma Chivers and Grandma is giving her fits, her sister and Winky are as manipulative as usual and her friend us accused of murder. And a dragon is flying around CASS. What could go wrong? Dana Pratt

Jill is a witch The graffiti was popping up around town and no sooner had she had the graffiti covered than it appeared again. Who was doing the painting was just one of many mysteries in this book. Plus a murder to solve and clowns to avoid. I enjoyed reading this book and all of the antics of Winky, Grandma and the rest of the crew.

Struggling with her secondary relationships I wish Jill would grow a backbone where Winky is concerned. I get their dynamic, but he is a cat that she rescued. She should put him in his place a little more often.

Witch is ... books the best! LOVE these books! Jill gets into the most interesting fixes usually without trying. Hope they stay as fresh as they are now and keep on going. Cant wait for 11/23!

Aaaargh! Winky. No Jill, do not pay Winky back. YES, pay Jack back. Best episode for a long time. Jill is finally starting to act somewhat adultish and the mystery part of the story was very well written. Jill also seems to be truly getting a handle on her witch side.

So entertaining I like how easy it is to follow this book series through interruptions. The humor is also a help, keeps it light reading, which is why it’s easy to jump in and out of.

I'm done with this series. It's become a poor shell of itself. They're not well written, the attempts at humor fall flat, and the characters are annoying as hell. I'm done with this series. Easy read The series is a nice easy read. The mysteries are simple and easy. If you are in the mood for something light, this is a dood collection.

Witch is how the mirror lief Once again Jill had done it with very little magic. She would be a whole lot better off if she did use her powers.

Not enough time in the day. What a great story line. I’d like to know how she finds enough time to do all she does! Ah yes,she is a witch! (Which is how she gets things done.)

Graffiti Several twists that I had not expected. An unwilling graffiti artist, an over zealous neighbor and a supposed good deed gone wrong. Another day in the life of Jill!

Always exceptional, Winky and his schemes and lady loves, Grandma and her schemes too, and her sister Kathy and her schemes to rope Jill into events. So much fun.

Kinda cute - basic potato chip. No nutritional value, no brain engagement necessary. But it was kinda cute.

Mirror mirror on the wall Lost adult children, friends in prison, graffiti managed. Those snoopy crocheters and a clowns reckoning means never a dull week for Jill r the readers.

Mirror image Jill has some unique cases in this book. Grandma weasels a favour from Jill, and the twins have figured out a way to have a kid free day. This series is a must read!
