A perfect book to take with me on my upcoming trip to Paris: the copyright is recent, and the author knows all the right stuff.

Brought this with us on our last trip to Paris, and it helped us narrow down our expansive list of picks for the city, and opened our eyes to some phenomenal Parisan spots!

This was one of the best travel books I’ve ever read. I read it from cover to cover. Full disclosure: I just came back from Paris a month ago. Perhaps I should have read it before I left but the beauty of this book is it’s unique style. Even if you never plan to go to Paris you can enjoy this book. The photography is so delicious. Paris photos have a wonderful style all their own. It’s broken down into easily understood chapters relating to all aspects of food, cafe and entertainment. Short and sweet ( so many sweets) so it’s easy to pick up and put down. I didn’t ( couldn’t ) put it down. Yes, we are back but after reading this book, I’m already planning my next trip back. 5 croissants for this lovely read.

Such a stunning little guide about the best places to visit in Paris. I may never have travelled to Paris (yet), but flipping through these pages might be the next best thing. The only way it could have been better is if the author had included a section about bookstores and libraries.

Great for a high-level rundown on a curated list of where to go for great food/drink/service/atmosphere. I had already done quite a bit of research, but several spots I would have missed were added after tearing through this book - it took me less than an hour to read, no extra nonsense, just the info you want.

I should be reading the Mexico lonelyplanet but I was in a mood. Nice little book with several good recommendations, expecially cafes. I'm definitely going to try some of these places next time I'm in Paris. I should be reading the Mexico lonelyplanet but I was in a mood. Great guide to some of the best cafés in Paris. I used this book a lot when I lived five months in Paris and it never failed guiding me to new, cozy and great places for brunch, coffee and drinks.
