When a smaller pack was being threatened by rogues, he was asked to help, and so a peace treaty was signed through a marriage between him and the youngest daughter of the alpha of the silent moon pack, but who knew that she was his destined mate? Adelina Veraso dreamed of the day her mate would sweep her off her feet, take her in his warm embrace, shower her with hugs and kisses, and love her for who she was. But she never expected him to be a cold ass hole who loathed and insulted her, made love to his mistress instead of her, who treated her as though she was some animal, yet treated his mistress as though she was a queen. Awful I found this book via Facebook advertising. The blurb seemed interesting and I eventually tracked it down via Amazon/Kindle to avoid installing a book app I neither wanted or trusted. Poorly written, unnecessary back and forth drama, plot twist that a child could see coming and so unbelievable as to be laughable. There were a few elements that could have made for a decent story only the author seemed to miss them all in favour of more advance and retreat rubbish that has you just wishing it was over already. I don’t think English is the authors first language, though if it is, it makes it all the more tragic. The lead female was tragically innocent and yet a temptress *insert eye roll here* and she swung from seductress to deeply emotionally hurt and wounded so many times I had whiplash from reading it. She was irritatingly clueless and yet stubborn and strong willed. Save me from these tired tropes please! The female character’s story had a decent amount of potential but was overlooked and ignored in favour of the male character’s back story. A story that seemed to be the primary focus of his sudden personality shift and in complete contrast to his demeanour in the book’s initial setting. Overall, I gave it once star, it it deserved only half. Apparently there’s a sequel, but I won’t be reading it.

The overall concept for the book is relatively interesting, which is the only reason I'm willing to give it two stars (instead of just one). The parts that I'm not comfortable with (and, in fact, hate) are where Demitrey abuses Adelina. I don't care what his reasons were (which are addressed later in the book); he could've been cold and standoffish towards her instead of physically (and verbally) abusing her. Despite the description on Amazon stating that "this book has been revised and edited," The overall concept for the book is relatively interesting, which is the only reason I'm willing to give it two stars (instead of just one). Despite the description on Amazon stating that "this book has been revised and edited," there are ***numerous*** grammatical errors. If this was, in fact, the "edited" version, I think Ms. Adrien needs to find a new (and significantly better) editor. There were also *numerous* places in the book that seemed to jump from point A to point Z with no explanation of why/how things happened. In my opinion, the story/book could definitely be improved with the help of transitions. All in all, I would NOT recommend purchasing this book. If you can get it for free, it might be worth a read - although that also depends on if you're OCD (like me) when it comes to grammar. I definitely don't think it's worth the $4.99 I paid.

Book is not finished I thought the book would have finished the story but paying 5.99 for a book that is only part of the story is not for me. When I start reading a book I like to complete it. It should have been indicated on amazon that this book is the first part of a series or something.

Big highs, big lows. First off, I want to give kudos to the author. Not only is the storyline quite good, there is an obvious amount of thought that went into this book. There are some obvious cliches, but the thing about cliches is that they exist because they work. However, there is no way that this book is worth the price. I cannot give this thing a star. Not even a fraction of a star. Only reason I read it *and* the sequel is that I cannot pry myself away from tragedies. Parts one and two could become like three different trilogies because so many ideas and plots have been squished together ending up like an unfinished nanowrimo cockup. The erotic scenes have some nice feels but the language in them is somehow offputting and feels immature. I find myself very angry on behalf of these characters. They have been abused and traumatized, but the author just seems to use this fact only as a background. The author never actually really describes their behaviour, thoughts and actions correctly in light of their trauma and abuse. And I know people who have backgrounds like violent parents, addicted families, mental sicknesses, incest. These things affect the whole being and if one wishes to write about these things one should Always be mindful of that. I’m not saying one should experience everything firsthand but learning about trauma behaviour Before writing about it is a good way to start Actually writing about it.

If I can teach anything in this short time, I would beseech her to learn that contractions use apostrophes, not quotation marks. It's just one button over on the keyboard. And for God's sake, proofread your work before hitting the publish button. I am frequently appalled by the way writers eviscerate the English language these days. As well, I am equally appalled by those who give high ratings to work such as this. It's no favor to the writer who should be constantly working to improve her skill. And it's an insult to the true wordsmiths who have worked hard to perfect their craft, and who have rightfully earned those stars.

There's no real explanation or understanding of why everyone hates the heroine and the flip flopping of the Hero is also kind of unexplained. There's lots of action and drama, twistsa and turns and even some decent romance building, but it all needs a little something more. I finished and will be continuing on to the sequel just because I need to know what happens. Hopefully it is a bit easier to read.

Book follows Adelina and Demitrey; I actually enjoyed it more than I thought it would. The kindle book is not very polished. The actual story isn't bad, it just feels like it needed a good editor. The format was not very professional. Omg... really? I found this book on an app called Dreame but then I decided to waste $5.99 to buy it because I thought it was great. What I didn't know at the time is the editing is horrifying as well as the layout of the book. Also, it is so contradictory. The author couldn't make up her mind and didn't think certain things through. For instance, the Luna is 5'2 and I am assuming the Alpha is a huge guys about 6 feet or more. Just no Where do I even begin? I wouldn’t give it a whole star if possible. The glaringly obvious lack of editing in this book made it very difficult to read. Then there’s Adelina, who is portrayed as someone much younger and extremely immature. That alone was off putting. Add in constant bickering between Demitrey and Adelina and the result is a book with a predictable and worn out plot. I’ve never felt compelled to skip a whole chapter in a book, except for this one. I gave this book 2 stars because the storyline was interesting at the start, so I kept reading to see how the story unfolded. While the storyline is intriguing, there were things that detracted from how good this story should/could have been. SPOILERS: what I disliked! The incestuous relationship between the father of the main h (Adelina) and her sisters. There’s not much background info about Adelina’s family besides the fact that her parents didn’t want her and mistreated her. The father is Alpha of his own pack, that needs an ally when facing trouble with another pack. This leads him to reach out to the Red Moon Pack’s Alpha, Demitrey. He’s known for his ruthlessness and he agrees to help. In return, he is given Adelina. Unbeknownst to Demitrey, he is Given Adelina because she is the one sibling that is unwanted and she fights off the father’s sexual advances! Adelina is also disliked by her mom and sisters. Her only source of support is a close friend/ex, named Peter. They’re very close until Peter meets his fated mate and Adelina backs off to give them a chance to bond and prove she’s no threat. Eventually, Peter’s mate seemingly comes to like Adelina and builds a friendship with her. When she is told she will be mates to Demitrey, she runs to Peter and his mate for comfort. She’s so naive that she doesn’t realize Peter is secretly in love with her, his mate knows it and hides her hate for the woman who holds her mates heart. When Demitrey picks her up, he’s full of rudeness and disdain for her. However, when he touches her skin by accident, they both feel the mate bond. Demitrey refuses to acknowledge it and Adelina doesn’t understand why. Upon arrival at her new pack home, she is given a list of ridiculous rules that she must follow, which include that she must respect his mistress, must not leave her room, must not speak unless spoken to and must not come in contact with any males in the pack!!! The mistress is such a witch that she slaps Adelina and speaks disrespectfully to her, it Adelina gives as good as she gets and slapped her back. This sets Demitrey off and he sends her to her room but goes in later to address her behavior. Throughout this story, he grabbed her by the throat and slammed her up against a wall several times but then he would go back at night, sneak in her room and cuddle her in her sleep!?!? He fought the effects of the mate bond and disrespected Adelina in so many ways that she tried to reject him as her mate, but he refused to accept the rejection. So, you see a bit of why I disliked this book. The poor grammar was such an annoying thing that I found myself, constantly correcting the grammar in my mind, to get through the story! The author uses the tense wrong, as well as punctuation and phrasing. It’s also very wordy! There was no need to drag this story out! She added so many things unnecessarily and that’s when I started skimming, about midway through. She attends Peter’s wedding, with Demitrey as an escort because he thinks she will run away if he doesn’t escort her. His side chick shows up, even though no one knew where they were going and this changes things a great deal. Adelina, Peter and his mate plan an exit strategy. She knows that if she leaves, Demitrey will wage war on her old pack and she wants her bff’s safely away. Demitrey knows she’s going to run, confronts her, then gives her a mating bite, unexpectedly. Adelina is horrified and she runs away to Italy. Demitrey is devastated that she left! He treated her badly because his dad raised him to believe that a mates was a weakness, blah, blah, blah. His dad was an abusive psychopath that killed his mate, brutally abused Demitrey, who killed him in a fight! Sigh...every time I thought this would wrap up, some unnecessary foolishness would occur and prolong the ending. It was UNBELIEVABLE that Demitrey and his entire pack were kidnapped and locked in the dungeon for six months while an unknown enemy took over. The enemy wears a mask all the time and has a group of rogues as guards with prisoner being given wolf bane to incapacitate them. Suddenly,Demitrey attacks his side chick and comes up with a plan that allows one member to escape to find Adelina to help rescue the pack. She unwillingly returns because she’s so kindhearted but has no plans to take Demitrey back, even though she learns he rejected her because her life was secretly being threatened by an unknown enemy. The villain turns out to be Peter initially, then he’s killed by his mates cousin, V; who the monologued the entire plan to kill Adelina because Peter loved her. The wolves of Demitrey and Adelina have names and converse with each other. V shoots Adelina and she almost dies. It got ridiculous when V revealed the plot! I couldn’t finish it.

Due to most are self-published, they are usually full of misspellings, grammatical errors and confusing plot inconsistencies such as in this book where the author cannot choose whether six months has passed or two years (the unsurprising secret is that it is never correctly figured out to the reader). But if you overlook all the blunders and mishaps for this telling then you will find that this is quite an thrilling book if you like paranormal romances. But the book most definitely shines at the beginning due to the fact that it has plenty of unexpected plot twists and a sassy female protagonist who keeps pressing her luck even when facing the wrong sort of odds. The character building is a bit so-so for her characters are hit-and-miss. Adelina is well made but Demitrey is a bit harder to figure out although it is necessary for the story's build-up. But even when his motives comes out he also seems like a cardboard cutout and Jackson has more personality. Plus the secondary characters are also hit-and-miss such as Katharina's motives are never explained or does Cilia get much of a backstory as well. What intrigues me with these new werewolf-type stories like this is just how much changes have been made to werewolf lore. Humans and werewolves live in the same area but they also never explain whether the humans really know about them or there are just humongous packs roaming around massive regions of uninhabited land, which is against common knowledge of geography. At the same time for them being a creature of two souls the wolf is very rarely let out to play in these stories and when they rarely do transform into wolves most of the time it is for extreme measures or extreme emotions thus we don't see the wolves bonding with their mates but just the people. At the same time it seems that the wolf's superior senses are also lacking and that most of these plot twists at least in this story would have been undone if those senses had been in play just since wolves have a really good sense of smell. kil`` Another issue some readers may have with this book is the abuse and the character's portrayal of being naively innocent while believing love trumps all even abuse of all sorts. Although the following plot allows the heroine to mature and confront these issues face-on it still provides a questionable stand about whether past abuse should be forgiven by the injured party, especially if you are destined for each other. And finally the last thing that I would have changed with this particular book is where Irtania chose to end her book. The natural stopping point in my opinion would have also been a lot sooner than where it actually did end for the last few additional chapters would have been better off collected and used to start the sequel rather than extending the story after we reached a nice stopping point. All in all it was a decent nice read - less a romance but still inclusive of romance elements. In the end, though, with what I did find wrong I know I am not willing to pay the five dollars each to get the sequel and the third book to follow up and so this is where the story ends for me.

I really do think that the author should go back over everything and read it out loud, or at least request readers that would look for grammatical errors, I would honestly do it for free. The grammatical errors really get in the way of the plot, mixing up some characters in places, and not having the appropriate words becomes very frustrating. So the overall 2/5 star ratings will stand until the book has been edited. The Storyline The overall storyline was acceptable. I did continue reading due to the fact that I wanted to know how the story would turn out. Fair warning, there is a huge cliffhanger at the end, literally, the Grand Cayon sized cliffhanger. Adelina has so much growing to do when we first meet her, and throughout the story, she slowly, in a snail-like fashion, learns that she does not deserve the treatment she is receiving from her "mate" Demitrey (horrible guy). Adelina appears to be very mature at times, then at others, she seems childlike, complaining about her circumstances rather than fighting to get herself out. Demitrey has his own demons that he needs to conquer and I understand that at times we have shitty upbringings, but what he does to his mate is not called for. I believe he could've simply told her he didn't want her, had her agree and be stalkerish from afar until all problems were solved. Honestly the entire time Adelina is having her inner turmoil about this guy really pissed me off. I don't care if he was her mate, being treated like shit because of safety measures is never okay. Well as said before the grammatical errors really brought this book down, and Demitrey didn't help the scoring what-so-ever. I know that the last part is purely due to my feelings, but hey it is a review.

To be honest was this book ever edited? I can't believe the amount of errors there were in this book, it wasn't hard to figure out, but still annoying. Adelina is worth admiring in some cases but her gullible nature was too much and made it hard for me to take her seriously or even like her character. For a Luna I don't feel she would be leading my pack if I was a character in the book. You can't even trust her judgement, how is that going to make her a good leader? She also does a lot of running anyway when things get tough. There was a lot of twisted shit going on in this book which makes me wonder where the Author was going with this? Demitrey was supposed to be a fierce strong leader yet his mate comes along and turns him in to a week, sniveling, suicidal pup? I'm sorry, where is the Alpha who only knows pain? He should be handling his mistakes better than this. I could not stand his character after things switch up for him and he's found vulnerable leaving him to play the victim. Absolutley terrible... The only thing this story had going for it is the world that was being built. Yes this book ends with a cliff hanger and "not completing the bond" honestly I couldn't be more irritated right now. Also if I hadn't said this earlier, the characters are really Immiture. Some advice for the Author, don't take my criticism personally, I honestly look for mistakes authors make to help them improve, I'm really hard to impress. Your world building is creative, though I do wish you would slow down and spend a little more time on your characters and the way you word some things and count your spell errors, you place words that don't make sense in the book a lot.

Don’t. Even reading the few reviews that were posted, I decided that the book interested me enough to give it a try. I thought, how bad can it be? I can ignore spelling and grammar mistakes as long as the book is interesting. Well I was wrong. Apparently if there are enough errors, it will pull you out of the story. Now the story itself had potential. Unfortunately the further I read the more I realized it felt like a teenager was writing her first novel. Everything was unrealistic, from dialogu Don’t. Everything was unrealistic, from dialogue to the h being stubbornly stuck in the woe is me train, I was so ready for the story to be over. Another stickler is that it seems like every female she has met hates her. Why? I don’t know, it’s not like she has anything to be jealous about beside her strong right hook. As for the most abrupt ending I have ever read, I just don’t think I care enough to find out what happens, unless by some miracle this author hires a team of professionals to help her with her next book (not being mean but common get an editor) AND the reviews from other readers give me some hope that the once proud alpha grows his balls back and not contemplate jumping off a cliff just so that gal Sunday will smile again.

I’m giving it 3 Stars because it’s a good storyline. BUT, there’s no proper editing WHATSOEVER throughout this book. Cutting corners, maybe or just simply didn’t care to edit. 🤦🏼‍♀️ There’s a LOT of information missing and then bits & pieces are mentioned and I guess we are to fill in the blanks however we see fit. SPOILER... I’m not a fan of the her bad father and what he’s done to her sisters. It just doesn’t make sense why they were harmed and she wasn’t considering the situation, nor is there any full explanation why her parents didn’t like or want her. Why’s her mom an alcoholic? Why’s her dad the way he is and is still a pack leader? This isn’t like the majority of shifter books were your wolf is an animal. These wolves talk to their hosts as if they too are human. I didn’t care for that. The ending was soooo dragged out and ridiculous. You have this strong power Alpha acting all wimpy and ridiculous for chapters upon chapters. Then you have this stupid girl putting up with being mistreated and abused over and over then to be sooo consumed with should I forgive or not syndrome. The BFF Peter... huh? How & why? SMH There’s no build up to where THAT came from, it was BOOM, just there. Same with other characters. There’s no back story, no leading up to, it’s just there. Poor writing when the Author is rushing to a finish line. BUT noooo, it’s got a second book! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Very Disappointing As someone claiming to be a published and wanting to sell your books at such a high price, I find it very disrespectful and disappointing as a paying customer to have to deal with so many grammatical and spelling errors. I do not appreciated having to hurt my head to try and figure out what you're trying to say. With that said I'll say I enjoy the plot but they are way too many downsides to it. Two you have your Alphas sounding way too pathetic to actually be leading anyone and the wolves are way to passive. I'll continue to read the rest because I'm curious to see if the writing and the story improves but please spend some of my hard earned monies on getting an editor and if you have one a better one. I think you have promise as a writer but you're reaching way to far too fast. The read was not worth the price I paid.

Terrible Literally couldn't make it half way into the book. First, the whole story line is rushed and is written in a sloppy, unorganized way. When this book came up in my recommended reads, I was intrigued with the story line and decided to give it a read. I would recommend that the author take time to develop each character and time to develop a cohesive storyline instead of jumping back and forth. Please invest in an editor and consider using proper diction. I'm truly disappointed that you took a potentially great storyline and botched it into an "angst, bipolar, D rated soap opera" plot.

Storyline concept caught my attention but failed The storyline concept caught my attention but it was almost painful to struggle through reading the book. Is the author a young teen struggling with trying to become an adult? Flipping back and forth from different viewpoints was muddled and not clearly defined. If this was supposed to be geared towards young adults learning to deal with discovering emotions and physical attraction they missed the mark with the clumsy attempt at describing erotica. I'm going to assume this was self published because it really needs help from a good editor. Sadly I bought this but on the bright side I didn't purchase the sequel before reading this one.
