When you’re in your neighborhood liquor store trying to figure out what kind of alcohol to consume after finding out your fiancé has dumped you for a 22 year-old nanny, and the hottest guy you’ve ever seen comes up to you and offers to get you a drink at the bar down the street, you’d go—right? It’s not the kind of thing I would have done before now. I’ve been a Good Girl When you’re in your neighborhood liquor store trying to figure out what kind of alcohol to consume after finding out your fiancé has dumped you for a 22 year-old nanny, and the hottest guy you’ve ever seen comes up to you and offers to get you a drink at the bar down the street, you’d go—right? It’s not the kind of thing I would have done before now. I’ve been a Good Girl my whole life. Always played it safe, always followed the rules. I even got engaged to the principal of the school I teach at. Well, look where that got me. It got me back here in my apartment, with the sexiest most charming guy I’ve ever met. When I find out that he’s the nanny’s ex-boyfriend and his plan was to sleep with me to get back at my ex—you’d think I’d kick him out, right? Wrong. This guy Vince Devlin is exactly the kind of trouble I’ve been protecting myself from. Do I want to help him get back at my ex in this way? Oh. Hell. Yes. I want him to get back at my ex hard. With wild abandon. All night long. I expect the hottest (and only) one-night stand of my life. I don’t expect him to come back for more and show me the best summer I’ve ever had. I don’t expect us to fall in love. I don’t plan to invite him to come with me on my weekend getaway, I don’t expect him to say ‘yes,’ and neither of us expects to run into our exes there. We don’t expect any of it. The only thing we know for sure is that rebounding with each other is a bad idea. The best bad idea that either of us has ever had. REBOUND WITH ME is a sexy and sweet romantic comedy about a hot summer fling that just might turn out to be the real thing.

*Read as part of The Brooklyn Boyfriends collection* "There was no last night, there’s no rain, there are no questions, there is no end to this summer, there is only this." I was laughing out loud for most of this book. That's Kayley's writing for you: funny, sexy, and hot. This is the story of Vince and Nina. Nina is a first-grade teacher who was engaged to a guy who ended up cheating on her. He was definitely an asshole, but it was actually good this happened, because she would've stuck with him. You see, Nina went for safety instead of passion, the poor thing. And so she settled, with a guy who wouldn't even go down on her. As I said, asshole. Vince works in real estate, and Vince got cheated on by his girlfriend. Probably for the best too, because she definitely was NOT worth it - we get a glimpse of her in the story, and I wanted to punch her face in. Maybe Vince would have settled too, and that would've been so wrong. Anyway, what starts off as a sort of ridiculous, half-ass attempt at revenge ends up becoming a real love story for him. "Because I’ve been thinking that you’re the one who found me. Or…you keep finding these parts of me that I didn’t know existed." The beauty of this simple story is that, while they both didn't see the end of their respective relationships coming, they had to end. Simply because these two people need to be together. Vince turns Nina's world upside down by simply being himself, while Nina changes Vince's whole world by being herself too. No gimmicks, no tricks, no trying to please other people. You see, they couldn't be themselves around their exes, but they can totally be themselves with each other. They're discovering how to be happy again, and how love can be something incredible, with the right person. "'Baby, I would rather let you break my heart every day of my life than live without you.” I cover my mouth. “Oh my God. Vince. We’re so cheesy.'" I cannot stress enough how much I love both of them together. I love their cheesiness. I love the jokes, the innuendos, the sweetness. I love Nina's made up swear words - I mean, "clucktard", "motherflorcker"... priceless. I love Vince's family side, and the way he is with his kid brother. Adorable. More than anything, I love how they fit. "And that’s how I know it’s summer again, and that for us, it always will be." If there's a critique on my side, it's that I wanted more. The book is not that short, just a bit over 200 pages, but I wanted more just because I love them together. And the ending is perfect - another author would probably want to have a big romantic gesture, but there was no need for that with these two. Because sometimes it really is just that simple. Kayley Loring is definitely one of my favorite writers. Can't wait to read the rest of this collection!

Let me tell you why. ********************************************* THE PLOT Vince decides to have a revenge-f*ck with the ex-fiancé of the man who his girlfriend cheated on him with. He follows Nina around and acts as if they have met by accident when he sees her in a liquor store. They start to talk casually and Vince sees that he actually likes Nina. Of course, he doesn't tell her that he has been stalking her and that he was after some revenge. He just charms her panties off. And in the middle of their one-night stand, just before they had sex, he makes a mistake and she understands that he knows who she is. Then they talk about it and Vince says that it was his initial intention but now he wants her because he really likes her. In the middle of their conversation, while he was talking about his ex, he punches the wall and makes a hole and weird but she is not afraid of him. I might have thought he had anger management issues. Anyways, he says he is sorry, they talk a bit more and in the end, she is OK with it and they have their one-night stand. ********************************************* Later, although they both fear what they feel might not be real and they may just be each other's rebounds, they decide to be together, at least all summer long. Although Vince's initial intention was revenge, I believed that he actually liked Nina and I had high expectations about their story. However, it failed to satisfy my expectations big time. ********************************************* WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE I didn't like that Nina thought she wasn't enough for Vince. I didn't like that Vince's therapy sessions were glossed over. They felt as if they were there for the sake of letting us know that he is going to therapy. When they meet their exes, Nina thought Vince downgraded with her now as his ex was gorgeous and I didn't like it. I would have preferred she had more self-confidence. I didn't like that Vince accepted his ex's double date offer and Nina suffered through it. I didn't like that Vince didn't tell Nina that his ex came onto him. Nina's friend sees them and tells her that he pushes his ex away when she tries to kiss him but when Nina tells about it to Vince, he doesn't explain it in a satisfactory way. He just says he didn't think it was important and that's why he never mentioned about it. I didn't like his explanation. And after that conversation, I didn't like that Nina felt insecure and needed a time apart and thus, there was a separation for weeks. I was looking forward to a satisfying "come together" after being weeks apart but Vince comes and says he missed her, she says sorry for hurting and leaving him and whoops, the happy end! I didn't like such an easy reconciliation. Another thing that bothered me is the unresolved situation of their exes. We've learnt that his ex and her ex are having problems and arguments in their relationship but at the end of the book we don't know what happened to them. I didn't like that the writer made such a rushed ending that she never bothered to mention about their situation. ********************************************* All things considered, I liked the beginning of the book, their attraction was palpable and they were sweet and charming but after the revelation of the truth and their hot and sweet one-night stand, the tempo of the book drops from 90 to 20 and it goes on like that, feeling never enough... In short, only, the beginning of the book is awesome, the rest is, unfortunately, a disappointment. *** You can follow my instagram page from here

Miss Loring usually can write such a corky fun romance book. Rebound with Me is no exception. There is her signature of out loud laughing jokes in this book. This book is more intended for NA audience. The insta lust is..well.. instant. With a twist of faith, 2 people who got dumped by their respective ex, rebounding with each other. I mostly just enjoyed this book for the laugh. Its been a long weekend. 3 stars

I’ve previously met Vince and Nina in The Plus Ones, however, I LOVED getting to see how they met and the start of their relationship. Plus, their meet cute was fun and I LOVED it. He is sweet, but he also has a dirty side to him. I loved how he cared for his little brother, it was sweet and will seriously melt your heart. Nina is also super loveable. She is funny, sweet and she is caring. The two of them together have amazing chemistry that was instant! I couldn’t get enough of them and their banter. I seriously was cracking up while I was listening to the audiobook of this story. The narrators, Teddy Hamilton and Mackenzie Cartwright, did a FANTASTIC job bringing both Vince and Nina to life. They both captured Vince and Nina so perfectly that it made the story so much fun to listen to. This one is a MUST READ and a MUST LISTEN if you’re looking for a laugh out loud romcom.

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. Almost a 5 star for me. LOL! Loved Vince. He and Nina are perfectly head over heels for each other. But this book ended way too quick. At the 85% mark. And the mini separation was over and done before you could blink, thankfully, but very unnecessary. Another case of just talking things through could've settled that. Anywho....this was a quick fun read. What I'm confused about is this is the last of the 3 books (Tonight You're Mine, Come Back to Bed, Rebound With Me) leading up to The Plus Ones Almost a 5 star for me. LOL! Loved Vince. Where the 3 couples from these books join side characters Keaton and Roxy from book 1 (Tonight Your Mine). What I'm confused about is when do these 3 couples all get together as the close friends the are in The Plus Ones? I kept waiting for the couples tie in but there wasn't one. There's a very brief mention of Matt in book 1 but that's it. Too bad. That would've made it even more fun. Maybe its just me. I read book 4 and backtracked because I wanted to know more about the other couples. And glad I did. Oh well, just a heads up. They're all fun books. Enjoy!

Enjoyable read, totally unlikely ending Based on the rest of the book, I'd have scored this one higher, but but unfortunately the ending just seemed totally unrealistic to me and spoiled it for me. If you went your separate ways for 10weeks without any contact you wouldn't just pick up where you left off without some major grovelling... It was ok. My biggest problem was that I was back and forth about liking Vince. He seemed a little bipolar sometimes. I also didn't like their "time apart". It was a little immature. I did like the chemistry between them otherwise I'd have considered this read a flop. It was ok. My biggest problem was that I was back and forth about liking Vince. Cute, humorous, and spicy! Not a big fan of how/why Vince wanted to hook up with Nina. But if she can forgive him, then so can I! However, this is the first story I've read where the cheaters come face to face with their victims and the result is laugh out loud priceless!!! I know people who would pay big money for that kind of revenge...excuse me, closure. Lol!!!!!!!! Cute, humorous, and spicy! Not a big fan of how/why Vince wanted to hook up with Nina. I would rate it higher because I did dig the relationship and dynamics in this story, it was fun and sexy. And yet, I couldn't quite overcome how stalking/following someone was normalized as perfectly reasonable way to meet women. The proper response to realizing someone followed you, then subsequently finding out they followed your ex to your apartment, and then staked out your apartment until you emerged to follow you further to get you to sleep with them...is not...carrying on with the hook-up I would rate it higher because I did dig the relationship and dynamics in this story, it was fun and sexy. GREAT! I really enjoyed Vince and Nina's story What a bargain this is turning out to be. I am listening to this as part of The Brooklyn Book Boyfriends collection, 4 books in one box set, and I am already excited to get stuck into the other stories in this set. The story begins where Vince and Nina are now single after discovering their partners have been having an affair. Vince seeks Nina out after discovering it was her partner that his girlfriend had the affair with. An interesting storyline. GREAT! Looking forward to more.

5/5 My second Loring book in 2 days and I will be continuing on this journey of reading them all because the two that I have read have been so good. Though both have caused me to stay up later than I should have. I don’t regret a thing. Vince and Nina were gold. They made me laugh and feel and smile and root for them! I’m so happy I got to be a part of their lives! You should definitely read this book!

I was a little nervous how this was going to play out, with a rebound being the trope. But, this worked out amazingly well. Characters were really great. This couple had serious chemistry. My only complaint would be how fast everything moved. But, a really fun, entertaining read overall.

Vince decides to follow Nina’s ex back to Nina’s apartment where he sees Nina dumping all of her ex’s clothes out of her apartment and onto the street. Vince has a plan to run into Nina and get her to sleep with him on the rebound which would be a perfect way to get back at their exes. Nina and Vince meet at a liquor store where he charms her into going to a bar and having a drink with him. Vince is a jack of all trades and he charms her by talking about the jobs and experiences that he has had. Nina is from the Midwest and she’s a good girl. She normally wouldn’t have a one night stand or bring home a stranger to sleep with but she has been upset over being cheated on and she has a lot of chemistry with Vince. She finds out that Vince had kind of been stalking her with the plan of sleeping with her after he accidentally mentions that Nina’s ex is a principal at the school that she teaches at. Vince kinda loses it and accidentally punches a hole in her wall. He immediately feels bad and admits the whole plan but Nina is attracted to him and buzzed and they have a night together. Vince promises to come back and fix her wall. He comes back twice to fix her wall and the chemistry between them is still hot. Even after an embarrassing moment where Nina’s parents stop for a visit and catches the two after a hot afternoon together, they decide to do the rebound thing and sleep together for the entire summer. They’re total opposites with Vince being the confident, outgoing, experienced guy and Nina the quiet, nerdy, school teacher who hadn’t had a lot of experience with men. He can’t get enough of Nina and what started out as a fling becomes more. I loved seeing Vince fall for Nina. She’s everything that he’s not used to and vice versa. They’re cute together. It’s not a perfect start but Hayley Loring writes some amazing romances. The opposites attract rebound romance had me hooked. There were parts where you wanted to yell at Vince but he’s so charming that you can’t help but like him. You like Nina because she is genuinely kind and sweet. She dazzles him with her personality and the sex is hot. This was a fantastic read.

A new favourite author! I need to start this review by saying that I love the characters in this authors books! I love how the lead female is sassy, light hearted, adaptable and strong. Although the alpha manliness (not sure if that's a word but it totally should be) is present, it isn't the be all and end all that most authors attribute the relationship problems to. The characters were well written, the sex scenes balanced throughout the story with natural leadings into them. Most of all I found myself smiling, chuckling, tearing up and grinding my teeth alongside these characters and at the end all I wanted was to keep reading. The author truly pulled me into this story and I have since picked up two more of her stories. I look forward to reading them with great pleasure. Overall, a well written emotive story with my own real complaint being that it came to an end. A very enjoyable read for those who like dual perspective storylines too.

It’s healing nicely. I think Joni Mitchell would be proud to know that her lyrics have a permanent place on my lower abdomen. I watch his eyes light up as he reads: Oh I could drink a case of you darling And I would still be on my feet I would still be on my feet “For me?” “For you, darlin’.” He pushes my skirt down so that it falls to the floor, scoops me up in his arms and carries me to my bed, placing me down ever so gently. He kisses all around the tattoo, and keeps staring at it when he says, “You got any big plans for the Fall, or…the rest of your life?” “Yeah,” I say, reaching for him. “I know a guy.”

I had so much fun watching Vince and Nina rebound together, become stronger together and fall in love together! Their story is filled with so much heart and humor….and steamy sex, too! I loved Nina and rooted for her to discover who she truly was after her fiancé dumped her and, of course, to find love again. While Vince came across as so confident, flirty and sexy, he realized right away that Nina was special and let himself be vulnerable with her. Their journey was fun and I was glad that it w I had so much fun watching Vince and Nina rebound together, become stronger together and fall in love together! Their story is filled with so much heart and humor….and steamy sex, too! I loved Nina and rooted for her to discover who she truly was after her fiancé dumped her and, of course, to find love again. Their journey was fun and I was glad that it was only mildly angsty. I love Kayley Loring’s writing and her incredible wit. I laugh more in her books than in any others, and yet her stories are also incredibly heartfelt and emotional. I also love that she always gives us such loveable and funny side characters. Nina’s parents are a hoot and Vince’s family is great, too. Mackenzie Cartwright and Teddy Hamilton are excellent in their narration and make you want to be friends with and/or fall in love with their characters.

I've always heard the term rebound but I never really read or saw anything about it. I don't even know anybody who has even gone through this. To find a story based solely on rebounding was interesting. What made me pick up the story is the unique way Vince and Nina met and how they got together because their exes were dating each other and cheated on them with each other. This sounds highly unlikely but very intriguing. It just goes to show that the world really is a small place and fate defini I've always heard the term rebound but I never really read or saw anything about it. This sounds highly unlikely but very intriguing. It just goes to show that the world really is a small place and fate definitely plays into this. It also shows that opposites really do attract and could wind up being the best thing to ever happen to you. I took a little longer to read this book because at the exact time I started this book, my own life started to get busy so time ran away from me but I was glad I was finally able to finish this book. It was a little different than Kayley Loring books I'm used to, but I really enjoyed this. Great story and fun characters!

I don't know what made me click on this book in the Bookstore on Amazon, but i'm SO GLAD I did. I'd never heard of this author before, but the synopsis of this book was too good to pass up, so I 1-clicked it and was sucked in from the beginning. I didn't want to go to work because I just wanted to stay home and read this book. Holy Motherflorker! Vince is delicious. I love that he's the "Bad Boy" With the looks and the tattoos and the "Don't give a shit" attitude, but inside he's a huge softie a I don't know what made me click on this book in the Bookstore on Amazon, but i'm SO GLAD I did. And that's exactly what makes him perfect! This book is FANTASTIC and I highly recommend it to any one in the Indie community. Especially the fans of Staci Hart, J. Daniels and Helena Hunting. Definitely found a new favorite!

Loved it! I was a tiny bit skeptical of the premise of this book. I hate love triangles, or OW OM drama, but I shouldn’t have worried. This was engaging from the first page to the last. It’s also the first book I have read where the guy is actually self aware enough to go to therapy to work on himself. And it was BRILLIANT. How many books have I read where I legitimately thought “their HEA is not going to last because these idiots never worked out the crap that caused their issues in the first plac Loved it! But this book smashed it. Both the H and h are so lovable. Their struggles feel realistic, and their HEA is entirely believable. Also, there is a good bit of humor mixed in with the conflict and drama. If you get the chance to also listen to the Spotify playlist as you read, don’t pass it up. It was great.
