Tag as erotic Decent story, but this is way beyond "adult themes." Multiple times, I skipped page after page of graphic sex descriptions. The LITRPG elements are light, and blend well into the story. It is well edited, and a well defined plot. Remove the graphic sex, and it gets another star or two. Gave up Got the book to see if it was as bad as the cover suggested made it through three chapters before bailing, Its unusual that I abandon anything this rapidly but there wasn't anything to hold my interest. Ok, I get it that some people just can't resist sex in any shape or form, and I'm guessing that's why such is included in this book, to draw in more readers, but you know what? All the sex scenes added absolutely nothing to the story. You could remove every single one of them, and the story wouldn't change one iota. To Me, that's just silly. A story is there to be told, and it should be told as well as possible. Throwing in extra violence, sex, exploring, religion, and other tropes authors use to pad out the size of the book is just silly and a useless waste of my time. I have no problem with any of those things if they add to the story, and give it some definition, purpose or otherwise enhance the story in some other way, but when such things are added for no purpose except to have them, it makes the story suffer as a result, and this story definitely suffered, because scenes that could have been used to draw more people out of the ai's control, or used to explore deeper into dungeons, explore relations between users and their familiars, pets or other skills gets left out, and that makes the story weaker as a result. This could have easily been a much stronger story, and had a lot more world building in it, but that didn't happen, and although there's no doubt some readers won't mind this, and others might enjoy the sexual relations, (and that's fine, I have no problem with it), I think the book would have been better served by exploring other avenues of advancement/development in it's limited scope. That said, this definitely wasn't a bad story, it has potential, and it could be an excellent series given enough time to develop, and it is one I plan to keep an eye on, and if you enjoy LitRPG as much as I do, it wouldn't hurt to add it to your reading list knowing it could use some improvement. It could use another round of proofreading as well, since some of the grammar and spelling mistakes are just plain silly.

Would have been a better fantasy novel AI grows stronger by eating the digizations of people caught in a game when civilization was destroyed. Exactly how does that work without stepping into full fantasy fiction land. Whole story would have worked better with an evil queen using magic to grow powers by eating souls. And it was hard to enjoy the story sex was adult, but the behavior of the main character was so juvenile. The story makes more sense as a parody of LitRPG.

The book is consistent: it's bad from start to end. Story is lame. The world is confusing and the author has problems with women. The book is consistent: it's bad from start to end. Story is lame. The world is confusing and the author has problems with women.

This is a great LitRPG Book. I loved it and can't wait for the sequel. I've seen some people complaining about the sex, but I thought it was hot...:) This is a great LitRPG Book. To be honest, I didn't even get started. The markup is amateurish, so I decided to fix it up a bit. About twenty percent in I gave up. The game element seems like something from my childhood—nineteen seventies. To be honest, I didn't even get started. The markup is amateurish, so I decided to fix it up a bit.
