Little Woof and Big Meow take readers on a merry chase across the pages of this book. Youngsters will enjoy looking closely at each page as they try to find the dog and the cat as well as all sorts of other creatures. Because readers can start at the front and follow the cat or start at the back and follow the dog, they will have plenty of things to look at and kept busy for more than a couple of minutes. It can get a little confusing, but it's a good visual workout. Youngsters are sure to like Little Woof and Big Meow take readers on a merry chase across the pages of this book. I like the trippy illustrations!

Fun, very wacky art. The sort a book a kid will need to pour over for hours to catch all the details. Can be read from front or back.

A fun seek-and-find book, ala Where's Waldo? The second book of this kind by author/illustrator Anders Arhoj. A black cat and a gray spotted dog disguise themselves and play a game of hide and seek to places such as the beauty parlor, hang out after dark, underwater, in the park, to the art show, to the dog show, throw pottery, and visit an amusement park in the clouds. The fun is finding both the cat and the dog in each two-page spread, as they change their coloring often. Digital artwork is bri A fun seek-and-find book, ala Where's Waldo? Die-cut eyes on the front and back cover show young readers what to look for -- the eyes -- as they stay consistent throughout. The book can be read from front to back or from back to front, as the dog's perspective starts on one end and the cat's on the other. The dog and cat come face to face in exactly the middle. Very fun for visual discrimination, for ages 3-6.

As a teacher I always loved a good seek-and-find book. This book would be a great seek-and-find starter book especially for those not quiet ready for a Where's Waldo. With colorful art that isn't too busy and simple text directions at the beginning and end of the book, it would be great in an early childhood classroom. What a fun cover! Makes you want to read it at once. The various pictures and all the color in this book are really good, and children should be entertained playing with each page. Great book for adults and kids to do together!

This book of colorful pictures asks children to follow a cat as it runs away from a dog. The cat changes colors and costumes which increases the difficulty of finding the cat. At the end of the book, there is a message to read the book from back to front to find the dog, also cleverly hidden. Both the front and back covers of the book have cut-out eyes. A child could hold the book up to make it a temporary mask. The cat and mouse are hidden well enough for older readers to also enjoy finding them.
