Stepahnie E. Myers created a small detailed book of Queen Charlotte Queen of Britain and Ireland 1761-1818 detailing her family background, coronation, hobbies and her relationship with abolitionist. It also list places named after Queen Charlotte. A great read.

A thoughtful, insightful look into Queen Sophia Charlotte’s life and reign. It was enlightening and paints a flattering portrait of a Queen often overlooked by history despite her numerous contributions. I felt like I got to know her a bit better through this novel. Although slim it is packed with information and helpful visual aids. Additionally it presents a compelling argument for her mixed heritage. Would love to see more books and programs on this subject. This is a great start.

A quick read, written in a college report style but that does let one not loose their place. I learned a lot about Sophia Charlotte and her husband King George III. Both of them persured a wide variety of the arts, sciences and astronomy. Her story fits perfectly with the Black Lives Matter movement and the Corona Virus. She was represented as the Queen in Bridgerton.
