He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, but if he doesn’t produce an heir before his ailing father kicks the bucket then he could see the company in the hands of his affable but slow half-brother. Milo Wallace moved across the country—from Barkside to Sunnybrooke—to escape a possessive and abusive ex-boyfriend. Danny, his ex-lover, was born an alpha but behaved like a beta, and he wouldn’t leave Milo go without a fight. Broken down, both physically and mentally, Milo is no longer able to use his omega gifts, and he isn't sure that he’ll be able to give Carter Bennett the one thing he desires, but Carter Bennett has an alpha nose and he’s caught a whiff of omega—the billionaire believes in miracles. Their whirlwind romance knocks Milo for a loop, and he can’t help but wonder if the heat in his belly is indeed heavenly. Get ready to enjoy an exciting new non-shifter MM romance featuring the fun and dangerous citizens that inhabit Sunnybrooke. This book is the first in the series but each installment follows a unique set of characters and can be enjoyed separately. That said, future and past characters always pop up, and the books are better read in order. The book is intended for mature readers, has a definitive ending (for these characters) and ends on a high note—the HEA is guaranteed!

I really liked this cute little story... until I read the two last chapters. The characters were touching and it has that hint of humor and freshness that's always welcome in Omegaverse novels, but it was still too cliché and, concretely, the Omegaverse side of it was clearly missing and it's definitely not an mpreg story. For me, the title doesn't fit the storyline and a small paragraph referring to a baby doesn't make it up for the rest of the book. When I started reading this book, I didn't understand the low rating of the book because it was funny and refreshing in the beginning, but the ending did definitely give reason to the previous ratings. Too bad, it had a good start. 2 ** stars for the sake of the laughter. I like it when a book makes me smile and this one did ... until the 4th chapter.
